A. Lizolution line
B. Prehistoric Throh + Sawk lines (SV)*
C. Arkaiak line

*If, and only if this set wins, Yoshiblaze can just put them in the Lorian forms page. Reason why I called these lines “prehistoric” is because Lorian would not roll as much for prehistoric forms whose true place of origin can’t be pinpointed.

Cranidos-L/Kabuto-L - 3 + 2 + 3 = 8
Lizoluton - 2 + 3 = 5

Arkaick - 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 5
Coralite/Megalodart - 2 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 2 = 9

Our fossils will be Prehistoric Throh and Prehistoric Sawk!
:throh: + :unknown: Oni + neanderthal caveman
Name: Prehistoric Throh
Fossil: Red Skull
Evolution: Jahvolen - Level up with the move Javelin Stone (level 40)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Sawk line
Typing:

Abilities: Dry Skin / Long Reach | Technician
Base Stats: 120 HP / 100 Atk / 75 Def / 30 SpA / 95 SpD / 45 Spe (465 BST)
Height: 1.3 m
Weight: 65.6 kg
Notable Moves: Throh’s learnset (minus Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Low Sweep, Coaching) + Gunk Shot, Mud Shot, Horn Leech, Hammer Arm, Smack Down, Bone Rush, Meteor Beam, Scorching Sand, Javelin Stone, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Ancient Power
Flavor/Design: More jagged looking, with the cloth-like wearing replaced by dried mud that resembles a typical caveman wearing. Always carries a javelin-like material. Brave and surprisingly tactical, a pack of Prehistoric Throh will hunt on bigger prey like what Mamoswine used to be. Their skin are drier than today Throh, thusly it is theorized that it was a result of hunting for days of harsh sunlight.

Name: Jahvolen (Corruption of the word javelin)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Sawk line
Typing:

Abilities: Dry Skin / Long Reach | Technician
Base Stats: 130 HP / 120 Atk / 80 Def / 40 SpA / 100 SpD / 45 Spe (515 BST)
Height: 1.8 m
Weight: 132.6 kg
Notable Moves: Prehistoric Throh’s learnset + Hyper Beam, Drill Run, Spikes, Dig, Bonemerang, Rock Climb, Head Smash, Rock Wrecker, Accelerock
Flavor/Design: The javelin become larger and longer, and Jahvolen‘s horn is more pronounced and sharper than Prehistoric Throh’s. With an even more jagged appearance, Jahvolen will take on even an Aerodactyl, with such a fierce determination that it would prove very dangerous in today to tame.
Potential Competitive Role: With Prehistoric Throh being bulkier thanks to Eviolite and Jahvolen hitting harder, this line have access to Dry Skin allowing to neutralize the common Water type, otherwise a crippling double weakness. However, Technician + Accelerock + Bonemerang are also strong alternatives. Long Reach is another alternative as well, but not running Dry Skin is not recommended unless you are willing to take risk.
Name: Javelin Stone
Power: 120
Accuracy: 90%
PP: 5
Category: Physical
Type:

Effect: 20% chance of lowering target’s Defense by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): None

Justification: Semi-reliable Rock STAB, helpful for wallbreaking without the recoil of Head Smash.
:sawk: + :unknown: Oni + neanderthal caveman
Name: Prehistoric Sawk
Fossil: Blue Skull
Evolution: Kluhbur - Level up with the move Cripple Clobber (level 40)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Throh line
Typing:

Abilities: Pressure / Long Reach | Defiant
Base Stats: 75 HP / 125 Atk / 80 Def / 30 SpA / 65 SpD / 90 Spe (465 BST)
Height: 1.4 m
Weight: 53.2 kg
Notable Moves: Sawk’s learnset (minus Double Kick, Retaliate, Low Sweep, Coaching) + Gunk Shot, Dark Pulse, Horn Leech, Hammer Arm, Smack Down, Bone Rush, Meteor Beam, Lash Out, Cripple Clobber, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Ancient Power
Flavor/Design: More jagged looking, with the cloth-like wearing replaced by dark blue fur that resembles a typical caveman wearing. Always carries a club-like material. Ruthless and defiant, a horde of Prehistoric Sawk can strike down a Bastiodon within a single Club Smash, making them fearsome predators even to this day when resurfaced by experiments.

Name: Kluhbur (Corruption of the word clobber)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Throh line
Typing:

Abilities: Pressure / Long Reach | Defiant
Base Stats: 80 HP / 135 Atk / 90 Def / 40 SpA / 70 SpD / 100 Spe (515 BST)
Height: 2 m
Weight: 112.6 kg
Notable Moves: Prehistoric Sawk’s learnset + Hyper Beam, Night Slash, Beat Up, Play Rough, Bonemerang, Rock Climb, Head Smash, Rock Wrecker, Accelerock
Flavor/Design: The club weapon become larger and heavier, and Kluhbur‘s horn is longer and sharper than Prehistoric Sawk’s. With an even more violent combat style, Kluhbur proved to be too difficult for even a Tyrantrum to take down, making it‘s presence exceedingly dangerous were it not for Fighting-type Pokémon of today.
Potential Competitive Role: Kluhbur may have a double weakness to Fighting to worry about, but it makes up for it with very strong Attack base stat and reasonably high base 100 Speed. Cripple Clobber punishes switch-ins by lowering their Speed, thusly opposing Fighting-type Pokémon, while able to tank it, must worry about an upcoming Play Rough or Zen Headbutt.
Name: Cripple Clobber
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 20
Category: Physical
Type:

Effect: Guaranteed chance of lowering target’s Speed by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact
Distribution: Prehistoric Sawk line, Rhyhorn line, Onix line, Aron line, Armaldo, Regirock, Rampardos, Gigalith, Barbaracle, Midnight Lycanrock, Stonjourner
Justification: Actually reliable Rock STAB, and always lowering your target’s Speed is always good.
new slate !!

