Pet Mod Generation X (Region 2 - Completed, Playtesting)

No one of the Starter Movepools submissions included an exclusive move. Do we want them?

  • Make the submitters of the winning movepools suggest the exclusive moves (they won't be voted)

  • Make a slate overlapped with the next one to decide them

  • We don't need exclusive moves, not all starters had them

Results are only viewable after voting.

Gift Explanation: These Pokemon would be given out in a similar way to the Unovan Elemental Monkeys, being an early game team member to help you with poor matchups. However, these Pokemon would be given to you to promote type diversity on your teams and, in the case of two of the monkeys, introduce to rare types very early on. The monkeys have the types of the only other type triangle (afaik) other than Grass/Fire/Water where each type is weak to one type, resists one type, is super effective against a type, and is resisted by a type (not counting immunities), being Rock/Fighting/Flying. The overall flavor for the Lorian Monkeys is being based on a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys that goes "Hear, See, Speak only good", essentially the opposite version of what the Unovan Monkeys are based on. Each final evolution of the Unova Monkeys failed to follow the advice of the Wise Monkeys, while the Lorian Monkeys are successfully able to follow the advice of the variation. Each one has Oblivious as their primary ability because they are now oblivious to evil. Picking the Grass Starter gives you the Rock-type Pansage, Fire gives you the Fighting-type Pansear, and Water gives you the Flying-type Panpour
:sm/pansage:
Name: Lorian Pansage
Evolution: Evolves into Simisand when exposed to a Shiny Stone
Counterpart(s): Pansear-Loria, Panpour-Loria
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Sand Stream
Base Stats: 50 / 53 / 48 / 53 / 48 / 64 (316 BST)
Height: 0.6 m
Weight: 10.5 kg
Notable Moves: Pansage's movepool (except for Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Leech Seed, Spiky Shield, Synthesis, Bullet Seed, Grass Pledge, Grass Whistle, Magical Leaf, Vine Whip, Worry Seed, Uproar, Gastro Acid, Toxic, and Gunk Shot) + Entrainment, Power Gem, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Sandstorm, Smack Down, Stealth Rock, Meteor Beam, Bulldoze, Rototiller, Sand-Attack, Sand Tomb, Earth Power, Echoed Voice, Extrasensory, Calm Mind, Zen Headbutt
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Pansage line represents "Speak No Evil", so Lorian Pansage line is "Speak Only Good."
Potential Competitive Role: Sand Stream in LC is interesting, but Hippopotas does it better I fear

Name: Simisand
Counterpart(s): Simismash, Simisoar
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Sand Stream
Base Stats: 75 / 93 / 63 / 93 / 63 / 111 (498 BST)
Height: 1.1 m
Weight: 30.5 kg
Notable Moves: Pansage-Loria's movepool + Earthquake, Focus Blast, Stone Edge, Rock Polish, Ancient Power, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Pansage line represents "Speak No Evil", so Lorian Pansage line is "Speak Only Good." Simisand always has its mouth open with a wide smile.
Potential Competitive Role: Should be a very neat sweeper in lower tiers. It's a rare Rock-type that's fast and can go Special, with great Special coverage in Focus Blast and Earth Power plus Meteor Beam and Nasty Plot to set up. It's also not too shabby on the Physical side, with EdgeQuake coverage and Knock Off to help. While not the fastest low tier Rock-type, that honor being Lycanroc's, it should still be a decent pick if you need a fast Rock-type down there
:sm/pansear:
Name: Lorian Pansear
Evolution: Evolves into Simismash when exposed to a Moon Stone
Counterpart(s): Pansage-Loria, Panpour-Loria
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Scrappy
Base Stats: 50 / 53 / 48 / 53 / 48 / 64 (316 BST)
Height: 0.6 m
Weight: 11 kg
Notable Moves: Pansear's movepool (except for Fire Blast, Fire Punch, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Pledge, Fire Spin, Flame Burst, Incinerate, Sunny Day, Uproar, Gastro Acid, Toxic, and Gunk Shot) + Entrainment, Aura Sphere, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Close Combat, Counter, Detect, Drain Punch, Karate Chop, Power-Up Punch, Revenge, Reversal, Bullet Punch, Dual Chop, Echoed Voice, Extrasensory, Calm Mind, Zen Headbutt
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Pansear line represents "Hear No Evil", so Lorian Pansear line is "Hear Only Good."
Potential Competitive Role: use galarian farfetch'd unless you really want a nasty plot fighting-type

