Both them and the Nidos are really similar at their bases, but have one thing that makes them opposites in a way, with the Nidos being gender and the bunnies being flavoring. Dark chocolate tastes kind of bitter, while milk chocolate is a bit more sweet, so their Pokedex entries and stats reflect that.

Well, personally, if stuff doesn't get added, I think we should probably consider revisiting them later on, instead of scrapping them completely.