---------------------------
- Free Slate -
:sm/dhelmise::sm/blissey::sm/druddigon::sm/walrein:

This slate is a free slate, you can do anything you want within the rules outlined below and keeping Lorian flavor in mind. Not much else to say.
Rules
- You may sub whatever you want for this slate.
- You may sub up to 5 unique evolutionary lines of Pokémon. These lines can include split evolutions.
- There is no hard BST limit for this slate, though you should stay reasonable unless you have a good flavor justification like Slaking.
- As for what's typical for a standard Pokémon, final evolutions tend to peak around the 520-530 range, sometimes going into the 540s for stuff like cross gen evolutions or Gyarados. Florges and Arcanine are the only two non-flavor exceptions to this, being over 550, with the others (Slaking and Archeops) having flavor reasons. Standalone Pokémon tend to stay below 500, especially for early-to-midgame mons, though there are a lot of exceptions for later game mons like Duraludon or Dhelmise.
- You can sub regional forms for this slate.
- Mega Evolutions will NOT be part of this slate. Any Pokémon voted in can be given a Mega Evolution later, however.

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Counterparts (We need MORE)
Resubbing Keisberg, this time it got a counterpart that is Stonjourner’s evolution (Eiscue and Stonjourner are counterparts for some reason)
:eiscue: -> :unknown: Emperor penguin + ice king / queen + cryogenetically frozen creatures (New evolution)
Name: Keisberg (“Kaiser”, German of emperor + ”Eisberg”, german of iceberg)
Pre-Evolution: Eiscue - Evolved when leveled up near an Ice Rock or in the (Evil Team Hideout) Cryogenic Storage.
Counterpart: Stontravank (and Stonjourner in Eiscue’s case)
Typing:

Ability: Eternal Ice*
Name: Eternal Ice
Effect: Grants the Pokémon immunity to Fire-type moves and Fighting-type moves; however, it will also always have -1 priority.
Permanent: No
Ignored by Mold Breaker: Yes
Distribution: Keisberg, Regice (Replaces Ice Body)
Justification: “Made of eternal ice, of which even the warmest magma will not melt, and the fiercest fists will not break.” Makes Keisberg’s Ice / Steel actually scary, at cost of usually always moving last, even in Trick Room. Regice also fits this well in lore, and definitely appreciates immunity to the common Fire and Fighting at cost of unable to fit in Trick Room.

Base Stats: 95 HP / 110 Atk / 110 Def / 75 SpA / 120 SpD / 35 Spe (545 BST)
Height: 2.5 meters
Weight: 525.2 kilograms
Notable Moves: Eiscue’s movepool + Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Icicle Crash, Aerial Ace, Slack Off, Whirlwind, Steel Beam, Flip Turn, Sheer Cold, Mirror Move, Stomping Tantrum, High Horsepower, Earthquake, Bulk Up, Swords Dance
Flavor/Design: This evolution of Eiscue is the result of a population of Eiscue being held captive in the cryogenetic storage of a corporate organization, with the Eiscue losing their Ice Face and developing a whole body of flexible, eternal ice except the head to evolve into Keisberg. While sluggish in movement, their ice cannot be melted by fire, or be broken by various fightig techniques. In addition to the icier body, Keisberg developed metallic claws coming out of their flippers, allowing them to scrape unused ice into part of their body.

Design-wise, it is a tall black and blue Pokémon with the flippers covered in claws shaped like tools used to scrape ice and snow off various objects. In a twist of irony, the only body part that isn’t covered in ice is the head.
Potential Competitive Role: Essentially an extreme version of a typical Ice-type Pokémon; usually always moves last, but compensates with immunity of Fire and Fighting, combination of high Attack and bulk, recovery and the benefits of Steel-type. Avalanche can be made use of since Keisberg always moves last, so it have consistent 120 BP Ice STAB. Since it always moves last, however, it can be easily revenge killed, paricularly by wallbreakers.

:stonjourner: -> :unknown: Rock golem + tank + moss on rocks + travelers (New evolution)
Name: Stontravank (Stone + travel + tank)
Pre-Evolution: Stonjourner - Evolved when leveled up near a Mossy Rock or in a ruin.
Counterpart: Keisberg (and Eiscue in Stonjourner‘s case)
Typing:

Ability: Traveler*
Name: Traveler
Effect: Immunity to all entry hazards; upon switching in, remove all entry hazards off this Pokémon’s side.
Permanent: No
Ignored by Mold Breaker: No
Distribution: Stontravank, Sudowoodo (Replaces Rattled; Bonsly keeps Rattled)
Justification: Professional travelers are known to be prepared to ignore ill effects of sharp rocks and the likes. Stontravank‘s stone skin is too thick to be affected by entry hazards, while Sudowoodo, a tree mimic, would want to get rid of traps before resuming tree mimicking.

Base Stats: 110 HP / 130 Atk / 140 Def / 60 SpA / 60 SpD / 35 Spe (545 BST)
Height: 4 meters
Weight: 720 kilograms
Notable Moves: Stonjourner movepool + Power Whip, Giga Drain, Vine Whip, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, Iron Head, Javelin Throw, Swords Dance, Grassy Terrain, Energy Ball, Leaf Blade, Spiky Shield, Razor Leaf, Grass Knot
Flavor/Design: This evolution of Stonjourner is a result of absorbing moss onto it’s body over time, giving it the ability to utilize various Grass-type moves such as Power Whip. This allows Stontravank to absorb nutriments the moss absorbed during day and night, even when asleep. Because of their strength coming off their massive size and weight, only very few known Pokémon would dare to directly confront it; many Grass-type Pokémon can hop on it for transportation, safe from their predators.