Name: Simismash
Counterpart(s): Simisand, Simisoar
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Scrappy
Base Stats: 75 / 108 / 63 / 88 / 63 / 101 (498 BST)
Height: 1 m
Weight: 28 kg
Notable Moves: Pansear-Loria's movepool + Focus Blast, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Superpower, Iron Head, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Pansage line represents "Hear No Evil", so Lorian Pansage line is "Hear Only Good." Simismash's ears are even larger than Simisears and it often gestures to them as if you said something that it wants you to repeat.
Potential Competitive Role: It's a fast and fairly strong Scrappy Fighting-type, which would probably catapult it up a couple tiers because of how insanely good Scrappy is for Fighting-types. If we were to fully flesh out tiering for this mod, I could see this landing in NU or PUBL (in a NatDex context), though it would have to compete with fellow Fighting primates Primeape and Passimian
:sm/panpour:
Name: Lorian Panpour
Evolution: Evolves into Simisoar when exposed to a Sun Stone
Counterpart(s): Pansage-Loria, Pansear-Loria
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Aerilate
Base Stats: 50 / 53 / 48 / 53 / 48 / 64 (316 BST)
Height: 0.6 m
Weight: 13.5 kg
Notable Moves: Panpour's movepool (except for Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Aqua Ring, Brine, Dive, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Water Pledge, Water Pulse, Water Sport, Hail, Uproar, Gastro Acid, Toxic, and Gunk Shot) + Entrainment, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Bounce, Defog, Fly, Gust, Hurricane, Weather Ball, Whirlwind, Razor Wind, Ominous Wind, Twister, Solar Beam, Echoed Voice, Extrasensory, Calm Mind, Zen Headbutt
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Panpour line represents "See No Evil", so Lorian Panpour line is "See Only Good."
Potential Competitive Role: Very unique but its stats are probably too low for it to do anything

Name: Simisoar
Counterpart(s): Simisand, Simismash
Typing:

Abilities: Oblivious / Aerilate
Base Stats: 75 / 88 / 63 / 108 / 63 / 101 (498 BST)
Height: 1 m
Weight: 29 kg
Notable Moves: Panpour-Loria's movepool + Laser Focus, Lock-On, Baby-Doll Eyes, Foresight, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact
Flavor/Design: Based on a monkey and a variation of the Three Wise Monkeys. The Unovan Panpour line represents "See No Evil", so Lorian Panpour line is "See Only Good." Simisoar's eyes are always open, though its pupils are very small compared to the other Simis.
Potential Competitive Role: Might be the best one competitively, as Aerilate Hyper Voices are gonna hit hard after a Nasty Plot, it has great coverage in Focus Blast and Ice Beam, has a great Special Attack stat, and Flying is probably the best standalone typing between it, Rock, and Fighting. Kinda like a baby version of Tornadus.

Name: Pupprou
Evolution: Evolves intro Furfrou after being groomed at Max Happiness
Counterpart(s): None
Typing: Normal
Abilities: Fur Coat
Base Stats: 50 / 40 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 80 (300)
Height: N/A
Weight: .1 Kg
Notable Moves: Furfrou’s movepool minus All none-normal moves
Flavor/Design: Designed to be a puppy version of furfrou you obtain as an egg from an npc as a gift in a place where you can groom your pokemon. I forgot what those places where called but its been a while since we had that feature in a game so I felt it would be nice to incorporate that here.
Potential Competitive Role: N/A

Name: Poodeblouir Poodle + Dazzle in french
Evolution: Evolves from furfrou using a shiny stone
Counterpart(s): None
Typing: Normal/Fairy
Abilities: Fur Coat
Base Stats: 80 /100 / 60 / 75 / 90 / 115 (530)
Height: N/A
Weight: 31.7 Kg (average weight of a poodle)
Notable Moves: Furfrou movepool+Play rough, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Misty explosion, Taunt, Flash, Heal bell, Trick, Flare blitz
Flavor/Design: This pokemon’s fur is so bright it is said that its trainer’s have to wear protective glasses to avoid blindness.
Potential Competitive Role: Offensive and defensive pivot with a great speed tier and decent support movepool.

