LogicMons V2: Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings

* All FWG Starters: Get Celebrate as Gen 7 Event
we should be celebrating ALL starters
Tyranitar: Mountaineer
forgot some
Castform: Base 90 stats all around, Water/Normal, remove Sandstorm
"Its appearance changes with the weather. Recently, its molecules were found to be just like water." - DPP
BST Buff since it shouldn't have base 70's for something who can endure the weather. Different forms will be monotype.
Aggron: Gains Mountaineer over Heavy Metal, weight increase to 720 kg to compensate (Mega is 755 kg)
Wailord: Increases weight to 995 kg, Heavy Slam
its a whale
* Registeel: Wonder Metal (Thick Fat clone; reduces Rock/Fighting moves' damage by half)
"Its body is harder than any other kind of metal. The body metal is composed of a mysterious substance. Not only is it hard, it shrinks and stretches flexibly." - Emerald
* Deoxys: Draco Meteor (Gen 4/5 Event). Normal form has 50/100/120/100/120/110 stats and drops to OU. Gains new HAs based on its form:
Normal: Trace | Attack: Adaptability | Defense: Battle Armor | Speed: Unburden
Draco Meteor represents the Meteors Deoxys comes from and matches Jirachi events. Normal form is still really glass cannony and not a 'balanced' form.
Ambipom: Hold Hands
Rampardos: Rock Head, Rock Wrecker
come on
Mienshao (Inner Focus): Skill Link, Arm Thrust, Fury Swipes, Comet Punch, Tail Slap, +10 Base Speed
"Using the long fur on its arms like whips, it launches into combo attacks that, once started, no one can stop."
* Terrakion: Head Charge, Head Smash, Rock Wrecker, Wide Guard
"Its charge is strong enough to break through a giant castle wall in one blow. This Pokémon is spoken of in legends." White
"Spoken of in legend, this Pokémon used its phenomenal power to destroy a castle in its effort to protect Pokémon." BW2

* Slow Start: Lasts for 2 turns.
regigigas should be stronger than it is

Oh hey, an excuse to rant about three things that annoy the hell out of me every day.

+ Head Smash: They're Ground-types (or evolved from Ground-types) that wear helmets, can have the Ability Rock Head and can learn all of Headbutt, Skull Bash and Iron Head, and yet they can't learn Head Smash? This has to be a mistake rather than a deliberate choice by GF.

+ Heal Bell: "These key collectors threaten any attackers by fiercely jingling their keys at them." You know, like bells.

+ Earth Power: Its signature move, Geomancy, is literally Ancient Greek for "Earth power/magic."

+Thick Fat, +Megahorn
"It gets picked on because it's meek. But then, whoever teased it gets to feel the full force of its horns and a good swatting from its thick tail." -Moon
"Underneath its slimy skin is a thick layer of fat, and the combination of the two makes enemies' attacks slide right off." -Ultra Moon

+Mind Break (replaces Cloud Nine for Psyduck, Own Tempo for Espurr)
Mind Break: 2.5x power on Psychic moves but they make the user sustain 33% recoil, a reference to both of these pokemons' uncontrollable, sometimes painful Psychic energy

+Aurora Veil
It has Snow Warning, it has Aurora in its name and its dex entries say it can make a wall of ice. Why DOESN'T it get this??

+Explosion
"It has a secret, devastating move. It rubs its blazing fur together to cause huge explosions." -Silver

All of Tmi's changes are approved except for Castform, Registeel and Regigigas, those are more buffs for the sake of it with mediocre/bad justification. Wonder Metal might be reconsidered, but Slow Start and Castform buff are a no. Walrein's Magic Bounce clone will be dubbed Blubber Bounce

formerly Ticktock
Slow Start: Now instead makes the user unable to move for 5 turns rather than halving Attack and Speed.
Its Slow Start, might as well make it not move.

T.I.A.

formerly Ticktock
Oh, and one more thing for Regigigas: It should have Rest. It stays in a slumber until something bad happens, in which still rests when its no longer needed.

(10% only): Strong Jaw, +Fire Fang, +Thunder Fang, Hyper Fang, Poison Fang, Psychic Fangs
"It leaps at its opponent's chest and sinks its sharp fangs into them."- Ultra Sun

change new scrappy into a new ability ("horn aiming" or something) that ignores all immunities

Electrivire: Lightning Rod
"When a storm approaches, it competes with others to scale heights that are likely to be stricken by lightning. Some towns use Electabuzz in place of lightning rods." - Electrabuzz Emerald

Wormadam, Tangrowth: Camouflage
"When it remains still, it appears to be a large shrub. Unsuspecting prey that wander near get ensnared by its vines." - Tangrowth HG
Wormadam's gimmick is its camoflage (though if changing it on the fly is too much then don't add it)

Camerupt, Groudon: Heat Crash
Heavy fire types!

