Description/Role: Samurott is already great as a mixed sweeper and wallbreaker that has utility in Taunt/Knock Off, it's just outclassed by many other water types or sweepers in general mainly due to its low speed that gets it severely damaged. With its now boosted stats, it can now put up a fight without being afraid if it doesn't pack Aqua Jet. The new Bug type is mainly to boost Megahorn and resist against Grass moves. Flying types can't really reliably switch in without fear of Ice Beam either.

Description/Role: welp, for some reason, Samurott has access to Sacred Sword, which is fitting, but incredibly funny as it is the signature of the Swords of Justice, but alas, that and its design has made most of us agree that it deserves the Fighting type, as it fits its role and gives it a really good second STAB (pun intended) for everything it wants to do. Specs Breaker set is enhanced by boosted Spa, Speed, and the newly received STAB and STAB moves. As the SD Sweeper set does not need much to be good, it is only enhanced by the bettered speed and STAB-boosted Sacred Sword.

Description/Role: Extra Hp and Defense gives it enough bulk to check specs Lele and in general take resisted hits better. Additional speed lets it outrun non-scarf kartana and 110 base speed is a decent speed tier. Scorching sands and thunderbolt are coverage for Heatran and bulky waters respectively. Speed boost gives it a chance to sweep coupled with Calm mind. Finally, Parting shot gives it a way to pivot out of things that check it while weakening them for teammates.

Description/Role: Poison heal pivot that can check a lot of mons with its typing. It already has access to a nice movepool with moves like knock off and taunt so I decided to just give it a way to pivot. It becomes a pretty consistent check to threats like weavile and greninja(Protean and Battle bond) when poison heal is activated. Also checks non-grassium-z heatran. The changes to its stats are general quality of life changes; increasing its bulk and giving it enough speed to outspeed and threaten lando-t and kyurem with stab moves as well as other ground types and types weak to fighting.

Summary of Changes: None to stats.
Description/Role: Gives sand a scary sweeper with the sand force boost ; allowing torterra to break through some of its checks such as corviknight with z-move stone edge and a little chip. It's still prone to getting revenge killed by weavile ice shards and in general is weak to status but especially burns. With sand force it also hits really hard with earthquakes on neutral targets at +2. Its typing makes setting a hassle as its weak to common coverage in fire and ice and the omnipresent u-turn. Its low speed stat means it is still outspeed by some scarfers in the tier even at +2 speed.

Description/Role: Some of Samurott's dex entries mention it's cry being enough to intimidate most enemies. That and a lot of talking about it's glare being able to silence most enemies. Both of these help Samurott by giving it increased longevity, and ways to paralyze mons like Serperior does. I firmly believe Starter's stats should be at most 550, so I gave Samurott minimal boost to Special Defense, and a small speed bump that I hope would help it a bit. Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, and Vacuum Wave all give it Special Fighting STAB, although all have their ups and downs. Flip Turn is a very scary move when combined with Intimidate, as well as giving it pivoting options.

Description/Role: If Delphox can summon heavy rain, surely it can summon the thunder and lighting that would come along with it, right? It's a better choice than Grass Knot for Water Types. Magic Guard is much better than Magician, and gives it a massive boost by no longer relying on HDB, and even letting it run Life Orb without the damage. While not great, Teleport does help it against Pursuit trapping a bit, although I'd argue not a ton given its bulk. Nasty Plot gives it a nice way to boost it's offense quickly, making it more of a threat sooner than Calm Mind would.

Description/Role: Solid Rock gives Torterra a lot more survivability, as much as it still dies to basically any Ice attack. A large buff to attack and bulk at the cost of Speed and Special Attack that were hardly used gives it more bulk, along with Synthesis that it already carries. Grav Apple is an alternative to Wood Hammer that starts out weaker without having to worry about the recoil. Body Press works as coverage, or as an offensive move when running extremely bulky sets, and Aromatherapy gives it a way to support it's team in a way outside of Stealth Rocks setup.

Description/Role: Made many offensive sets much scarier with good STAB and adaptability, now samurott can also spam a strong flip turn on walls switching in, aura sphere is a good tool to break chansey/blissey if you decided to go all on special side. I see no need for buffing the speed stat since it would requires a lot of points to outpseed the base 80s and 90s, 70 is decent as a wallbreaker imo.

:torterra:: The proper Juggernaut that the Continent Pokemon should've always been, SR setting is easier than ever when little can switch into it, and the little stuff that can, can't even come close to OHKOing it. alas, now it gets Grav Apple to break the stuff that can't break it, an unmovable (unless you are an Ice type), unstoppable force (unless you are steel that flies) to be reckoned with.

Yeah, bugs, these are bugs with cool gimmicks, but that fall short because of several reasons, mainly being its typing. We are going to try to improve them in every aspect, hopefully giving them a niche even in OU.

Note: Typing changes are allowed, as long as you don't remove the Bug type from them.

Description: Accelgor recieves some quality of life changes such as a bulk upgrade, NP so it can also perform special wallbreaking sets easier, Sticky Web for BO, and to top it all off, Magic Bounce, which also fits its dex entries where it wraps itself in thin membrane. Magic Bounce is also there so it doesn't get taunted by Prankster Taunt mons like Grimmsnarl or Whimsicott or Taunt mons that are faster than it. It also destroys Torterra and some other walls.

The added bulk means sticky web sets are also much more viable, I love the fact that this thing threatens many defoggers.

Offensively, this mon is very threatening too, imagine switching into sludge bomb and get poisoned so now you received 1.5x more damage.

Description/Role
: Thunder Cage was added so that it could trap and take out any pokemon that could take out its sticky webs, such as Corviknight. it also has better bulk, 102/90/90 should let it take hits better. it could also opt for a offensive trapping set, since now it can easily take out certain threats to it such as Heatran. like with Galvantula, it was given Taunt to not let other pokemon easily remove its sticky webs with defog, though the rapid spin matchup will remain the same. Trace was added so it can trace some useful abilities, such as Magic Guard, Adaptability and others, such as Heatran's Flash Fire, wich makes its matchup against it even better. despite not beeing much, it was given 75 speed to outspeed certain pokemon for any offensive sets. though that speed tier probably wont let it outspeeed much unfortunately.

Description/Role: Although stag beetles aren't fast, I believe as Vikavolt charges up electricity it will speed up, so although it may not be a massive threat at first, once it gains speed it can utilize its 145 Special Attack to sweep teams. I wanted to keep its high special attack intact to allow it to wallbreak efficiently. Earth Power allows it to hit steels like Heatran, Melmetal, and Magnezone, but it still struggles to break SpDef Lando and Blissey since it has no way to increase its damage output.

Description/Role: Believed to be based on a ninja, why not let it take that stand by applying the dark type as it lurks in the shadows waiting to strike. Just when the opponent though they were safe, the ninja sneaks right passed substitute to strike when you least expect it. Able to utilize Nasty Plot and its new stab Dark Pulse to outpace and kill things like Dragapult with ease, however be wary of swapping into Pult risking a hefty Flamethrower as although its bulk is better than it used to be, it still isn't a very bulky pokemon so watch out.
