[SET COMMENTS]

Huge Power and STAB on both Fake Out and Extreme Speed make Regigigas an effective priority revenge killer. With its immense Attack, Pursuit and Extreme Speed combine to put foes in uncomfortable coinflip scenarios. Water Shuriken works in tandem with the Expert Belt to OHKO Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, as Primal Groudon deters Extreme Speed with its use of King's Shield. Silk Scarf may be used to OHKO bulky Mega Mewtwo X, all Mega Rayquaza variants, and Mega Gyarados with Extreme Speed. Gastro Acid allows Regigigas to pressure opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon and force switches. Spikes takes advantage of said switches, which often lets Regigigas set multiple layers over the course of the game. Taunt is an option to deny support options that Wonder Guard Pokemon may have, as they are common switch-ins to Regigigas. Safety Goggles blocks Spore, allowing Regigigas to come in safely and subject the opponent to more coinflip scenarios.

Huge Power Regigigas can work on a variety of teams due to its universal utility as a revenge killer, but it fits particularly well on offensive teams, since it can keep up pressure on the opponent. Regigigas appreciates Shadow Tag teammates such as Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Groudon, Lugia, and Arceus that can get rid of opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon, as once they are gone, there is little stopping it from steamrolling the opposing team. Mega Gyarados is also a huge help for Regigigas, as it can trap the Normal-immune Giratina with its devastatingly powerful Pursuit and threaten Primal Groudon with its own Water Shuriken. Aromatherapy users like Primal Kyogre and Blissey are also greatly appreciated, removing potential burns that would greatly hinder Regigigas's effectiveness. Blissey in particular can work well, as Regigigas also enjoys its Wish. Choice-locked Mold Breaker users like Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon can threaten opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon, such as Primal Kyogre and Mega Audino, for immense damage or an OHKO after Regigigas's Spikes.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Regigigas can use other priority moves, such as Shadow Sneak for Mega Gengar, Water Shuriken for Primal Groudon, and Bullet Punch for Mega Diancie. However, without Huge Power, Water Shuriken needs to hit all 5 times to OHKO Primal Groudon with a Defense drop, and Shadow Sheak requires Life Orb to always OHKO opposing Mega Gengar after a Shell Smash, making these moves generally not worth running on a Regigigas with Shadow Tag. A set with Encore and Perish Song can be used on Shadow Tag Regigigas over Bullet Punch and Spikes in order to trap passive Wonder Guard users without Shed Shell as well as opposing sweepers running King's Shield that are locked into the move, but the utility of Spikes and Bullet Punch are usually not worth forgoing. Other entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Sticky Web can also be used in the place of Spikes, but Regigigas's ability to set multiple layers means Spikes is usually preferred. Other coverage options like Sacred Fire, Gear Grind, Low Kick, and Petal Blizzard can be used on both Huge Power and Shadow Tag Regigigas to hit Mega Beedrill, Mega Scizor, Xerneas, Mega Audino, Arceus, Slaking, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Swampert, but they generally aren't worth sacrificing a listed move for due to their matchup reliance. Fusion Bolt can be used over Petal Blizzard on Huge Power sets to always OHKO physically defensive Primal Kyogre at the cost of not affecting Primal Groudon and Mega Swampert. Recover is another option for the fourth moveslot, allowing Regigigas to heal off chip from entry hazards. Spore can disrupt the opponent's team. Mach Punch can be used to OHKO Mega Tyranitar after a Shell Smash if Regigigas runs Huge Power, and Bullet Punch does the same for Mega Diancie. Shed Shell is an option to escape opposing Shadow Tag users if Regigigas uses Huge Power. Lum Berry cures status once, most notably burn and sleep.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Wonder Guard**: Normal is not super effective against any type, so all Wonder Guard users can come in freely on Regigigas's Fake Out or Extreme Speed and can usually heal or set entry hazards in front of it. However, they need to be wary of Gastro Acid + Pursuit on Huge Power Regigigas, and those lacking Shed Shell that underspeed Shadow Tag Regigigas, like Substitute + Baton Pass Xerneas and Safety Goggles Primal Kyogre, fear the uncommon Encore and Perish Song set.

**Giratina**: Giratina is not threatened by any of Regigigas's moves and is unable to be trapped due to its Ghost typing, allowing it to threaten Regigigas with crippling status moves or force it to switch. Magic Bounce sets can also prevent Regigigas from setting entry hazards, completely shutting it down. Giratina is weak to Pursuit from Huge Power Regigigas, but without switching Giratina is not threatened by it.