Zangoose:
It has feuded with Seviper for many generations. Its sharp claws are its biggest weapons. (Pokemon X)
Memories of battling its arch-rival Seviper are etched into every cell of Zangoose's body. This Pokémon adroitly dodges attacks with incredible agility.(Ruby)
Add Dragon Claw. It's claws are it's weapons, why can't it learn that.
Also add Agility. Its pretty clear.
Also perhaps a Normal/Fighting type is more accurate, as it obviously has powerful weapons in it's claws.

As you can see, being stuck in a prolonged inescapable endurance standoff is the canon result of all Wobbuffet v Wobbuffet encounters, and its ability should reflect this.

Necrozma (Base) + "Light Absorb"
(replaces Prism Armor)
"Solar Absorption" allows the user too absorb "light" based moves (Light Of The Ruin, Psycho Cut, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Prismatic laser, Zap Canon, Volt Switch, Photon Geyser, Flash Canon, Luster Purge, Mist Ball, and Light That Burns The Sky), and boost it's Special Attack by 1 when hit by "light" based moves. However, it's 4x weak too dark.

"Light is apparently the source of its energy. It has an extraordinarily vicious disposition and is constantly firing off laser beams." - Moon
"Light is the source of its energy. If it isn't devouring light, impurities build up in it and on it, and Necrozma darkens and stops moving." - Ultra Moon

Thundurus gains Fly
"As it flies around, it shoots lightning all over the place and causes forest fires. It is therefore disliked." (Fly)
"The spikes on its tail discharge immense bolts of lightning. It flies around the Unova region firing off lightning bolts." (Fly)

Landorus gains Harvest as an HA, and Energy Ball.
"Lands visited by Landorus grant such bountiful crops that it has been hailed as “The Guardian of the Fields.” (Harvest)
"The energy that comes pouring from its tail increases the nutrition in the soil, making crops grow to great size." (Energy Ball)

Tornadus gains Drizzle as an HA, and Extreme Speed
"The lower half of its body is wrapped in a cloud of energy. It zooms through the sky at 200 mph." (Extreme Speed)
"Tornadus expels massive energy from its tail, causing severe storms. Its power is great enough to blow houses away." (Drizzle)

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
: Bug/Fighting, +Five-Star Fists (replace Early Bird)
Five-Star Fists: Fist Moves (except Power-Up Punch, Focus Punch and multi-strike moves) hits five times, but all five hits have 30% less Base Power.
"In battle, it throws punches with all four arms. The power of each individual blow is piddly, so it aims to win by quantity rather than quality." - Moon
Just remember that Ledian's Attack is pathetic (base 35) despite leaning heavily for physical movesets. If the Ability proves to be too strong even with Ledian in practice, then I will reduce to just four hits. For Bug/Fighting, it have so many Fighting-moves I wonders why it isn't Bug/Fighting instead of Bug/Flying.

: +Fur Coat (replace Cute Charm), +Moonblast, +Growth
Several Pokedex entries tells about its fur in various description, and not just fluffy, thus Fur Coat. The increased Attack and Special Attack reflect that according to the Pokedex entries, you don't want to make it angry as it will inflate to no apparent end. Here are some examples.
"Its fur is the ultimate in luxuriousness. Sleeping alongside a Wigglytuff is simply divine. Its body expands seemingly without end when it inhales." - Emerald
"When it gets angry, it inhales with all its might, and its body gradually inflates. Sometimes they can grow 20 times larger!" - Sun, and this PokeDex also explains Growth in some way.

(Ledian is already approved in Discord)

Castform: Base form changes to Flying/Normal, Sun to Flying/Fire, Rain to Flying/Water, and Hail to Flying/Ice. Gains new Flying/Rock form for Sandstorm, and regains the move Sandstorm. Retains 90/90/90/90/90/90 stat spread. Gains new forms for primal weather, each with 90/110/110/110/110/110 spreads - Desolate Land is Flying/Fire, Primordial Sea is Flying/Water, and Delta Stream is Flying/Normal.

It's a fucking cloud (that already has a Water form), so I gave it Flying-type. Gave it a Sandstorm form for consistency. Since the primal weathers are powered-up versions of normal weather, Castform gets powered-up versions of the forms for the corresponding normal weather.