Design-wise, this quadrupede Pokémon’s body shape is more sturcture like a stonehenge when asleep, or an american tank when active. The eyes are slightly more intimidating, and the mouth is now fanged and is covered with a fake underbite made of moss.
Potential Competitive Role: Other than the fact that Stontravank’s Grass-type makes it more distinct from other Rock-type Pokémon with similar stat distribution, Stontank’s Traveler allows it to ruin entry hazards, allowing Rock-weak allies to not needing to run Heavy-Duty Boots if played well. Special Defense sucks a lot less; still sucks, but at least it can benefit Sandstorm or Assault Vest much better.
Non-Counterparts
Batteries + Dullahan + Frankenstein monster + plushies (Three-stage line)
Name: Zappery (Zapping + battery)
Evolution: Zappariz - Level 23 or higher
Typing:

Abilities: Bewilder* / Regenerator | Filter
Name: Bewilder
Effect: On switch-in, reduce opponents’ Special Attack by 1 stage.
Permanent: No
Ignored by Mold Breaker: No
Distribution: Zapie line, Misdreavus line (Hidden Ability), Galarian Stunfisk (Hidden Ability)
Justification: “This Pokémon makes their opponent mentally agitated, reducing their Special Attack as a result.” This Ability is made to keep Special oriented threats in check, especially concerning Quiver Dance and Calm Mind.

Base Stats: 45 HP / 35 Atk / 70 Def / 45 SpA / 70 SpD / 35 Spe (300 BST)
Height: 0.3 meters
Weight: 0.2 kilograms
Notable Moves: Astonish, Knock Off, Spark, Thunder Wave, Torment, Charge, Discharge, Sludge, Acid Spray
Flavor/Design: A Frankenstein-styled living plushie with a hastily stiched neck, a result of an evil and reckless scientific approach back in the PokéWorld’s 20th century. As soon as it flees, it managed to multiply by collecting and stiching similar abandoned plushies, and then give them life by zapping on their battery components.
Potential Competitive Role: LC-wise, it’ll certainly be an annoying special wall with Bewilder, or a mixed wall with Regenerator.

Name: Zappariz (Corruption of zappy and paralysis)
Evolution: Zappuhan - Use a Thunder Stone
Typing:

Abilities: Bewilder* / Regenerator | Filter
Base Stats: 55 HP / 50 Atk / 95 Def / 70 SpA / 95 SpD / 45 Spe (410 BST)
Height: 0.5 meters
Weight: 0.4 kilograms
Notable Moves: Acid Spray, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch, Eerie Impulse, Discharge, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot
Flavor/Design: Taller and messier, with the stitch of the neck starting to let out, and collected more parts of plushies based off various Pokémon found in Loria. They also put in more batteries on their back, allowing them to steal more electricity away from other Electric-type Pokémon.
Potential Competitive Role: LC-wise, it’ll certainly be an annoying special wall with Bewilder, or a mixed wall with Regenerator.

Name: Zappuhan (Zapping + Dullahan)
Evolution: Zappuhan - Use a Thunder Stone
Typing:

Abilities: Bewilder* / Regenerator | Filter
Base Stats: 70 HP / 60 Atk / 130 Def / 90 SpA / 130 SpD / 50 Spe (530 BST)
Height: 1.9 meters
Weight: 200 kilograms
Notable Moves: Nasty Plot, Knock Off, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch, Eerie Impulse, Spikes, Toxic (battery leak), Thunderbolt, Thunder, Dark Pulse, Snarl, Focus Blast, Pain Split, Torment, Taunt, Thief, Fling, Zing Zap, Charge, Discharge
Flavor/Design: After collecting enough electricity, Zapariz becomes a Zappuhan, with the true head exposes itself as a living lightning elemental and the detached doll head serving as a second head. If provoked, it will use Discharge towards everything around it through their lightning rods. These rods cannot attract electricity on their own, so Zappuhan have to touch anything with electricity thorugh the claw-like apendages to absorb it.
Potential Competitive Role: A rare defensive Electric-type (and Dark-type come to think of it), and one with mixed bulk. Bewilder or Regenerator + Volt Switch makes a helpful defensive pivot as well, with access to the now restricted Toxic helping it’s repertoire to wear down opposing walls.

:goldeen: -> :seaking: -> :unknown: Literal goldfish + Matsya + koi (New evolution)
Name: Orlord (French word “or” (means gold) + lord)
Pre-Evolution: Seaking - Evolved when leveled up with a King’s Rock.
Typing:

Abilities: Swift Swim / Water Veil | Lightning Rod
Base Stats: 85 HP / 112 Atk / 65 Def / 80 SpA / 80 SpD / 95 Spe (520 BST)
Height: 1.6 meters
Weight: 75.5 kilograms
Notable Moves: Seaking’s movepool + Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Gunk Shot, Zen Headbutt, Head Smash, Metal Burst, Mirror Coat, Mirror Shot, Dragon Dance
Flavor/Design: It gains a golden body in addition to red stripes it has when it was Seaking. Orlord‘s trident-shaped horn cones to mind of a crown, befitting it’s elegant appearance. It is currently unknown on how it gains the Steel-type, but it is rumored that it’s newly developed golden coat have to do with Seaking’s tendency to absorb minerals with it’s horn to absorb their nutriments.
Potential Competitive Role: Set-up sweeper with Dragon Dance or Swords Dance, with a pretty colorful selection of coverage such as Gunk Shot, Zen Headbutt, Megahorn or Drill Run. Flip Turn is available for it for offensive pivot purposes.

Notable Moves: Iron Head, Poison Jab, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Leech Life, Iron Defense, Iron Tail, Gunk Shot
Flavor/Design: Lorian Skorupi was pushed out to the mountains by its most dangerous predators in Loria, where it adapted by developing an exoskeleton as hard as steel. The toxins it produces are the same ones in Lorian Cubchoo's snot, establishing a correlation between Lorian Skorupi's arrival and the Cubchoo already living there becoming Poison-types themselves.

Flavor/Design: Lorian Drapion can pulverize an 18-wheeler with one swing of its arms, which are more than 20 times as strong as a regular Drapion's. If it gets injured while hunting, it can poison its prey before eating it, enabling Lorian Drapion to regain additional stamina when it does.

Flavor/Design: Lorian Cubchoo has a commensal relationship with Lorian Skorupi, mostly because neither eats the same kinds of food. Sharing territory with it for decades led to Lorian Cubchoo becoming a Poison-type, and its snot contains the same toxins that a Lorian Skorupi produces.

