Have you ever eaten a slug? The French call it “escargot.” NU calls it Gastrodon. In reality, it's Gastrodon doing the eating, as it eats hits from Salazzle and Blastoise and punches back hard with naturally fantastic coverage. Ice Beam lets Gastrodon handle Grass-types like Rotom-C and Tsareena, and 88 Special Attack EVs allow Gastrodon to threaten an OHKO on big targets such as Alolan Exeggutor and Toxicroak. Naturally, teammates like Talonflame and Vileplume are needed as switch-ins to Grass-type attacks from Rotom-C, Copperajah, and Tsareena. Sylveon and Stakataka are special walls that complement Gastrodon with clerical and entry hazard support, as well as checking wallbreakers like Alolan Exeggutor and, in Sylveon's case, Sirfetch’d. In return, Gastrodon checks threats like opposing Stakataka and offensive Poison- and Water-types.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers

Have you ever eaten a slug? The French call it “escargot.” NU calls it Gastrodon. In reality, its Gastrodon doing the eating, as it eats hits from the likes of Salazzle, Tyrantrum CC 2HKO's your spread and Outrage does like 80, Head Smash is also a roll to 2HKO. , and Diancie Blastoise You beat Diancie but a lot does rn, wouldn't really consider Diancie a threat in the current meta (although I think it will make a comeback :o). It hits backs with good coverage, and Ice Beam nails Grass-types that try to switch in. Storm Drain differentiates Gastrodon from Quagsire as Gastrodon nets switch-ins from Vaporeon and Starmie to then spread Toxic. and punches back hard with naturally fantastic coverage and 88 Special Attack EVs ensures Gastrodon OHKOes Alolan Exeggutor and Toxicroak after Life Orb chip damage allows Gastrodon to threaten an OHKO on big targets such as Alolan-Exeggutor and Toxicroak while also 2HKOing other Grass-types such as Rotom-Mow and Tsareena. Naturally, teammates like Talonflame and Vileplume are needed great as switch-ins to Grass-type attacks coverage from Rotom- Mow, Copperajah, and or Tsareena. Sylveon and Stakataka is a special wall are special walls that compliments Gastrodon for respective clerical and hazard support and checking wallbreakers like Alolan Exeggutor and in Sylveon's case, Sirfetch’d. In return, Gastrodon checks threats like Stakataka and offensive Poison- and Water-types, respectively.
QC 1/1 :o