Name: Poodeblouir-mega
Mega Stone: Poodeite
Typing: Fire/Fairy
Ability: Refractor-This pokemon’s attacks use defense as atk in damage calculation.
Base Stats: 80 / 110 / 120 / 95 / 100 / 115 (630)
Height: N/A
Weight: Same as base form
Flavor/Design: This pokemon uses light when attacking and defending itself. It shines so bright that opponents have a hard time defending against it.
Potential Competitive Role: Setup sweeper(cotton guard)

I present you with the results!
Lorian Elemental Monkeys - 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 11
Revetten - 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 6
Pupprou - 1 + 2 + 3 + 3 = 9
Lorian Eevee - 3 + 2 = 5

Looks like we'll be gifting Loria with the Lorian Elemental Monkeys!

Now for what could be the very last new Pokémon slate!
--------------------------------------------------------

- Pseudo Legendary and Minor Legendaries -
:sm/dragonite::sm/dragapult::sm/zapdos::sm/tapu fini:
This slate focuses on some of the most powerful Pokémon you'll find in any region: Pseudo and Minor Legendaries. Pseudo Legendaries are 3 stage evolutionary lines whose last stage has a whopping 600 BST, a usually deep movepool, and the typing and/or abilities it needs to be a force to be reckoned with competitively. These Pokémon tend to be late game rewards for grinding up a weak Pokémon, or tough Pokémon for Champions or rivals to stomp the player with.
On the other hand, Minor Legendaries are exactly what the name suggests, Legendary Pokémon that have a strong, flavorful connection to the region, but as not quite as powerful as box legendaries. These Pokémon come in all shapes and sizes and are obtained in all sorts of ways, usually being a nice lategame challenge that gives the player one of the best Pokémon in the game (unless you get it for free like ORAS Latis lol).

Rules
- For the Pseudo Legendary, you are allowed to sub 1 evolutionary line or 2 counterpart evolutionary lines. The evolutionary line must be 3 stages. For this line, the first stage must have 300 BST, the second stage must have a BST between 410 and 455 (usually 420), and the final stage must have a BST of 600.
- For the Minor Legendary, you may sub a group of 1-4 Single-Stage Pokémon. If you sub more than one, they must be counterparts. They must have a BST between 570 and 580. They should have some flavor connection to the region.
- You can sub regional forms and split evolutions for the the Pseudo Legendary only, just note that no region has done this for any Pseudo as of now.
- Mega Evolutions can be subbed for any of your subs.

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Minor Legendaries
Counterparts: Beesquitto, Masaque, Hauntoll, Amadire
The only things in common the four have are the Ability Disastrous, similar stats with different distribution and their tendency to bring disasters into Loria, even if it was no ill. All four were found in Loria, explaining the increasing amount of disasters on humanity.
Name: Disastrous
Effect: Immunity to Dark-type and Intimidate (+ variants based of that Ability). If hit by a Dark-type move, the attacker takes 12.5% damage of their maximum HP.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Disaster Quartet
Justification: Knock Off / Taunt repellant + an ongoing disaster is something even an evil person should not get directly involved, even if they caused it.
Lovebug urban legend + Moskitto (Bumblebee + mosquito hybrid, mythical creature) + Destruction of crops
Name: Beequistto (Bee + Mosquito + Moskitto)
Typing:

Abilities: Disastrous | Gluttony
Base Stats: 80 HP / 123 Atk / 77 Def / 77 SpA / 123 SpD / 100 Spe (580 BST)
Height: 1.9 meters
Weight: 210 kilograms
Notable Moves: Leech Life, Fell Stinger, Zen Headbutt, Psycho Cut, Dream Eater, Megahorn, Charm, Bounce, Acrobatics, High Horsepower, Agility, Swords Dance, Quiver Dance
Flavor/Design: Large bee-like Pokémon with features of mosquitos, particularly long, slender limbs and a long proboscis. It is known to be as ravenous as a swarm of a thousand Weedle, devouring an entire crops of wheat, fruits and vegetables found in Loria before resting for months, if not for years. Only the rogue Legendary of Loria will outmatch it in terms of hunger.
Potential Competitive Role: Disastrous allows it to nullify it’s Dark-type weakness, though Gluttony can also go for Acrobatics or other Berry-relient movesets.

Skunk ape + Rhesus Macaque + Thunderstorm
Name: Masaque (Macaque + massacre)
Typing:

Abilities: Disastrous | No Guard
Base Stats: 80 HP / 123 Atk / 100 Def / 123 SpA / 77 SpD / 77 Spe (580 BST)
Height: 2.2 meters
Weight: 132.6 kilograms
Notable Moves: Volt Tackle, Close Combat, Thunder, Focus Blast, Sparking Leap, Hurricane, Gunk Shot, Head Smash, Charge Beam, Meteor Mash, Play Rough, Poison Jab, Belch, Stone Edge, Skitter Smack
Flavor/Design: Resembles a rhesus macaque with large body build similarly to the skunk ape or bigfoot, and electric spikes coming out of their back. Maniacal-looking, it will deliver a powerful thunderstorm with a single punch, and their Focus Blast proved difficult to dodge due to their obscene traveling speed. Thunderstorms are more common in Loria, which might explains it’s presence.
Potential Competitive Role: No Guard allows it to make the most of Thunder, Hurricane, Focus Blast for special sets, and Gunk Shot, Stone Edge and Meteor Mash for phsyical sets. This is offset by mediocre base Speed and low Special bulk.

Robert (haunted doll) + plushie + the famous Substitute doll with traits of Wigglytuff + Mass panic
Name: Hauntoll (Haunted + toll / doll)
Typing:

Abilities: Disastrous | Cursed Body
Base Stats: 123 HP / 80 Atk / 77 Def / 123 SpA / 100 SpD / 77 Spe (580 BST)
Height: 1.2 meters
Weight: 10 kilograms
Notable Moves: Shadow Ball, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Moonblast, Nasty Plot, Fake Tears, Screech, Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Blast, Burning Jealousy
Flavor/Design: The spirit inhibiting the doll is said to be the ghost of a fallen Legendary Pokémon that caused mass panics in ancient civilizations of Loria and that their original body used to resemble a more fierce version of what the Substitute doll looks like. What it truly looked like in previous and current form outside the doll remained a mystery, but it is said fo have connection with Wigglytuff.
Potential Competitive Role: Bulky Nasty Plot wallbreaker with Will-O-Wisp to help with lower Defense. Fire Blast or Flamethrower allows it to bypass Steel-type foes, and Disastrous allows it to switch into Knock Off or other Dark-type move without worry.

Bitter oyster + luminescent fungi + amadou mushroom + forestfires
Name: Amadire (Amadou + dire / fire)
Typing:

Abilities: Disastrous | Dry Skin
Base Stats: 80 HP / 77 Atk / 123 Def / 100 SpA / 123 SpD / 77 Spe (580 BST)
Height: 3 meters
Weight: 300.3 kilograms
Notable Moves: Stun Spore, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Recover, Burn Up, Overheat, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Earth Power, Sleep Powder, Mystical Fire, Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Solar Beam, Scorching Sand, Light Screen, Reflect, Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Explosion
Flavor/Design: Floating red sinsiter-looking mushroom Pokémon that emit green light that provide heat. While normally passive and peaceful, it is said that it can become agitated if disturbed, and will cause a fiery explosion that will cause a forestfire. It is found in Loria as a popular urban legend, but no known records about it’s presence fully confirms anything yet.
Potential Competitive Role: Mixed wall with the ability to inflict Burn with either Will-O-Wisp or Scorching Sand. Dry Skin allows it to get rid of it’s Water-type weakness (though it will be deadweight against Mega Gyarados in NatDex formats), and can set up Light Screen or Reflect for support.

