[SET COMMENTS]
Hatterene is a bulky Calm Mind user on Psychic teams that massively threatens types such as Dark and Dragon, and it disrupts offensive archetypes such as rain Water, Ice, and Electric that Psychic teams may struggle to keep up against. Additionally, thanks to Magic Bounce, it can deter entry hazards for Psychic teams, which otherwise have poor entry hazard control. Psyshock hits special walls such as Galarian Slowking and Dragalge hard, while Psychic lets Hatterene pressure Toxapex better. Draining Kiss allows Hatterene to hit Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Galarian Moltres and Kyurem hard. Additionally, it provides Hatterene with recovery, making it harder to revenge kill. Trick Room takes advantage of its naturally low Speed. Calm Mind + Trick Room allows Hatterene to very easily take on teams that are weak to its STAB attacks, and it can flip the matchups against Electric and rain Water teams, which typically rely on their high Speed. The EVs and a Relaxed nature make it as slow as possible for Trick Room. Leftovers helps Hatterene set up.

Hatterene's teammates appreciate it both deterring entry hazards and soft checking Dark-type Pokemon. As Hatterene is walled by Steel-types such as Aegislash and Ferrothorn, Victini, a teammate that pressures both, is a great choice. Victini also loves Hatterene keeping Stealth Rock off the field, allowing it to preserve its health to wallbreak with a Choice Band set. Slowbro is a fantastic defensive pivot that can provide Psychic teams breathing room against threats such as Choice Scarf Excadrill, Mamoswine, and Weavile. Slowbro also generates momentum for the team through Teleport, safely bringing in a teammate while regaining health thanks to Regenerator. Choice Scarf Tapu Lele forms an offensive core with Hatterene and cleans up types such as Dragon and Dark once Hatterene has worn down or eliminated Dragalge or Tyranitar, for example. Choice Scarf Jirachi can take on Fairy- and Ice-type Pokemon that can threaten Hatterene, such as opposing Hatterene and Galarian Darmanitan, with Iron Head. Jirachi can also provide Hatterene with a new lease on life through Healing Wish or pivot it in safely with U-turn. Galarian Slowking absorbs Toxic Spikes for Hatterene, which is especially useful because Hatterene is unlikely to switch into common setters like Dragalge, and is a decent specially defensive wall that keeps threats such as specially defensive Aegislash and Heatran at bay. Choice Scarf Latias picks off fast threats such as Choice Scarf Blacephalon, non-Choice Scarf Dragapult, and Choice Scarf Zarude and provides Healing Wish support. Stallbreaker Mew with a Kasib Berry can cripple physical attackers such as Zeraora and Tyranitar with Will-O-Wisp, lure in and remove Blacephalon and Dragapult with Knock Off, and get rid of bulky Pokemon's Leftovers with Knock Off, allowing Hatterene to sweep more easily.

36 Special Defense EVs let Hatterene not get OHKOed by Hydreigon's Dark Pulse at +2 and threaten to OHKO it back with Draining Kiss. Giga Drain or Mystical Fire may be used over Trick Room, as this lets Hatterene lure in and weaken Gastrodon or Aegislash, but Hatterene without Trick Room is easily revenge killed.

Hatterene is a bulky Calm Mind user on Psychic teams that massively helps on otherwise difficult matchups threatens types such as Dark and Dragon, and disrupts offensive archetypes such as Rain Water, Ice, and Electric that Psychic teams may struggle to keep up against. (i think it's debatable whether psychic actually struggles against those without hatt cause you have lele too) Additionally, thanks to Magic Bounce, it can act as a hazard control deterrent for Psychic teams, which otherwise have poor entry hazard control. Calm Mind turns Hatterene into a dangerous special attacker and lets Hatterene deal with threats such as Galarian Moltres and Hydreigon better. (seems self explanatory) Psyshock hits special walls such as Galarian Slowking and Dragalge hard, while Psychic lets Hatterene pressure Toxapex better. Draining Kiss allows Hatterene to hit Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Galarian Moltres and Kyurem for super effective damage. Additionally, it provides Hatterene with a form of recovery, making it harder to revenge-kill. Trick Room allows Hatterene to take advantage of its lower natural Speed. Calm Mind and Trick Room together allow Hatterene to very easily take on teams that are weak to its STAB attacks and can flip the matchups against Electric and Rain Water teams, which typically rely on their high speed. The EVs and a Relaxed nature maximize Hatterene's physical bulk, make it as slow as possible for Trick Room, and allowing it to withstand physical attacks while setting up Calm Mind. Leftovers provide Hatterene with a form of passive recovery, which is useful for helping set up Trick Room.

