[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its great Speed and Calm Mind, Galarian Ponyta is a decent special setup sweeper. Calm Mind helps Galarian Ponyta set up on foes like Koffing. Mystical Fire hits Steel-types such as Ferroseed and Pawniard hard, and it also helps Galarian Ponyta set up on special attackers like Natu by lowering their Special Attack. Morning Sun gives Galarian Ponyta good longevity and allows it to set up Calm Mind more easily. Pastel Veil eases set up, especially against Poison-types.

Calm Mind Galarian Ponyta is best used late-game as a cleaner. However, its physical bulk isn't good, and therefore it can get easily trapped by the likes of Diglett or removed by strong physical attackers like Grookey. Trapinch is a solid partner, as it can deal with opposing trappers and eliminate troublesome Pawniard. Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Timburr can lure in Poison-types for Galarian Ponyta to eliminate and force out foes like Pawniard, as well as absorb Knock Off for it. Walls like Ferroseed can deal with Dark-types such as Carvanha. Grookey and Pawniard synergize well with Galarian Ponyta by dealing with checks like Frillish, and in return, Galarian Ponyta can pressure Fighting- and Poison-types.

Substitute can be used to avoid Sucker Punch and status moves from the likes of defensive Porygon. Berry Juice works well with it, and it removes the need to run Morning Sun. Galarian Ponyta can also make use of its decent Attack stat with powerful moves like Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Play Rough, Low Kick, and High Horsepower. Wild Charge targets foes like Natu and Frillish. High Horsepower and Low Kick target Steel-types, OHKOing the troublesome Pawniard after Stealth Rock. However, Play Rough, as well as Dazzling Gleam, provide redundant coverage in practice, with moves like Low Kick covering relevant Dark-Types better.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Pawniard**: Pawniard is a serious threat to Galarian Ponyta, as it can eliminate it with either Sucker Punch or Knock Off. Galarian Ponyta can deal with Pawniard with its coverage moves like High Horsepower, Low Kick, and Mystical Fire; however, Mystical Fire does activate Pawniard's Defiant.

**Carvanha**: Carvanha can easily switch into Calm Mind Galarian Ponyta, as it is immune to Psychic, threatens it offensively, and can pivot with Flip Turn.

**Trappers**: Diglett can trap Galarian Ponyta and threaten it with Earthquake and Beat Up, though it cannot switch in. Trapinch can threaten Galarian Ponyta using priority in First Impression, and its bulk lets it survive most hits from Galarian Ponyta.

**Special Walls**: Frillish and Munchlax can keep Galarian Ponyta in check and give it a hard time setting up with Calm Mind. Frillish can cripple it with Will-O-Wisp and threaten it with a super effective Hex, while Munchlax can set up with Curse and paralyze it with Body Slam.

**Slowpoke**: Slowpoke resists both of Galarian Ponyta's listed attacks, taking them well even after Calm Mind boosts. Slowpoke can paralyze it with Thunder Wave or pivot to a threat using Teleport.

Thanks to its great Speed stat and access to Calm Mind, Galarian Ponyta finds a place in teams as a decent special setup sweeper. Calm Mind helps Galarian Ponyta target bulky threats such as Porygon (Be more specific; Pony-G can't set up on Trace Porygon because of Thunder Wave. Mention Koffing here as well.) . Psychic applies pressure to Poison- and Fighting-types as well as targets like Mudbray and Onix. Mystical Fire is a coverage move that targets and OHKOes or 2HKOes Steel-types such as Ferroseed and Pawniard. Morning Sun is a solid recovery move that allows Galarian Ponyta to stay longer in and set Calm Mind. The presented Evs spread in conjuction with Timid nature maximizes Galarian Ponyta's offensive potentional while Pastel Veil allows it to avoid getting poisoned and setting a timer on it. (Mention that Pastel Veil makes it easier to set up on opposing Poison-types.) Eviolite is the item of choice as it boosts Galarian Ponyta's defenses and lets it set up Calm Mind while taking some hits.