New Features:

Stirring up hurricanes and tempests all over Loria's waters, Tempescus is a rare and marvelous creature to behold, and it is said that if you ever see one you will either die at sea or find great treasures there.

Notable Moves: Sinnohian Shellos -Water Moves +Struggle Bug, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Bullet Seed, Ingrain, Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Seed Bomb, Pin Missile, Skitter Smack, Banana Split
Flavor/Design: Based off of a Banana slug taken literally, Lorian Shellos of the eastern half of the region hide inside of banana peels to protect themselves from their most common predator, Zoomraj. However, they are often mistaken for a real banana while they are hiding in their banana peels, which results in Shellos spewing its purple ooze in the unsuspecting human's mouth, which, as you can imagine, is a very unpleasant experience.

Notable Moves: Sinnohian Gastrodon -Water and Ground Moves +Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Metal Burst, Steel Beam, Lorian Shellos-East's Movepool
Flavor/Design: As Lorian Shellos becomes a Gastrodon, the vestigial remains of its old shell, still in its cells, fuses with the banana to create a large metal banana that Lorian Gastrodon resides in. Oftentimes, it will be seen with only its head sticking out of the huge metal banana peel that defends it against predators.

Notable Moves: Lorian Gastrodon-West +Lava Plume, Flamethrower, Burn Up, Eruption, Flare Blitz, Heat Crash, Inferno, Fire Blast, Overheat, Sunny Day, Shell Trap, Volcanic Strike
Flavor/Design: The metal banana shell, when fused with the Magmarizer, fills Gastrodon with (insert determination joke here) heat and magma and turns it into Magmananapod (bit of a mouthful, isn't it), a harnesser of lava and volcanoes. Its shell, while still maintaining a banana-ish shape, now has a large volcanic vent at the top, where Magmananapod releases heat.

Flavor/Design: It seems to just be a normal cat. People have often wondered why it lives in such abundance near the areas in which so many ghost types live. The reason seems to be that it is where their evolutions live, and they are born there. Not much else to say about it, other than the fact that it's skin seems to become paler every time it faints, almost getting to the point of translucency...?

Notable Moves: Fluffary + Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Extrasensory, Hex, Nasty Plot, NIght Shade, Ominous Wind, Tri Attack
Flavor/Design: As a Fluffary reaches the final life of its nine lives, its biology shifts, its skin becomes translucent, and it becomes partially ghost, resting on a thin line between life and death. It becomes reluctant to battle, and sometimes sending it out will result in the unique flavor text "Ninther really doesn't want to be here" or "Ninther looks terrified" at low health.

They are filled with the power of DETERMINATION

Flavor/Design: As Ninther's final life was taken, it became extremely aggressive and reclusive on becoming fully spectral, its skin becoming transparent so you could see its skeleton. Defeateows hold a grudge against the Pokemon that killed them, and will stop at nothing to tear them apart, piece by bloody piece.

Base Stats: 75/55/82/140/82/106 (540)
Height: 3’6”
Weight: 28.4 lbs
Notable Moves: Rotom + Psychic, Extrasensory, Psychedelic Screens
Flavor/Design: Deep in the Everglades equivalent/jungle area, there is an old decrepit mansion home to many Ghost types. In recent years, a group of Rotom were brought to Loria for research but escaped and made their way to the mansion, which they've now taken over, forcing all the other Pokemon out, led by a particularly powerful Rotom that inhabited the haunted TV, becoming the first Rotodelic. It has one of those weird black and white spiral screens that it uses to hypnotize it's opponents. After defeating the Rotodelic in the TV, the Rotom clear out and other ghosts inhabit the museum, and the TV can be used to evolve Rotom.
Potential Competitive Role: If this wins, Rotom gets Eviolite, possibly giving it a higher niche. Rotodelic can be a nasty plot sweeper with its high special attack and speed, or can run choice specs/scarf for immediate power or revenge killing.

Base Stats: 55 / 92 / 69 / 92 / 69 / 91 (468 BST)
Height: 0.8 m
Weight: 20.2 kg
Notable Moves: Slap Shot, Blizzard, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Triple Axel, Dual Wingbeat, U-Turn, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Double-Edge, Coaching, Play Rough, Brick Break, Hail, Electric Terrain, Quick Attack, Roost, Rage Powder, Stun Spore, Tailwind, Taunt, Ice Ball, Fell Stinger, Bug Buzz, After You, Power-Up Punch
Flavor/Design: Based on bees and the Tampa Bay Lightning, a professional Ice Hockey team from Florida, whose mascot is a bee. Hockey is a sport that was just recently introduced to the people of Loria, but thanks to their worldwide domination of the sport, it's become an absolute hit, and Blizzbug is one big reason for it. While it's not very big or strong, once a team of Blizzbugs get on the ice, you'll have a hard time detecting them with the human eye. Using their blistering Speed, Blizzbugs are exceptional goal scorers, easily outmaneuvering other Pokemon and humans alike. And don't let their light weight fool you, a full Speed check from one of them can easily send any other Pokemon flying into the wall. Blizzbugs make for great mascots thanks to their family-friendly appearance, likely also contributing to the newfound popularity of Hockey in the region.
Potential Competitive Role: Look, there's a way more optimized Ice/Electric in the Brazdo Dex, so with my self-imposed BST limitation for realism, this thing was never gonna be better than that thing or Arctozolt. Even so, decent offenses and 2 great abilities in Compound Eyes and Slush Rush with that typing will let this make waves in lower tiers and its interesting assortment of utility moves in Rage Powder, Coaching, After You, and Tailwind may give it a VGC niche

Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Protect, Mirror, Bullet

Name: Foifish (Foil (a discipline of fencing and also references metal foil) + Fish)
Evolution: Evolves into Sailre when leveled-up with the move Swords Dance

Base Stats: 35 / 70 / 50 / 40 / 50 / 90 (335 BST)

