Lilligant @ Grassium Z / Normalium Z
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain / Energy Ball
- Hidden Power Fire / Hyper Beam

Originally a top-tier threat, Lilligant saw a decline in usage once the tier began to adapt to both it and Jynx by using Pokemon like Choice Scarf Swanna and Togedemaru, and it saw both a drop in competitive play and on the Viability Rankings. Recent changes in PU, including the banning of both Archeops and Magmortar, have left Lilligant in a far better position, now able to better abuse its deadly combination of Quiver Dance and Sleep Powder to set up and sweep weakened or unprepared teams. Along with being a dangerous sweeper, Lilligant is also hard to pin down in terms of what it's running, as both of its viable Z-Moves are capable of beating different checks; Breakneck Blitz breaks past foes such as Drampa and Pyroar, while Bloom Doom helps weaken Pokemon like Type: Null and allows Lilligant to run Hidden Power Fire for Ferroseed. Lilligant can also create free turns for teammates with Sleep Powder, switching out once it has put a foe to sleep. Although Lilligant is a fantastic sweeper, it struggles against fast Choice Scarf users like Pyroar, Swanna, and Togedemaru, so teammates such as Hitmonchan and Eelektross help break or weaken these Pokemon.

PU Leader
possibly mention that bnb allows lilligant to bypass pyroar without needing to boost multiple times.

mention the fact that hitmonchan and eelektross also check the listed choice scarf users pretty well. (ofc chan doesn't check swanna, but you get the point here.)