Pseudo-Legendary line
Ironclad Beetle + Knight Armor
Name: Aretle
Evolution: Beetelton - Level 25 or higher.
Typing:

Abilities: Heatproof | Mirror Armor
Base Stats: 45 HP / 40 Atk / 70 Def / 60 SpA / 50 SpD / 35 Spe (300 BST)
Height: 0.2 meters
Weight: 45 kilograms
Notable Moves: Metal Burst, Mirror Shot, Iron Defense, Tackle, Metal Sound, Bug Bite, Silver Wind, Body Press
Flavor/Design: Metallic beetle-like Pokémon with an exoskeleton that is composed like a knight armor. It is a rare Bug-type Pokémon known for their durability comparable to the likes of Metapod and Cascoon.

Name: Beetelton (Corruption of Beetle + ton)
Evolution: Ironmor - Level 45 or higher and having the move Iron Blaster.
Typing:

Abilities: Heatproof | Mirror Armor
Base Stats: 60 HP / 55 Atk / 100 Def / 80 SpA / 80 SpD / 45 Spe (420 BST)
Height: 0.6 meters
Weight: 90 kilograms
Notable Moves: Metal Burst, Mirror Shot, Iron Defense, Tackle, Metal Sound, Bug Bite, Silver Wind, Body Press, Iron Blaster*, Bug Buzz, Dig, Dazzling Gleam, Giga Drain, Focus Blast
Flavor/Design: Gains a helm-like head and armored antennas upon evolution, with the carapace becoming shinier in terms of reflection. It is said that Beetelton will accept challenge from anyone and anything, even something that could easily defeat it in a battle.

Name: Ironmor (Iron + armor)
Typing:

Abilities: Heatproof | Mirror Armor
Base Stats: 70 HP / 95 Atk / 130 Def / 120 SpA / 120 SpD / 65 Spe (600 BST)
Height: 1.7 meters
Weight: 440.4 kilograms
Notable Moves: Iron Blaster*, Steel Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast, Bug Buzz, Body Press, Roost, Iron Defense, Flash Cannon, Metal Burst, Counter, Mirror Coat, Magic Coat, Light Screen, Reflect, U-Turn, Flamethrower, Fire Blast
Flavor/Design: Ironmor is covered with so many metal particles thay only the eyes and inbetween them are exposed among the additional metallic exoskeleton. While it leave their movement to be sluggish, it can propel itself into the air with stored excess of oxygen that turns into fire, and the armor is solid enough to withstand crash landings.
Competitive Roles: Impressive mixed bulk alongside strong Special Attack. An alternative set involves Iron Defense and Body Press, with Roost for recovery and Metal Burst to attack Fighting-resisting / immune opponents, or Mirror Coat to punish Scald-spamming Water-type Pokémon.
Name: Iron Blaster
Power: 120
Accuracy: 80
PP: 5
Category: Special
Type:

Effect: 30% chance of lowering target’s Special Defense by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): None
Distribution: Beetelton + Ironmor only for now. Might be given for a few niche Special-oriented Steel Pokémon later on.
Justification: Gives Ironmor a strong Special Steel STAB without the harsh HP cutting effect of Steel Beam.

Early route Dragon? More like late route Dragon. Crazy how that works
:bw/treecko:
Name: Visiguana (Visit + Iguana)
Evolution: Conquiguana (Level 42)
Typing: Dragon
Abilities: Infiltrator, Keen Eye, Unnerve (HA)
Base Stats: 50 HP / 65 Atk / 55 Def / 30 SpA / 45 SpD / 55 Spe (300 BST)
Height: 1.2 meters (3’11)
Weight: 12.5 kg
Notable Moves: Dual Chop, Dragon Rage, Swords Dance, Knock Off, Bulldoze, U-Turn
Flavor/Design: A bipedal black Spiny tailed iguana (similar proportions to Treecko with a thinner tail and spines running down back) with a conquistador hat that has a feather on its side (feather color changes depending on where in region its found). Has a little leather belt the same color as its feather with a magnifying glass that the tail picks up on the side.