Flavor/Design: Based on a sailfish, swordsmen, and fencing. Foifish are the premier swordsmen of the sea, routinely challenging themselves and others to epic duels using their sharp sword-like bills. Foifish are extremely honorable in their duels, making use of False Swipes to ensure that each party gets a fair opportunity to show off the skill. A Foifish that breaks this rule can quickly find itself in a fight for its life against an angry school of rival Foifish.
Potential Competitive Role: how did no one sub a sailfish/marlin during the aquatic slate lmao

Name: Sailre (Sailfish + Sailor + Sabre/Saber (a discipline of fencing))
Typing:

Abilities: Steadfast / Super Luck / Swift Swim
Base Stats: 55 / 105 / 90 / 60 / 70 / 125 (505 BST)
Height: 3.8 m
Weight: 58.2 kg
Notable Moves: Foifish's movepool + Sacred Sword, Close Combat, Giga Impact, Foul Play
Flavor/Design: Based on a sailfish, swordsmen, and fencing. Only Foifish that have achieved complete mastery over the art of swordfighting are allowed to naturally evolve into Sailres. These Pokemon easily cut apart any Pokemon or obstacle in a flash, making them one of the most dangerous predators in the ocean. Marine biologists luckily enough to watch a duel between 2 Sailres from a safe distance will bear witness to an absolute masterclass of swordsmanship that the world's best fencers could only dream of.
Potential Competitive Role: Extremely similar to Barraskewda as an already fast Swift Swim mon with similar coverage. However, instead of having nuclear power out the gate but 0 defensive utility, it's much weaker, but much bulkier with an amazing typing and Swords Dance, plus interesting options like Megahorn to get past stuff like Slowbro, which should make it an absolutely terrifying sweeper in rain, a la SD Kabutops or Drednaw but scarier. Probably the most competitively viable thing I've subbed so far.

Notable Moves: Harden, Iron Defense, String Shot, Bug Buzz, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Sticky Web, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Ally Switch, Magnet Rise, Ion Deluge, Signal Beam, Laser Focus, Discharge, Wild Charge, Mimic, Camouflage, Leech Life, Thunder Wave
Flavor/Design: Based on a cocoon and the zebra longwing, the state insect of Florida. To protect themselves from Flying-types, the ancestors of Zimics always hung around packs of Blitzle and Zebstrika for protection. In return, these Pokemon could help protect their eggs with their sturdy bodies, buying enough time for the pack to chase off predators. These Pokemon hung around Blitzles and Zebstrikas for so long that they eventually started to mimic their colors and eventually even learn how to produce electricity themselves, though it's not nearly as powerful as the electricity that Zebstrikas produce.
Potential Competitive Role: nah

Name: Copiraika (Copy/Copyright + Raika ("flash of lightning" in Japanese, part of Zebstrika's Japanese name)
Evolution: Evolves into Copiraika at Level 31
Counterpart(s): Zebstrika
Typing:

Abilities: Static / Motor Drive / Sap Sipper
Base Stats: 63 / 80 / 63 / 116 / 75 / 100 (497 BST)
Height: 1.4 m
Weight: 12.5 kg
Notable Moves: Zimic's movepool + Overheat, Flame Charge, Thunder, Electric Terrain, Roost, Aerial Ace, Whirlwind, Bounce, U-Turn, Sparking Leap
Flavor/Design: Based on a the zebra longwing, the state insect of Florida. After being around Zebstrika's for so long, Zimics began evolving into a new species of Pokemon that has a lot of the same genetic traits that Zebstrikas do. Most notably, these Pokemon are easily able to heat themselves up to a high degree and release great amounts of energy, despite their Bug-typing. Scientists have been extremely interested in the implications of this kind of development and have been running tests by forcing Zimics to live with Rock and Ice-types, though no notable changes in their behavior or abilities have been noted.
Potential Competitive Role: Being a Bug-type with Fire coverage is a super unique trait for an otherwise extremely one note mon. It has a decent Speed tier, great 116 SpA, is super frail, and has the usual Bug and Electric tools of Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Bug Buzz, Grass coverage, and Sticky Web. Access to Overheat will at least give it something over the likes of Galvantula or Yanmazure, though lacking Quiver Dance hurts, so it'll likely end up in the RU/UU range.

Name: Narabel (Naranja (Orange in Spanish) + Bell)
Evolution: Evolves from Weepinbell when exposed to a Sun Stone
Counterpart(s): Victreebel, Vileplume, Bellossom
Typing:

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Static
Base Stats: 80 / 65 / 105 / 90 / 80 / 70 (490 BST)
Height: 1.5 m
Weight: 20.5 kg
Notable Moves: Weepinbell's movepool + Water Pulse, Brine, Zing Zap, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Thunder, Charge, Spark, Citrusy Sting (move from Gen X Brazdo, Grass-type Thunder Wave), Life Dew, Pollen Puff, Electric Terrain
Flavor/Design: Based on a pitcher plant and orange juice. Essentially an upside down pitcher plant (a la Weepinbell) filled with a liquid that tastes exactly like orange juice that Narabel selflessly serves to Pokemon deep within forests. Victreebels in Loria are noted to have a greater ability to attract prey than anywhere else because of the help they get from Narabels
Potential Competitive Role: Correctly a glaring gaping hole in the PokeDex, Narabel is the Bellossom to Victreebel's Vileplume, taking a more defensive role than its counterpart. Grass/Electric is a pretty good defensive typing, it has good bulk, Static, and broken moves like Strength Sap and Sleep Powder.

:sm/fearow:
Name: Hearow (Corruption of Hero)
Evolution: Evolves from Fearow at Level 40
Typing:

Abilities: Justified / Sniper
Base Stats: 85 / 110 / 75 / 71 / 71 / 110 (522 BST)
Height: 1.5 m
Weight: 20.5 kg
Notable Moves: Fearow's movepool + Fearow's Pokemon HOME Datamine moves (Brave Bird & Pay Day) + Bulk Up, Close Combat, Counter, Final Gambit, Reversal, Superpower, Submission, Taunt, Hurricane, Poison Jab, Dual Wingbeat
Flavor/Design: Fearow's LGPE Dex entry mentions that it flies away the moment it sense danger, and its dex entries generally paint it as an opportunist, not one to jump into fights. Hearow is the exact opposite of that, instead living for danger, defending people and Pokemon from bigger Pokemon and poachers, not because it has a moral compass or a good heart, but simply because it always wants a good challenge. Lorian Police Officers often find unconscious would-be poachers near Spearow roosts because of the efforts of Hearows.
Potential Competitive Role: look, i did this for the pun and to get my fifth slot, i'm tired. Anyway, this is a UU/RU Galarian Zapdos, sorry Brazdan Oricorio, you stay in PU.

