Gliscor is a great addition to Flying teams, as its part-Ground typing allows it to be a useful asset in the Electric and Rock matchups, threatening the likes of Magnezone, Zeraora, and Hisuian Arcanine. Knock Off removes important items from their holders such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Volcarona, Tornadus-T, and Dragonite and Leftovers from Corviknight. Taunt shuts down entry hazard attempts, as well as attempts to remove its teammates' hazards with Defog. Roost grants Gliscor a form of longevity on top of Poison Heal. 244 HP and 20 Defense EVs allow it to survive a V-Create from Choice Band Victini, while 8 Speed EVs outspeed Modest Raging Bolt. Corviknight and Mantine remove hazards with Defog so Gliscor can switch in more safely. Additionally, Corviknight provides slow pivoting and threatens Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Mega Diancie, while Mantine handles Water-types like Barraskewda and Mega Swampert. Thundurus-T makes for a great partner, as it takes pressure off from Gliscor as an Electric immunity, and with its coverage, it threatens Water- and Flying-types such as Urshifu-R, Swampert, Mantine, and Corviknight. It appreciates Gliscor removing Clodsire and blocking entry hazard setup with Taunt. Late-game sweepers such as Mega Charizard Y and Galarian Moltres appreciate Gliscor's stallbreaking being great against Toxapex, Clodsire, and Heatran so they can start their own sweep. In return, Mega Charizard Y handles Ferrothorn, Gastrodon, and Alolan Ninetales, while Galarian Moltres handles Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Gholdengo, Ceruledge, and Slowbro.
