Main issues comes from one-dimensionality, bad typing + bulk, and competition from other HO leads because it doesn't have Rocks.

Paragraph 2: Always lead unless you think the opposing lead beats Glalie; in that case, save Glalie until you know you can get at least one layer of Spikes up. Partners are pretty much any offensive mon, but stuff like Monferno and Simipour are the best. Spinblockers might be good but PU doesn't have many good offensive ones.

**Opposing Leads**: Despite having access to Taunt, Glalie dislike opposing leads like Dweeble and Rampardos, as they often pack a move that can break Glalie's Focus Sash. This causes mindgames between Glalie using Taunt and Glalie using Spikes; having entry hazards on Glalie's side can spell doom for offensive teams, but a lack of entry hazards on the opposing side make it harder for Glalie's team to pressure the opposing team.