So the concept here is taking 2 animals from their expected habitat, and swapping them. Soooo...

Name: Manatike
Evolution: Managma
Counterpart(s): Kidmono
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Flame Body / Flash Fire
Base Stats: 80 / 35 / 65 / 60 / 65 / 25 (330 BST)
Height: 1.2m
Weight: 38kg
Notable Moves: Flamethrower, Slack Off, Yawn, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Will-o-Wisp, Toxic.
Flavor/Design: We need a manatee pokemon, and where else than the Florida based nation in which the Florida Manatee is native to. Evolves at level 32.
Potential Competitive Role: bruh

Name: Managma
Pre-Evolution: Manatike
Counterpart(s): Komotide
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Flame Body / Magma Soaker
Base Stats: 120 / 55 / 115 / 70 / 115 / 45 (520 BST)
Height: 3.2m
Weight: 861kg
Notable Moves: Flamethrower, Slack Off, Yawn, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Will-o-Wisp, Toxic, Roar, Body Press.
Flavor/Design: Despite what normal manatees tend to do, Managma lives bathing in lava and magma found in volcanos, using it as a hot tub to keep its internal temperature high. Due to living in such harsh conditions, Managma tends to shrug off most hits as the magma has reinforced its already thick skin. Despite its incredible bulk, like other manatees Managma is very docile and doesn't tend to attack, even though it wouldn't do much if it did.
Potential Competitive Role: Bulky fire types aren't very common due to their lack of resistances, but Managma's bulk will make up for that. Able to swap in on an array of ice type moves from pokemon like Weavile, and maybe threatening to burn with Flame Body if you choose to run it. Also has Thick Fat to eat Fire and Ice hits even better than it already can but can run its new ability to bait fire types and raise its own defense even higher.

Name: Magma Absorb
Effect: This Pokemon's Defense is increased by 1 stage if hit by a Fire Move; Fire Immunity
Permanent No
Mold Breaker Yes
Distribution: Managma. (Maybe Magcargo as well replacing Magma Armor?)
Justification: Managma is a thick boi Manatee, and instead of being hurt by fire moves, a pokemon that literally lives in magma should be fairly unaffected by fire moves.
Name: Kidmodo
Evolution: Komotide
Counterpart(s): Manatike
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Rough Skin / Water Absorb
Base Stats: 50 / 60 / 45 / 70 / 45 / 60 (330 BST)
Height: 0.8m
Weight: 44.4(kg)
Notable Moves: Scald, Surf, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Flip Turn, Shadow Ball, Liquidation, Psychic Fangs, Ice Fang, Crunch.
Flavor/Design: Komodo Dragon that instead lives its life under the water, learning to use ranged attacks and defends from physical attacks with its tough and scaley skin, able to eat hits better or deflect physical attackers at will.
Potential Competitive Role: bruh 2

Name: Komotide
Pre-Evolution: Kidmodo
Counterpart(s): Managma
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Rough Skin / Storm Drain
Base Stats: 70 / 55 / 85 / 115 / 85 / 110 (520 BST)
Height: 2.8m
Weight: 129.2 (kg). Required for weight-based moves
Notable Moves: Scald, Surf, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Flip Turn, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Shore Up, Aqua Ballet, Liquidation, Psychic Fangs, Ice Fang, Crunch.
Flavor/Design: Thriving in the deep depths, Komotide is larger than a normal Komodo Dragon, and much faster. Able to swim at high speed while hurling ranged attacks at a fierce rate, but can also use Aqua Ballet to make itself even fiercer. However through training its ranged abilities gave up all physical combat, and can not thrive against special walls as despite still knowing how to use those physical moves, it is very weak physically and cannot deliver those blows.
Potential Competitive Role: A strong special attacker able to set up with Aqua Ballet and sweep teams given the chance. Not the bulkiest pokemon so good priority attacks can take it down, especially Grassy Glide which would wipe this thing off the face of Loria. If given the chance to set up could become a big threat, but is still able to be stopped by Bulky Waters as it has no super effective moves against water, and special walls like Blissey since it has lost all physical presence.

Name: Aqua Ballet
Power: --
Accuracy: --
PP: 20
Category: Status
Type: Water
Effect: The user performs an underwater ballet, increasing its speed and special attack by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags: Dance, Snatch.
Distribution: Komotide. (Many water types and even other pokemon could get this move, it's a DD clone after all.)
Justification: A weaker Quiver Dance that also serves as a Special DD clone. For pokemon that might be a little much with Quiver Dance, but without the special defense boost becomes more bearable.

Counterpart Justification: Two animals that seem so different yet share some interesting characteristics. Their thick skin as Manatees are pure fat, and Komodo Dragons have extremely resistant scales, and their massive size, as Komodo Dragons are the largest lizard in the world, and manatees are massive (up to 3500 pounds!). By swapping their expected environments you get a hottub loving manatee and a fast water lizard, one with a unique ability, one with a unique move. They sit as polar opposites, with backwards homes.

Flavor/Design: The spots on its fur have changed into a pattern that resembles slashes and scars, emphasizing its Fighting-type, and its blue eyes are now amber, mirroring the growth of the real Florida panther. A cowlick of fur sits just behind its shoulders, again like the real animal.
Normally easygoing and lazy, Catamacho are boisterous fighters that will grapple and claw at their opponents when provoked.

Voting has begun!

For this slate, we will have a non-ranked vote, similar to that of FERU. You can vote for up to 5 evolutionary lines, which each line receiving 1 point for each vote. There will be about 5-6 winners, possibly more depending on how voting turns out.

