Gholdengo [QC 1/2] [GP 0/1]

[SET]
name: Weakness Policy
move 1: Reflect
move 2: Make It Rain
move 3: Recover
move 4: Metal Sound / Nasty Plot
item: Weakness Policy
ability: Good as Gold
nature: Bold
evs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
*Gholdengo can run a very effective Reflect Weakness Policy set, due to Good as Gold, blocking status moves such as Taunt and Encore, and it's typing, which is weak to common coverage moves like Earthquake, activating Weakness Policy.
*Reflect + Weakness Policy allows Gholdengo to beat Annihilape, Iron Hands and Ting-Lu.
*Recover allows Gholdengo to heal itself up to a safe range behind a Reflect, allowing Gholdengo to setup and beat things that threaten it with their damage output.
*Metal Sound helps Gholdengo beat Dondozo. If you aren't concerned about Dondozo however, Nasty Plot is recommended as it cannot miss.
*The Speed EV's allow Gholdengo to outspeed Jolly Ting-Lu and the remaining EV's are put in Defense along with a Bold nature to maximise Gholdengo's odds of surviving Knock Off from Adamant Choice Band Meowscarada.
*Gholdengo should use Reflect turn 1 against Physical Attackers that are slower or can't 2HKO it. You should always use Make It Rain turn 1 against things that are OKHO'd after Weakness Policy activates, such as Meowscarada and Garchomp.

[SET]
name: Choice-locked Attacker
move 1: Make It Rain
move 2: Shadow Ball
move 3: Focus Blast / Thunder / Psyshock / Dazzling Gleam / Trick / Fling
move 4: Thunder / Focus Blast / Psyshock / Dazzling Gleam / Trick / Fling
item: Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
ability: Good as Gold
nature: Modest / Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
*Make It Rain is Gholdengo's strongest stab, picking up OKHO's and 2HKO's on most Super-Effective and neutral targets
*Shadow Ball is a reliable Ghost-Type move and completes Gholdengo's strong neutral coverage.
*Focus Blast is used for more reliability versus tyranitar and allows gholdengo to beat some Chi-Yu
*Thunder is used for Azumarill and some Dondozo
*Psyshock is for a better Iron Hands matchup, Allows Specs to beat Goodra and lets Modest Scarf beat Iron Moth. Dazzling Gleam is for Roaring Moon and Hydreigon, Trick beats stall Pokemon.
*If running specs, you can use an alternate spread of 216 HP / 56 SpA / 236 Spe EV's with a Modest nature and Thunderbolt. This spread bulks Adamant Choice Band Dondozo Earthquake and Modest Choice Specs Iron Bundle Hydro Pump and outspeeds max Speed base 70's.

*Reflect + (remove extra space in between * and Reflect)Weakness Policy allows Gholdengo to beat Annihilape, Iron Hands and Ting-Lu. 1-2 bullets on moves / items / abilities if they’re not self-explanatory, no need to explain if not
*Recover allows Gholdengo to heal itself up to a safe range behind a Reflect, allowing Gholdengo to beat things that threaten it with their damage output. (maybe mention allowing it to setup here?)
*Metal Sound is used over Nasty Plot as it helps Gholdengo to beat Dondozo, as it bypasses Unaware. If you aren't concerned about Dondozo however, Nasty Plot is recommended as it cannot miss.
*The Speed EV's allow Gholdengo to outspeed max speed Jolly Ting-Lu, (ac) (use max speed when it can run both jolly or timid eg. ss steela) and The HP and Defense remaining EV's are put in Defense along with a Bold nature to maximise Gholdengo's odds of beating Adamant Choice Band Meowscarada. surviving Knock Off from Adamant Choice Band Meowscarada.
*Gholdengo should use Reflect turn 1 against Physical Attackers that are slower or can't 2HKO it. You should always use Make It Rain t1 turn 1 against things that are OKHO'd after Weakness Policy activates, such as Meowscarada and Garchomp.

*Shadow Ball is a reliable Ghost-type move and completes Gholdengo's strong neutral coverage.
*Focus Blast hits Dark-Types like Ting-Lu and Kingambit (mention reliability, better examples, ting lu you are not winning and kingambit is meh as an example (comp runs sucker only))
*Thunder is used for Azumarill and some Dondozo.
*Psyshock is for a better Iron Hands matchup, (ac) and lets Modest Scarf Gholdengo beat Iron Moth,(goodra? clodsire?). Dazzling Gleam on Choice Scarf Gholdengo is for Roaring Moon and Hydreigon (use only on scarf), while Trick beats stall Pokemon. (such as?)

*Metal Sound helps Gholdengo beat Dondozo. If you aren't concerned about Dondozo however, Nasty Plot is recommended as it cannot miss. (Maybe mention clear amulet here due to it being notable and beating metal sound gholdengo?) (You could also mention Nasty Plot not working on Unaware Dondozo as Oblivious and Water Veil are somewhat notable and that can make it easier to understand.) this is a good change

(Assault Vest Iron Moth is relevant, calcs below) no it is not but specifying specs is ok Dazzling Gleam is for Roaring Moon and Hydreigon maybe find a way to specify that this is more reliable with scarf, Trick beats stall Pokemon.