All of Hatterene's teammates appreciate its ability to act as a form of entry hazard control and act as a soft check to Dark-type Pokemon. As Hatterene is walled by Steel-types such as Aegislash and Ferrothorn, Victini, a team mate that pressures the aforementioned Pokemon is a great choice. Victini also loves Hatterene's ability to keep Stealth Rock off the field, allowing it to preserve its health to wallbreak with a Choice Band set. Slowbro is a fantastic defensive pivot that can provide Psychic teams breathing room against threats such as Choice Scarf Excadrill, Mamoswine, and Weavile. Slowbro also generates momentum for the team through Teleport, allowing it to safely bring in a teammate while regaining health thanks to Regenerator. Choice Scarf Tapu Lele forms an offensive core with Hatterene and cleans up types such as Dragon and Dark once Hatterene has worn down or eliminated Tyrantitar or Dragalge. It also provides Psychic Terrain, which helps in matchups such as Grass and Electric as it weakens Rillaboom and Regieleki, and shuts down priority users such as Azumarill which makes Hatterene uncontested when under Trick Room. Choice Scarf Jirachi can take on Fairy- and Ice-type Pokemon that are capable of threatening Hatterene, such as opposing Hatterene and Galarian Darmanitan, with Iron Head. Jirachi can also provide Hatterene with a second chance through Healing Wish or pivot it in safely with U-turn. Galarian Slowking absorbs Toxic Spikes for Hatterene, which is especially useful as Hatterene is unlikely to switch in against Dragalge, and is a decent specially defensive wall that keeps threats such as specially defensive Aegislash and Heatran at bay. Choice Scarf Latias picks off fast threats such as Choice Scarf Blacephalon, non-Choice Scarf Dragapult, and Choice Scarf Zarude, and provides Healing Wish support. Alakazam can act as an emergency check against threats such as Bisharp, Galarian Moltres, and Volcarona thanks to Magic Guard and a Focus Sash. Stallbreaker Mew with a Kasib Berry can cripple physical attackers such as Zeraora and Tyranitar with Will-O-Wisp, lure and remove Blacephalon and Dragapult, and get rid of Leftovers from bulkier Pokemon with Knock Off, allowing Hatterene to sweep more easily. Celebi can set Stealth Rock for Psychic teams as well as act as a resistance to Water-, Ground-, and Electric-type Pokemon such as Seismitoad and Alolan Raichu. Celebi can also provide more utility for Hatterene by either spreading paralysis with Thunder Wave or supporting it with Healing Wish and U-turn. Indeedee is a niche team mate that provides a Ghost-type immunity to help against Spectrier and can set up Psychic Terrain which allows it to act as a nuke with Expanding Force.

just cutting less necessary stuff cause the paragraph is very long

Hatterene may run 52 Speed EVs to outpace and threaten Toxapex and Dragalge out of Trick Room. However, this investment can backfire in case that these Pokemon come into Hatterene while Trick Room is active as Dragalge will win against Hatterene if Gunk Shot connects. (idk this does not seem worth it) 36 Special Defense EVs lets Hatterene not get OHKO'ed by Hydreigon's Dark Pulse at +2 and threaten to OHKO it back with Draining Kiss. However, the reduced Defense can be notable. (i mean it's just 36 evs)
you can add giga drain / mystical fire as coverage moves that are alternatives to trick room to surprise ground / steel teams