Example:
Pokemon A
Pokemon B
Pokemon C
Pokemon D
Pokemon E

You may vote for up to 2 of your own submissions
Remember that if you're voting for a set of counterparts, you have to vote for both in one slot (so you don't have to use up 2+ slots but you also can't just vote for one)

Voting will close in 48 hours

Restrictorch, Hearow, Keisberg, Strontravank, Managma, Komotide, Kituff, and Punkey are in!
:bw/seviper:
Name: Restrictorch (Restrict + Constrictor + Torch)
Evolution: Conductorch (Level 40)
Typing: Fire/Electric
Abilities: Flash Fire, Drought, Solar Charge (HA)
Solar Charge: When in the sun, this pokemon has 1.5x attack but loses 1/8 of its health at the end of each turn (distribute to physical fire types)
Base Stats: 60 HP / 85 Atk / 65 Def / 65 SpA / 65 SpD / 80 Spe (420 BST)
Height (or length ig): 7 feet, 2.1336 meters
Weight: 15 kg
Notable Moves: Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, Wild Charge, Volt Switch, Defog, Substitute
Flavor/Design: Red and black snake with yellow design in the bottom center between the black on top and red on bottom. Thunderbolts are involved in the yellow design. Fangs are dull like a plug without a hole. Flame flicker for a tongue. Sharp tail.
Potential Competitive Role: (LC) Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Sun Setter, Sun Abuser, Hazard Control

Name: Conductorch (Conduct + Constrictor + Torch)
Typing: Fire/Electric
Abilities: Flash Fire, Drought, Solar Charge (HA)
Base Stats: 75 HP / 120 Atk / 80 Def / 65 SpA / 80 SpD / 115 Spe (535 BST)
Height: 9 feet, 2.7432 meters
Weight: 69 kg
Notable Moves: Flare Blitz/Fire Lash, Thunderstrike, Volt Switch, Solar Blade/Leaf Blade, Defog
Thunderstrike: 110 BP, 10 PP, Physical, 70% accuracy (100% in Sun), Contact, 30% chance of paralysis (Distribute to physically offensive Electric pokemon for a move better than fucking Wild Charge)
Flavor/Design: Really big and long, thin white dividers on back/top to represent solar panels, circular hole in between larger fangs to look like a plug, tail looks like a sharp USB plug or another single prong plug, yellow pattern has thunderbolts on it, lightning comes out of it like the flame tongue, which is also larger.
Potential Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Sun Setter, Sun Abuser, Hazard Control

They sit as polar opposites, with backwards homes.
little rework of an old sub

Name: Kittuff (Kitten + Tuft/Tough)

Height: 0.6 m
Weight: 13.5 kg
Notable Moves: Bite, Crunch, Frustration, Fury Swipes, Growl, Hone Claws, Return, Slack Off
Flavor/Design: The Florida panther is Florida's state animal, and I think it could make for a neat Normal-type. Nothing too fancy, basically the Meowth or Glameow for Loria.

Name: Catamacho (Catamount [meaning big cat, but usually refers to a cougar or panther] + Macho)
Typing:

Normally easygoing and lazy, Catamacho are boisterous fighters that will grapple and claw at their opponents when provoked.

I present to you the next slate!
----------------------
- Gift Pokemon -
:sm/castform::sm/simisage::sm/simisear::sm/simipour::sm/shuckle:

This slate focuses on the Pokemon you don't have to catch: Gift Pokemon. These Pokemon are simply given to the player without having to catch them, pay money for them, or trade for them. Especially in early generations, they tended to have some sort of unique gimmick, whether its Castform's weather based forms, Eevee and Tyrogue's multiple evolutions, or Zorua's Illusion. These Pokemon often act as either fun easter eggs, an important part of the story, or something to help out the player.
Rules
- You may sub whatever you want for this slate, but its flavor and/or competitive design must be related to being obtained as a gift Pokemon. Whether this means that it has some sort of gimmick, story significance, or something, it must be something along the lines of other gift Pokemon. You can see a list of gift Pokemon here.
- You may sub a group of 1-3 unique evolutionary lines. Each line must be a counterpart of each other if you submit multiple.
- Mega Evolutions can be subbed for your Gift Pokémon. Make sure to follow the rules of Mega Evolutions in the template

Gift explanation: The player is given a Lv. 5 Eevee by the professor midway through the main story after chasing the villainous team out of the amusement park. The professor explains that Eevee is a Pokemon that is rarely seen in Loria, but is nonetheless highly coveted, not only due to its ability to evolve into many different Pokemon, but also because its evolutions all have different variants in Loria than they do in other regions. (This would be the only Eevee you would obtain in the game without trading or breeding.)

Height: 2'7"
Weight: 57.1 lbs.
Notable Moves: Power Gem, Dark Pulse, Foul Play, Parting Shot, Moonlight, Rock Polish, Crystal Flurry, Tricky Ray
Flavor/Design: The hotter overall climate in Loria made it impossible for Lorian Glaceon to remain an Ice-type; even the colder areas aren't cold enough. It creates crystals that look remarkably like snowflakes, but while these crystals won't freeze you, they will pierce your skin if they hit you or you step on them.
New Features:

Flavor/Design: Lorian Sylveon gained the ability to fly when space dust from a shooting star fell to the planet and scattered around Loria. It often forgets that its trainer can't fly, so Lorian Sylveon will sometimes fly off thinking its trainer is with it, only to panic when discovering that it isn't.

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Gimmick of the Gift: Showcasing Loria’s own selection of Mega Evolution forms that isn’t seen anywhere else in the world.
American cheetah + revenant train (Two-stage line + Mega)
Name: Revetten (revenant + kitten)
Evolution: Reveneetah
Typing:

Abilities: Rattled | Steadfast
Base Stats: 55 HP / 55 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA / 55 SpD / 70 Spe (295 BST)
Height: 0.5 meters
Weight: 1.7 kilograms
Notable Moves: Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Bite, Crunch, Astonish, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Growl, Scratch
Flavor/Design: The Revetten line were used to be extinct from Loria through unknown reasons a thousand year ago before resurfacing as ghostly selves of their past. Timid yet quick-thinking, Revetten will run away in their own shadow if threatened.