(At least) marginally competitive changes only, not hidden because I couldn't get the spoiler function to work properly:

Pidgeot: + Extreme Speed; + Gale Wings (over Big Pecks)
Numerous Pokedex entries explain both its extremely fast speed and its ability to create gales. SoulSilver in particular encapsulates both its speed and its wings concisely: "It spreads its beautiful wings wide to frighten its enemies. It can fly at Mach 2 speed."

Sandslash-Alola: + Ice Shard
It learns similar moves such as Icicle Crash, and has huge spikes plus Slush Rush to back up a capacity for speed. It also learns Ice Shard in LGP/E.

Poliwrath: + Superpower
Superpower is part of its level-up movepool in LGP/E, and most other fully evolved Fighting-types (and physically strong Pokémon in general) can learn Superpower.

Machamp: + Mach Punch
Besides literally being in its name, multiple Pokedex entries including X back it up: "Its four ruggedly developed arms can launch a flurry of 1,000 punches in just two seconds."

Bellsprout, Weepinbell, and Victreebel: + Corrosion (as an additional non-hidden Ability)
All three learn Acid by level-up, and the latter two have repeated Pokedex entries mentioning the capabilities and common use of their acid.

Rapidash: + Extreme Speed
Three separate Pokedex entries mention its maximum galloping speed of 150 mph, and it already learns many direct contact attacks.

Mareep, Flaaffy, Swablu, and Altaria: + Fluffy (as an additional non-hidden Ability)
All four are obvious fits, due to their wool and wings.

Phanpy and Stunfisk: + Dry Skin (as an additional non-hidden Ability and over Limber, respectively)
Its Alpha Sapphire entry says the following: "Phanpy uses its long nose to shower itself. When others gather around, they thoroughly douse each other with water. These Pokémon can be seen drying their soaking-wet bodies at the edge of water." This doesn't make sense without a Water-absorbing ability for a Water-weak Pokémon, and Dry Skin seems like the fit due to it being a Ground-type. As for Stunfisk, it's also a Ground-type that spends its time on beaches at the water's edge, and it's only logical that it would be immune to Water-type moves as such.

Mightyena and Cacturne: + Pursuit
"It chases down prey in a pack" + "Packs of them follow travelers through the desert until the travelers can no longer move." - respective snippets from multiple Pokedex entries

Milotic: + Dazzling (over Cute Charm)
A majority of its Pokedex entries mention its breathtaking beauty; Marvel (as in marvelous) Scale is even its signature Ability.

Vespiquen: + Queenly Majesty (over Unnerve)
It's a bee queen that rules swarms of Combee, which could represent a form of majesty in their own right.

Purugly: + Intimidate (over Own Tempo)
"To make itself appear intimidatingly beefy, it tightly cinches its waist with its twin tails." - Pearl, Y, and Alpha Sapphire Pokedex entries

Drapion: + Tough Claws (over Keen Eye)
"It has the power in its clawed arms to make scrap of a car." - Diamond, Y, and Alpha Sapphire Pokedex entries

Herdier: + Fur Coat (over Sand Rush)
"It has black, cape-like fur that is very hard and decreases the amount of damage it receives." - Black, Y, and Alpha Sapphire Pokedex entries

Archeops: + Accelerock
Accelerock's description: "The user smashes into the target at high speed. This move always goes first." Archeops can already learn Head Smash, and it has multiple Pokedex entries stating it can run at 25 mph.

Klink, Klang, and Klinklang: + Rapid Spin
All three spin constantly, and some of their existing moves such as Gear Grind already demonstrate a capability to spin rapidly.

Virizion: + Horn Leech
It has horns that it attacks with (as alluded to by Sacred Sword's description), and learning Giga Drain by level-up shows it can leech energy from its foes with its moves. Also, other horned grass-types such as Sawsbuck and Gogoat already learn Horn Leech.

Delphox: + Thunderbolt; + Focus Blast
Both moves are representative of its mage theme, and most fully evolved Psychic-types already learn both.

Gogoat: + Thick Fat (as an additional non-hidden Ability)
It's based on a mountain goat, and its Y and Alpha Sapphire Pokedex entries say it inhabits mountainous regions.

Pangoro: + Close Combat
Most other fully-evolved Fighting-types already learn it, and then there's its Y Pokedex entry to further back it up: "It charges ahead and bashes its opponents like a berserker, uncaring about any hits it might take. Its arms are mighty enough to snap a telephone pole."