Calm Mind Galarian Ponyta is best used in late-game as a cleaner. However, its physical bulk isn't good and therefore it can get easily trapped by the likes of Diglett or removed by strong physical attackers like Grookey. Trapinch is a solid partner as it is able to deal with opposing trappers while it can also eliminate troublesome Pawniard. Stealth Rock and Spikes support from the likes of Mudbray and Ferroseed is appreciated as it weakens foes into KO range for Galarian-Ponyta to sweep late-game. Mudbray can also act as a dependable physical wall thanks to its bulk and ability in Stamina, checking threats like Ponyta. Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Timburr can lure in Poison-types for Galarian-Ponyta to eliminate and force out foes like Pawniard while also absorbing Knock Off for it. Defensive walls like Ferroseed and Mareanie can deal with Dark-types such as Carvanha. (Mareanie isn't a great Carv answer; I wouldn't mention it here) Grass-resistant foes such as Ponyta can help Galarian-Ponyta handle Grookey. Grookey and Pawniard can synergize well with Galarian-Ponyta as they can deal checks like Frillish and Galarian-Ponyta can pressure Figthing-, and Poisoin-types in return.

Remember, it's Galarian Ponyta, not Galarian-Ponyta.

Life Orb is another option for extra damage to foes. Substitute can be used to avoid Sucker Punch (Also status attacks from defensive Pory, etc.) while it gives Galarian-Ponyta more time in wearing down foes by using its attacks. Mention Berry Juice in conjunction with Substitute.) Galarian-Ponyta can also make use of its decent Attack stat due to its access to powerful moves like Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Play Rough, and Double Kick. Double Kick is a good move that targets Steel-types and OHKO the troublesome Pawniard. (The Berry Juice set actually isn't OHKOed by Double Kick; replace that mention with High Horsepower, which does after Stealth Rock.) Wild Charge targets foes like Natu, Zen Headbutt targets Poison-types like Foongus, and Play Rough targets Dark-types. Dazzling Gleam is another move that can target Dark-types. (When talking about the Fairy-type attacks, mention that they have redundant coverage and Pony-G has better options for hitting relevant Dark-types.)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark Types**: Pawniard is a serious threat to Galarian-Ponyta as it can eliminate it with priority in Sucker Punch or Knock Off. Carvanha, after one Speed boost, is able to outspeed and OHKO Galarian-Ponyta without a problem.

**Trappers**: Diglett can trap and threaten Galarian-Ponyta with its attacks. Trapinch is able to threaten Galarian-Ponyta using priority in First Impression.

**Special Walls**: Frillish and Munchlax can keep Galarian-Ponyta in check and give it a hard time setting Calm Mind while also hitting it back with their attacks.

**Slowpoke**: Slowpoke reisists every attack from Galarian-Ponyta even after Calm Mind boost.

**Choice Scarf users**: Choice Scarf Mienfoo can threaten Galarian-Ponyta with Knock Off or U-Turn chip. Charmander is able to OHKO Galarian-Ponyta if it is under sun.

1/2 when this is implemented. Make sure to give this a read-over as well; there are a number of spelling and GP errors that should be fixed before this goes into GP. [gali, 107567]

Thanks to its great Speed stat and access to Calm Mind, Galarian Ponyta finds a place in on teams as a decent special setup sweeper. Calm Mind helps Galarian Ponyta target bulky threats such as Koffing. (What does this mean? I think what you mean is that CM lets Pony set up on mons like Koffing. I would include some other examples of what it sets up on too) Psychic applies pressure to Poison- and Fighting-types, as well as targets like Mudbray and Onix. Mystical Fire is a coverage move that targets, and OHKOes or 2HKOes hits Steel-types such as Ferroseed and Pawniard hard. (Mystical Fire doesn't OHKO either mon before a boost, so I'd rather keep this description general. Also mention how Mystical Fire helps Pony set up on special attackers by lowering their SpA) Morning Sun is a solid recovery move that allows Galarian Ponyta to stay longer in and set Calm Mind. The presented Evs spread in conjunction with Timid nature maximizes Galarian Ponyta's offensive potential, while Pastel Veil allows it to avoid getting poisoned and makes it easier to set up against Poison-types. Eviolite is the item of choice as it boosts Galarian Ponyta's defenses and lets it set up Calm Mind while taking some hits.