**Normal-immune or Resistant Pokemon**: Pokemon are immune or resistant to Normal such as Mega Gengar, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga can't be effectively revenge killed by Regigigas and can set up on it.

**King's Shield Users**: By using King's Shield against moves like Fake Out or Extreme Speed, Pokemon like Mold Breaker Primal Groudon, Mold Breaker Xerneas, and Shadow Tag Lugia can easily withstand Regigigas's next attack and make it much less effective.

**Imposter Users**: Users of Imposter such as Blissey and Chansey can turn the tables on Regigigas, inflicting its own Extreme Speed + Pursuit coinflip scenario on it.

**Shed Shell Users**: Pokemon holding Shed Shell avoid being trapped by Shadow Tag Regigigas, removing its main niche and allowing them to freely switch to a Pokemon that can beat it. However, these Pokemon must be wary of getting their item removed by one of Regigigas's teammates.

Regigigas's high attack when boosted by Huge Power and STAB on both Fake Out and Extreme Speed make it an effective priority revenge killer. Due to this, Pursuit is used to put the opponent in an uncomfortable coinflip scenarios, either being killed by a powerful Extreme Speed or taking immense damage from a Huge Power-boosted Pursuit. Water Shuriken works in tandem with the Expert Belt to OHKO Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, as Regigigas is unable to effectively use Extreme Speed to revenge kill it due to its use of King's Shield. Silk Scarf may be used to OHKO bulky Mega Mewtwo X, all Mega Rayquaza variants, and Mega Gyarados with Extreme Speed. Gastro Acid's ability suppression makes Regigigas able to pressure opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon and force switches. Spikes takes advantage of said switches, often allowing Regigigas to get up multiple layers over the course of the game. Taunt is an option that is used to deny support options that Wonder Guard Pokemon may have, as they are common switch-ins to Regigigas. Safety Goggles is ran to block opposing Spores, allowing Regigigas to come in safely and subject the opponent to more coinflip scenarios. Expert Belt is used mainly for the OHKO on boosted Primal Groudon, but can boost the power of Pursuit, Gear Grind, and Bolt Strike and other coverage options (Seems odd to explicitly mention moves outside the main set here) in certain situations.

Huge Power Regigigas typically can work on a variety of teams, due to its all-around utility as a revenge killer, but it fits particularly well on offensively-oriented teams, due to its ability to keep up pressure on the opponent. Regigigas appreciates Shadow Tag teammates such as Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Groudon, and Lugia that can get rid of opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon, as once they are gone there is little stopping it from steamrolling the rest of the opposing team. Aromatherapy users like Primal Kyogre and Blissey are also greatly appreciated, being able to remove potential burns that would greatly hinder Regigigas's effectiveness. Blissey in particular can work well, as Regigigas also enjoys the Wishes it offers. Choice-locked Mold Breakers like Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon are also good teammates for Regigigas, being able to threaten opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon for immense damage or an OHKO after Regigigas's Spikes.

Regigigas can opt to run Shadow Sneak in order to hit OHKO Mega Gengar to OHKO it before and after it uses Shell Smash. King's Shield could also be used to prevent being trapped by the likes of Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and Primal Groudon. Other coverage options like Sacred Fire, Gunk Shot, (A coverage move for Xerneas/Mega Audino is important enough to mention) Low Kick, and Petal Blizzard can be used to hit Mega Beedrill, Mega Scizor, Xerneas, Mega Audino, Arceus, Slaking, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Swampert, but generally aren't worth the sacrifice of Pursuit, Water Shuriken, or various utility moves. Fusion Bolt can be used over Petal Blizzard to always OHKO physically defensive Primal Kyogre at the cost of Primal Groudon and Mega Swampert being immune. Parting Shot could also be used to gain momentum against the many switches that Regigigas forces. Spore can be used for similar reasons, but to disrupt the opponent's team rather than gain momentum against it. Mach Punch can be used to OHKO Mega Tyranitar after a Shell Smash, and Bullet Punch does the same for Mega Diancie.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Wonder Guard**: Normal is not super effective on any type, so all Wonder Guard users can come in freely on Regigigas's Fake Out or Extreme Speed with little consequence. They need to be wary of the combination of Gastro Acid + Pursuit or potential coverage moves that Regigigas can run, however.