Dragalge: + Acid Spray; + Corrosion (over Poison Point)
From Ultra Sun: "This vicious Pokémon sprays a poisonous liquid on opponents that come near." Its X and Omega Ruby entries mention said liquid's corrosive qualities, further backed up by Acid being in its level-up list.

* Pikanium Z, Pikashunium Z: Increases Spa/Atk of PIkachu by 1.5*
what's the point of using them over light ball
Dark Void: No longer locked to Darkrai only, 60% accuracy
why
Rayquaza: Has to hold the Meteorite (Poke Ball) to Mega, dropped to Ubers
stupid delta episode never happened in SM
Shaymin: Aroma Veil as HA (Sky is locked to Serene Grace)
its a flower mon
Genesect: Changes secondary type to match its Drive. Genesect-Burn and Genesect-Chill drop to OU.
what's the point of having a new sprite without a noticible change
reposts:
change new scrappy into a new ability ("horn aiming" or something) that ignores all immunities
original scrappy should remain as "foresight but an ability"
Electrivire and Prevos: Lightning Rod
"When a storm approaches, it competes with others to scale heights that are likely to be stricken by lightning. Some towns use Electabuzz in place of lightning rods." - Electrabuzz Emerald
Wormadam, Tangrowth: Camouflage
"When it remains still, it appears to be a large shrub. Unsuspecting prey that wander near get ensnared by its vines." - Tangrowth HG
Wormadam's gimmick is its camouflage, plus Mothim has it (though if changing it on the fly is too much then don't add it)
Camerupt, Groudon: Heat Crash
Heavy fire types!

Stick cannot be knocked off, Tricked or otherwise removed.
"It can't live without the stalk it holds. That's why it defends the stalk from attackers with its life." -Diamond, Pearl and Platinum

Juicer replaces Contrary
Juicer: When this Pokemon holds a berry, it is turned into Berry Juice after being consumed or removed. This Berry Juice heals the amount as the original berry and carries the same secondary effects.
"Shuckle quietly hides itself under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its hard shell while eating berries it has stored away. The berries mix with its body fluids to become a juice." -Alpha Sapphire

Desolate Land replaces Flame Body
"Magcargo's body temperature is approximately 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Water is vaporized on contact. If this Pokémon is caught in the rain, the raindrops instantly turn into steam, cloaking the area in a thick fog." -Alpha Sapphire

+Eat Banana
Eat Banana: The user eats a delicious banana. 10/16 PP, Grass type, heals user by 50% and recovers any status conditions. Can be used on allies to give them the same effects, restoring 75% if they are NFE.
"The bunch of fruit around its neck ripens twice a year and is delicious. It's a highly favored tropical snack."
"It flies by flapping its broad leaves and gives the sweet, delicious fruit around its neck to children. " -BW2
Bananas contain Vitamin C, which prevents scurvy, therefore justifying status healing.

+Pickup, Suction Cups, +Fly
"It travels by riding on winds. It cleverly uses its long tail to pluck nuts and berries, which it loves to eat. " (Pickup) -FireRed/LeafGreen
"In high winds, Chimecho cries as it hangs from a tree branch or the eaves of a building using a suction cup on its head. This Pokémon plucks berries with its long tail and eats them." (Suction Cups) -Alpha Sapphire
"They fly about very actively when the hot season arrives. They communicate among themselves using seven different and distinguishing cries. " (Fly) -Emerald

+Soundproof, +Dead Zone
Dead Zone: The user guides the target to the Spirit World, causing their doom to arrive ever faster. 95 BP, 95% accurate, 10/16 PP, Physical, Ghost type. On turn 1, charges and prevents the foe from moving if they haven't done so already. On turn 2, does damage and applies Perish Song.
"The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there." (Soundproof) -Diamond and Pearl
"It is said to take lost spirits into its pliant body and guide them home." (Dead Zone) -Platinum

Oooh, thank you Yung Dramps for reviving this! I have a couple ideas that I stole borrowed from the old thread:
: Gear Grind
Come on, it's body is literally made of gears! It has to be able to grind them if it wants to move, since that's how gears work in real life, so I don't understand why Magearna wouldn't be able to do the same
: Fairy Aura
"It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights." -X
"Its ribbonlike feelers give off an aura that weakens hostility in its prey, causing them to let down their guard. Then it attacks." -Sun
So, how can this pokemon give off an aura if it can't learn the ability that LITERALLY GIVES OFF AN AURA?!