Stealth Rock and Spikes support from the likes of Mudbray and Ferroseed is appreciated, as it weakens foes into KO range for Galarian-Ponyta to sweep late-game. (Pony G doesn't need hazards more than any other mon, so I'm cutting this) Mudbray can also act as a dependable physical wall thanks to its bulk and ability in Stamina, checking threats like Ponyta. (Ponyta isn't a huge problem for Pony-G and Mudbray doesn't check it that well anyway) Fighting-types like Mienfoo and Timburr can lure in Poison-types for Galarian-Ponyta to eliminate and force out foes like Pawniard, while also absorbing Knock Off for it. Defensive walls like Ferroseed can deal with Dark-types such as Carvanha. Grass-resistant foes such as Ponyta can help Galarian-Ponyta handle Grookey. (You literally can't run both Pony and Pony G together) Grookey and Pawniard can synergize well with Galarian-Ponyta, as they can deal checks like Frillish and Galarian-Ponyta can pressure Fighting-, and Poison-types in return.

Life Orb is another option for extra damage to foes. (Which foes? Also, I would move this sentence later in the paragraph since LO isn't very good right now) Substitute can be used to avoid Sucker Punch and status moves from the likes of defensive Porygon, while Berry Juice is a good item of choice with Substitute. (Mention that Berry Juice lets Pony G forgo running Morning Sun) Galarian-Ponyta can also make use of its decent Attack stat due to its access to powerful moves like Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Play Rough, and High Horsepower. High Horsepower targets Steel-types and OHKO the troublesome Pawniard after Stealth Rock. Wild Charge targets foes like Natu and Frillish. Zen Headbutt targets Poison-types like Foongus, and Play Rough targets Dark-types. (Play Rough only hits Carv super-effectively, which Wild Charge already does) Dazzling Gleam is another move that can target Dark-types. However, Dazzling Gleam and Play Rough have redundant coverage and Galarian-Ponyta has better options of dealing with Dark-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark Types**: Pawniard is a serious threat to Galarian-Ponyta, as it can eliminate it with priority in Sucker Punch or Knock Off. Carvanha, after one Speed boost, can outspeed and OHKO Galarian-Ponyta without a problem. (We should separate Carv and Pawniard, because while they're both Dark-types, they don't do the same thing at all. Pawniard's section should also include 1) Defiant boosting from Mystical Fire and 2) it being threatened by coverage like Mystical Fire and Low Kick. Carv's section should mention that it can switch into CM Pony and threaten offensively and pivot with Flip Turn)

**Trappers**: Diglett can trap and threaten Galarian-Ponyta with its attacks Earthquake and Beat Up, though it cannot switch in. Trapinch can threaten Galarian-Ponyta using priority in First Impression. (Mention how Trapinch's bulk lets it survive most hits from pony g)

**Special Walls**: Frillish and Munchlax can keep Galarian-Ponyta in check and give it a hard time setting Calm Mind while also hitting it back with their attacks. (I would rather be more specific about what Frillish and Munchlax do - mostly that Munchlax can set up with Curse and para with Body Slam)

**Slowpoke**: Slowpoke resists every attack from Galarian-Ponyta, even after Calm Mind boost. (Mention that Slowpoke can paralyze it with Thunder Wave or pivot to a threat with Teleport)

**Choice Scarf users**: Choice Scarf Mienfoo can threaten Galarian-Ponyta with Knock Off or U-turn chip. Charmander can OHKO Galarian-Ponyta if it is under the sun. (I don't think we need this, since neither scarfer mentioned is that common and Pony-G isn't threatened by scarfers more than anything else)

Tag me when implemented and I'll stamp for 2/2. I made a lot of edits, but it's mostly to improve clarity or better communicate what the mon does.
