Kilowattrel is an essential component to Flying teams, providing an Electric immunity, pivot support, an excellent Speed tier that allows it to outspeed Choice Specs Greninja and Iron Valiant, and a range of hard-hitting attacks. With rain support, Thunder can be used as Kilowattrel's hard-hitting STAB attack to hit Pokemon—such as Toxapex—that Flying teams can struggle to take down. Thunderbolt is a fine substitute on Flying teams that do not utilize rain. Volt Switch allows Kilowattrel to pivot, making use of Kilowattrel's high Speed tier to get off damage while not being Choice locked. Hurricane couples with the preceding moves to cover Kilowattrel's STAB combination, specifically hitting Ground-types such as Quagsire and Gastrodon. The last slot depends on whether rain is being taken advantage of: on rain teams, Weather Ball can be used to hit Ground-types such as Unaware Clodsire, while Air Slash is another option for non-rain teams that can make up for Hurricane's lower accuracy. Choice Specs allows Kilowattrel to hit extremely hard, letting it OHKO Pokemon such as Azumarill with Volt Switch and Amoonguss with Hurricane. Volt Absorb provides the only Electric immunity for Flying-type teams.

Corviknight is one of Kilowattrel's greatest assets; beyond providing a neutral switch-in to Ice-type attacks—especially in the cases of Chien-Pao and Choice Scarf Greninja—Corviknight provides a physical wall that Kilowattrel can pivot into. It is also Flying's most common Defogger, which is essential, as Kilowattrel is susceptible to Stealth Rock damage, hindering its pivoting. Pelipper is very useful in supporting Kilowattrel, as rain support ensures accuracy of Kilowattrel's Thunder and Hurricane, and U-turn on Pelipper ensures safe pivoting. Talonflame is another defensive supporter, covering Kilowattrel's weakness to Ice-types and offering another Defogger. Dragonite hits the specially defensive walls that Kilowattrel struggles with such as Clodsire and Blissey. Gyarados finds great support from Kilowattrel; as Kilowattrel punches holes in defensive Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Toxapex, Gyarados will have a better chance to sweep late-game. While Kilowattrel has excellent Speed itself, Choice Scarf users such as Flamigo and Salamence can revenge kill Pokemon such as Dragapult and Flutter Mane that outspeed Kilowattrel. Bombirdier offers Stealth Rock support and uses Knock Off to remove key items such as Leftovers on Gastrodon, which puts it into 2HKO range of Hurricane after Stealth Rock damage.

Kilowattrel is an essential component to Flying-type teams, providing an Electric-type immunity, pivot support, and a range of hard hitting attacks. With rain support Thunder can be used as Kilowattrel's main hard hitting STAB Electric type to hit Pokemon such as Toxapex that flying teams can struggle to take down. Thunderbolt is a fine substitute on Flying-type teams that do not utilize weather. Volt Switch provides an excellent pivot, making use of Kilowattrel's high speed tier to get off damage while not forcing yourself to get stuck into the Choice Specs lock. Hurricane couples with the preceding moves to cover Kilowattrel's STAB combination, specifically hitting Ground-types such as Quagsire and Gastrodon. The last slot has a variety of options. On rain teams, Weather Ball can be used to hit Ground-types such as Unaware Clodsire. U-Turn provides a secondary pivot that can be used to ensure a safe switch out when the enemy team has a Ground-type to block Volt Switch. (U-Turn isnt that common so mentioning in that set isnt good, u can say it can be a good alternative to volt switch as u can safely pivot against Ground). Air Slash is another option for non rain teams that can make up for Hurricane's lower accuracy when the power increase is not needed. Choice Specs is Kilowattrel's best option, allowing it to hit extremely hard, even when pivoting out, and letting it OHKO Pokemon such as Azumarill with Volt Switch and Amoongus with Hurricane. Volt Absorb provides an invaluable Electric-type immunity for Flying-type teams that they cannot get elsewhere. Timid is used to ensure Kilowattrel can outspeed Choice Specs Greninja and Iron Valiant.

Beyond providing a neutral switch in to Ice-type attacks, especially in the case of Chien-Pao and Choice Scarf Greninja, Corviknight provides a defensive backbone that can be used to Volt Switch into. It also is Flying's most common Defog user; This is essential as Kilowattrel opts for Choice Specs, and its pivot ability is sorely hindered if Steath Rocks are up. (Combine in One sentence) Pelipper is very useful in supporting Kilowattrel as rain support ensures Kilowattrel's entire move pool will be fully accurate and U-Turn on Pelipper ensures safe pivoting. can complete a Volt-Turn core between the two. Talonflame is another defensive supporter which helps to cover Kilowattrel's weakness to Ice-types and offers another Defog option. Dragonite is able to hit the Specially Defensive walls that Kilowattrel struggles with such as Clodsire and Blissey. Gyarados finds great support from Kilowattrel; As Kilowattrel punches holes in defensive Pokemon such as Amoongus and Toxapex, Gyarados will have a better chance of being able to sweep late-game. While Kilowattrel has excellent Speed itself, Choice Scarf users such as Flamigo and Salamence can revenge Pokemon such as Dragapult or Flutter Mane that outspeed Kilowattrel. (U can also mention Bombardier for some hazard setter and able to remove key items thanks to its stab knock off)