Name: Conquiguana (Conquistador + Igunana) [+ Conquest but that’s the same root as Conquistador so whatever]
Evolution: Imperiguana (Level 53)
Typing: Dragon/Steel
Abilities: Infiltrator, Intimidate, Pickpocket (HA)
Base Stats: 65 HP / 100 Atk / 70 Def / 60 SpA / 65 SpD / 75 Spe (435 BST)
Height: 1.6 m (5’3)
Weight: 85 kg
Notable Moves: Dual Chop, Iron Head, Bullet Punch, Earthquake, Knock Off, Swords Dance, U-Turn
Flavor/Design: Lizard is taller and now has a metal breastplate and limb greaves. The magnifying glass is now a dagger that the notably proportionately larger tail uses. The hat is now a conquistador style metal helmet with a big feather in the front.

Name: Imperiguana (Imperial + Iguana)
Typing: Dragon/Steel
Abilities: Infiltrator, Intimidate, Pickpocket (HA)
Base Stats: 95 HP / 125 Atk / 115 Def / 75 SpA / 85 SpD / 105 Spe (600 BST)
Height: 2.04 m (6’8)
Weight: 119 kg
Notable Moves: Dragon Claw/Outrage, Iron Head, Bullet Punch, Earthquake, Knock Off, Swords Dance, U-Turn
Flavor/Design: Guess what? Lizard got bigger again. Only this time, it has plate armor everywhere except for its head, tail, and joints. Instead of a dagger, the mon carries a rapier. The feather on its helmet is now considerably longer and flows down to the base of its tail. Having now fully adapted to its surroundings, its eyes match the color of the area of the region it evolved in, which may not be the one it was caught in. The helmet now covers its mouth like a knight’s helmet, but it’s barred so it looks like a muzzle for its incredibly sharp teeth.
Potential Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Offensive Pivot

Fine I’ll do a minor legendary sub too. El niño and la niña are major heat waves and cold waves, respectively, taking over the intended weather. Both have hit South Florida before, so let’s do something with that.

Name: Amalgemorus, The Amalgamate Pokemon
Counterpart(s): Engeroider, Solnovare, Cumulocastous
Typing: Ghost/Poison
Abilities: Wonder Guard

Flavor/Design: A horribly botched experiment consisting in the combination of different Pokemon to create a sort of "Super Pokemon", akin to Mewtwo, but better. It went horribly wrong, and ended in this amalgamated combination of souls. Stuck in a state between life and death, Amalgemorus was abandoned after its failure, doomed to wander in the Abandoned Laboratory for all eternity. It has a strange, cursed aura protecting it from harm.
Potential Competitive Role: the better shedinja

Flavor/Design: A botched experiment to create an android Pokemon that could overpower anything. It didn't go as planned, and Engeroidor went haywire and turned on its masters. It was abandoned after its failure, and wanders the Abandoned Laboratory. It carries a blaster on its arm and a shield on the other, switching between them in combat.
Potential Competitive Role: Special Wallbreaker, Defensive/Offensive Pivot, Autotomize Sweeper
Name: Solnovare, The Supernova Pokemon
Counterpart(s): Amalgemorus, Engeroidor, Cumulocastous
Typing: Fire/Electric

Flavor/Design: A botched experiment to make a Pokemon capable of harnessing the sun's power to destroy anything. It again didn't go as planned, and it blew up everything in the vicinity. It stores an enormous amount of solar energy inside, and now wanders the halls of the Abandoned Laboratory.

Flavor/Design: A botched experiment to make a Pokemon capable of controlling the weather (better than Castform did, that was way too weak). It, once again, didn't go well, and Cumulocastous was born and wrecked the lab with storm clouds, rain, hail, sand, and heat waves. It now wanders the Abandoned Laboratory.
Potential Competitive Role: Weather Sweeper, Castform but good

Flavor/Design: Based on protons and Braham, hindu god of creation.
Potential Competitive Role: A more defensive variant of the electric titans. This Pokémon has more sustain than its counterparts with a better defensive typing, more heal options with genesis wave & heal bell as well as straight up better bulk. It also has very strong coverage in earth power, which pairs well with calm mind and a fairy stab.

