How to make a 2v2 doubles format with custom rules?

Hello! my friends and I wanted to do "multi battles" or "free for all" but showdown will only allow gen 9 pokemon.

Is there a way to play a multi battle/2v2 doubles/free for all but with the custom rules format (essentially combining the 2 formats together)? this is because i am using CAP, different abilities on original pokemon, all pokemon from all generations, etc.

if you mean a "team battle" or free for all custom, no. You'd have to host your own server.
