Gloves for gaming?

I've always had somewhat sweaty palms, but it never really bothered me that much until recently. Apparently 'gaming gloves' only come with one glove (mainly because it's just for the right/mouse hand), so I've been thinking of either using weight-lifting or bike gloves. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with wearing gloves while gaming (and am hoping this doesn't sound weird or in the wrong area).

I usually just try to hold my controller as loosely as possible to avoid getting sweaty palms.

I've been wondering if I should invest in some as well...my little wireless mouse's rubber skin has deteriorated quite a bit, presumably because I either hold it too hard or have the whole sweaty palms thing (though they never seemed that sweaty to me).

I'd think just something lightweight and basic would suffice though, something to absorb moisture and let your hand breathe still at the same time...geez, that sounds like an infomercial for a sock for some reason lol.