Name: Reveneetah (revenant + cheetah)
Typing:

Abilities: Soul Strider* | Steadfast
Soul Strider: Ability from Brazdo region. Motor Drive for Ghost-type.
Base Stats: 82 HP / 93 Atk / 60 Def / 60 SpA / 90 SpD / 120 Spe (505 BST)
Height: 1.6 meters
Weight: 26 kilograms
Notable Moves: Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, Bite, Crunch, Astonish, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Growl, Scratch, Drain Fang*, Wild Charge, Shock Tail, Quick Attack, Double-Edge
Drain Fang: Physical Ghost-type move functionally similar to Leech Life (including BP, accuracy and PP) from Brazdo region.
Flavor/Design: While unable to run as fast as it used to a thousand years ago, Reveneetah became capable of quickly catching and devouring rogue souls and malevolent Ghost-type Pokémon. Any soul devoured by it will be stored inside it’s body, before being purified and released to either the afterlife, or the rumored concept of reincarnation.
Potential Competitive Role: Ghost-type Pokémon immune to Ghost-type, allowing to pressure opposing Ghost-type (especially important regarding Spectrier in single format or Calyrex-Shadow in later VGC formats) and capable of using Drain Fang as both decently good STAB and draining move.

Name: Mega Reveneetah
Mega Stone: Reveneetite
Typing:

Ability: Galvanize
Base Stats: 82 HP / 113 Atk / 70 Def / 70 SpA / 120 SpD / 150 Spe (605 BST)
Height: 1.7 meters
Weight: 28 kilograms
Flavor/Design: The mysterious Mega Stone discovered in Loria turns out to be compatible with Reveneetah, restoring their lost ability of electricity prior to their extinction as a living species. Lightning bolts started to sprout from their paws and taill and their spots become bright yellow.
Potential Competitive Role: Much higher speed and Galvanize allows Reveneetah to make use of Quick Attack or Double-Edge to circumvent potentially medicore physical Electric STAB (unless you’d think Shock Tail is good, even then Galvanize Double-Edge would be a lot stronger), but doesn’t have as much Attack as other physical oriented Mega Evolution. Double-Edge’s recoil damage and low Defense leave it vulnerable against priority moves, especially Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak, as well as physically bulky Ground-type Pokémon.

Gimmick of the Gift: Focus on Trace, parallel on Smeargle’s Sketch copying moves.
Toy robot + golden toad (Three-stage line)
Name: Goldot (Gold + dot + robot)
Evolution: Goltron - Level 20
Typing:

Ability: Trace
Base Stats: 60 HP / 60 Atk / 60 Def / 60 SpA / 60 SpD / 50 Spe (350 BST)
Height: 0.5 meters
Weight: 1.7 kilograms
Notable Moves: Recover, Bounce, Iron Head, Shock Wave, Magnet Bomb, Mirror Shot, Charge, Discharge
Flavor/Design: Goldot is a gold-colored man-made robotic Pokémon modeled like a toy robot with frog details. The wind-up key is always rotating clockwise when active, and only stops when asleep. Turning the wind-up key counterclockwise will cause it to go on a ten second long frenzy.

Name: Goltron (Gold + “tron”)
Evolution: Goldroid - Use Wind-Up on a total of ten times throughout the adventure
Typing:

Ability: Trace
Base Stats: 75 HP / 75 Atk / 75 Def / 75 SpA / 75 SpD / 50 Spe (425 BST)
Height: 0.7 meters
Weight: 2.2 kilograms
Notable Moves: Recover, Bounce, Iron Head, Shock Wave, Magnet Bomb, Mirror Shot, Charge, Discharge, Gear Shift, Wind-Up*, Calm Mind, Outrage
Name: Wind-Up
Power: Non-Damaging
Accuracy: —
PP: 15
Category: Status
Type: Steel
Effect: Raise user’s Special Attack and Accuracy by 1 stage each.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Snatch
Distribution: Goltron + Goldroid, Porygon-Z
Justification: Gives a good chance for the likes of lower accurate moves like Fire Blast, Focus Blast and Thunder while giving a boost to user’s Special Attack.

Flavor/Design: Developing sentience through advanced AI, Goltron is able to expresses emotions and feelings better than when it was as a relatively likited Goldot. It can perform the Wind-Up move in order to increase accuracy and prowess on Special moves at once, and is said to be the key for their maximum potential.

Name: Goldroid (Gold + android)
Typing:

Ability: Trace
Base Stats: 90 HP / 110 Atk / 90 Def / 110 SpA / 90 SpD / 50 Spe (530 BST)
Height: 1.5 meters
Weight: 55.5 kilograms
Notable Moves: Recover, Bounce, Iron Head, Shock Wave, Magnet Bomb, Mirror Shot, Charge, Discharge, Gear Shift, Wind-Up*, Calm Mind, Outrage, Steel Beam, Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Tackle, Sparking Leap, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Icicle Crash, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz, Hyper Beam, Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Leech Life, Giga Impact, Psychic Fangs, Close Combat, Triple Axel, Defog, Skill Swap, Switcheroo, Focus Blast
Flavor/Design: Built for special forces, Goldroid is more life-like with a nimble and flexible metal skin and endoskeleton, and is armed with a variety of moves allowing it to perform a variety of tasks. The wind-up key is still on it’s back, but is now pure aesthetic as it doesn’t need it anymore for building it’s life force. It does rotate faster when using Gear Shift or Wind-Up.
Potential Competitive Role: It is stuck with Trace which is inconsistent, but can exploit it by copying Magic Guard, Intimidate, Unaware, Protean / Libero, Magic Bounce, and Eternal Ice (at risk of always moving last for latter though). Goldroid also have a selection of great moves like Volt Tackle, Gear Shift, Switcheroo, Leech Life, Close Combat, Defog, Triple Axel and Recover, giving it role compression.