**Giratina**: Because Giratina is immune to Regigigas's STAB attacks, and can easily use Encore to lock Regigigas into those moves. This gives Giratina a free Curse, Will-O-Wisp, Glare, or Recover, and is a huge loss of momentum

**Mega Gengar, Dialga, and Mega Tyranitar**: Mega Gengar's Ghost typing makes it immune to Regigigas's STAB, making it unable to effectively revenge kill the terrifying sweeper, as Water Shuriken is not a reliable OHKO unless it gets four hits. Dialga and Mega Tyranitar are similar because they resist Regigigas's STAB moves, and are not reliably revenge killed by anything else it has either.

**King's Shield Users**: By activating King's Shield with moves like Fake Out or Extreme Speed, Pokemon like Mold Breaker Primal Groudon, Mold Breaker Xerneas, and Shadow Tag Lugia can easily withstand Regigigas's next attack and take away a large part of its utility in the process.

**Imposter Users**: Users of Imposter such as Blissey and Chansey will be able to turn the tables on Regigigas, inflicting the Colossal Pokemon's own coinflip scenario on itself. It is at risk of taking huge damage from Extreme Speed if it stays in and Pursuit if it switches out, leading to some uncomfortable mind games.

This looks really good overall and emphasizes Regigigas's main role atm. Sad to acknowledge the improof Mold Breaker set not being relevant anymore.

I mostly want to suggest other options as Groudon while it is in A1 is no longer S tier and its usage has dropped a tiny bit. As well as the fire-weak Wonderguards that only I run are also relatively rare. If they go up in usage perhaps Water shuriken is a better option. It can stay the main set but I would suggest other attacks or at minimum adding gastro or spikes to slot 4 as water shuriken feels rather specific IMO. )

Expert Belt is used mainly for the OHKO on boosted Primal Groudon, but can boost the power of Pursuit in certain situations. But you get the OHKO even before smash with belt unless you only get 2 hits with Water Shuriken. I suppose 2 hits is what your afraid of still it seems weird to word it this way. maybe mention hit count like u need 3 hits before smash and only 2 hits after?

Huge Power Regigigas typically can work on a variety of teams, due to its all-around utility as a revenge killer, but it fits particularly well on offensively-oriented teams, due to its ability to keep up pressure on the opponent. Regigigas appreciates Shadow Tag teammates such as Mega Mewtwo X, Primal Groudon, and Lugia Arceus could also be a potential mention here as it's faster and has good enough bulk to work similar to Lugia. that can get rid of opposing Wonder Guard Pokemon, as once they are gone there is little stopping it from steamrolling the rest of the opposing team. Regigigas can opt to run Shadow Sneak in order to OHKO Mega Gengar. King's Shield could also be used to prevent being trapped by the likes of Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and Primal Groudon. If these are that scary just run a shed shell instead of sacking another coverage gastro spikes etc. Also, an option is to just have shed shell on the main set. Other coverage options like Sacred Fire, Gear Grind, Low Kick, and Petal Blizzard can be used to hit Mega Beedrill, Mega Scizor, Xerneas, Mega Audino, Arceus, Slaking, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Swampert, but generally aren't worth the sacrifice of Pursuit, Water Shuriken, or various utility moves. Fusion Bolt can be used over Petal Blizzard to always OHKO physically defensive Primal Kyogre at the cost of Primal Groudon and Mega Swampert being immune. Parting Shot could also be used to gain momentum against the many switches that Regigigas forces. IMO parting shot seems overly fringe and almost always would rather run a utility or another coverage Spore can be used for similar reasons, but to disrupt the opponent's team rather than gain momentum against it. Mach Punch can be used to OHKO Mega Tyranitar after a Shell Smash, and Bullet Punch does the same for Mega Diancie. If shed shell is not the main set at lest add it here as you mentioned stag and IMO is a good item for that. Add lum berry as well here to avoid burns paras and other statuses. Personally would almost always run Lum over Goggles but situational and up to you either way it's at lest good enough to be put here.

Will stamp after changes.
Implemented, but I decided to keep Water Shuriken as the first option for slot 4. King's Shield Primal Groudon is still a big threat in the meta, and Regigigas is unable to revenge kill it otherwise, which is kind of its whole job. Let me know if this is something we should talk about more.