Flavor/Design: Based on neutrons and Vishnu, hindu god of preservation.
Potential Competitive Role: The fastest of the atomic trio, Vishneute is also one of the more versatile thanks to its ability Levitate which grants it opportunities the two other mon just do not have. Specs or cm sets are probably the better ones.
*Idle Thunder: Electric-type Doom Desire

Flavor/Design: Based on electrons and Shiva, hindu god of destruction.
Potential Competitive Role: Negashive is the most dangerous damage-wise of the atomic trio. With nasty plot, a poison immunity and its signature disaster bolt, it makes for a very scary wallbreaker. Its also the god which can use its physical moveset the most thanks to its very respectable 140 atk stat. Sub sets are probably the best. It also sounds very scary under trick room.
*Disaster Bolt: 100 BP Electric-type Apple Acid

Now for the final new Pokemon submission slate!

---------------------------------------------------------------

- Mythical + Free Slate -
:sm/mew::sm/celebi::sm/jirachi::sm/manaphy:
The final new Pokémon submission slate will focus on Mythical Pokémon. These are the rarest Pokémon in the game, only being available through events (sans Deoxys in ORAS, Keldeo in SwSh, and Arceus in PLA). While usually having small and/or cutesy appearances, these Pokémon sport a high 600 BST and a usually deep movepool that often makes them competitively viable.
The Mythical will take up 1 slot for this final slate, while you will have 4 other slots to submit whatever you want. Preferably, you will use this to fill any holes we may have in our PokeDex, namely typewise.

Mythical Pokémon Rules
- For the Mythical Pokémon, you are allowed to sub 1 single-stage Pokémon that has a BST of 600. Small exceptions can be made if you want to do something like Phione or the Meltan line.
- In line with other Mythical Pokemon, your Mythical will not be legal in VGC.
- The Mythical Pokémon cannot be a Regional Form.
- Mega Evolutions can be subbed for the Mythical Pokémon only

Normal Pokémon Rules
- You may sub whatever you want for this slate.
- You may sub up to 4 unique evolutionary lines of Pokémon. These lines can include split evolutions.
- There is no hard BST limit for this slate, though you should stay reasonable unless you have a good flavor justification like Slaking.
- As for what's typical for a standard Pokémon, final evolutions tend to peak around the 520-530 range, sometimes going into the 540s for stuff like cross gen evolutions or Gyarados. Florges and Arcanine are the only two non-flavor exceptions to this, being over 550, with the others (Slaking and Archeops) having flavor reasons. Standalone Pokémon tend to stay below 500, especially for early-to-midgame mons, though there are a lot of exceptions for later game mons like Duraludon or Dhelmise.
- You can sub regional forms for this slate.
- Mega Evolutions will NOT be part of this part of the slate. Any Pokémon voted in can be given a Mega Evolution later, however.
- Below is the type count of the PokeDex, going by each individual Pokémon and new Regional Form. TL;DR, the Dex is severely lacking in Psychic, Dragon, and Steel-types and we have a more than sufficient amount of Fire, Dark, Rock, and Water-types.
Type Count of New Pokemon (counting Regionals, counting all Pokemon separately, includes the new Pseudo and Minor Legends)
Bug - 16
Dark - 18
Dragon - 6
Electric - 11
Fairy - 14
Fighting - 12
Fire - 20
Flying - 12
Ghost - 11
Grass - 14
Ground - 10
Ice - 11
Normal - 10
Poison - 10
Psychic - 7
Rock - 17
Steel - 8
Water - 16

- We have sufficient amount of Regional Forms, with 19, which ties Galar for the most added in one generation so far
- We have a good amount of split evolution Pokémon already, with 4, though only one of them is a traditional two-way split evolution and it's an evolution of an existing Pokémon, so one could certainly add those.
