Ever wondered what would happen if Incineroar was legal at the same time as Jirachi? How does bulky Mega Kangaskhan stand up if it's allowed simultaneously with Marshadow? Is Snorlax strong enough to warrant its 87% majority ban vote even in a metagame with increased threats? Because new Pokemon are released mid-generation, it's not always apparent how the metagame would have shaped up if all Pokemon were all legal simultaneously. "Like it Never Happened" explores these questions in tournament form.
SPECIFIC RULES
The following Pokemon are allowed:
Post in or swiggity swag, the game's in the bag in this thread to join the tournament. Signups will go until July 21st at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (GMT -4) or until we have 32 signups, whichever occurs first. After that, pairings for round one will be posted.

SPECIFIC RULES
- This tournament will be Single Elimination.
- Rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
- Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown! under the [Gen 7] Doubles Ubers format.
- Replays must be recorded. Any match win reported without replays will not count.
- Please don't cheat. There's nothing significant on the line here, so things like ghosting, signing up under multiple alts, or other forms of cheating will just make you look dumb, and you'll be disqualified.
- Activity calls will be made by me, potentially with neutral assistance from another Doubles forum moderator. Coin flips will be done on PS! via mono-Explosion battles.
- All standard SM DOU format rules apply, seen below, with the following exceptions:
Standard Rules and Clauses
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same Pokedex number on their team.
- Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned. (No other evasion boosting things are banned).
- OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
- Endless Battle Clause: Anything capable of intentionally creating an endless battle is banned.
