Frillish, traditionally a wall, can also use a Choice Scarf set, 2HKOing most neutral targets with its powerful Water Spout. It is particularly adept at revenge killing Magby, which improves its team's matchups against hyper offense. Ice Beam targets Grookey, OHKOing its Life Orb set while severely damaging its Eviolite set. Choice Scarf Frillish is primarily used with reliable entry hazard control, which lets it stay at high HP to fire off fully-powered Water Spouts; Spikes also secures many 2HKOs for it. Drilbur can keep entry hazards off the field with Rapid Spin while also providing Stealth Rock and checking Magnemite. Pivots like Larvesta and Mienfoo safely bring Frillish into play and help it handle Grookey and Pawniard, which give Frillish trouble.

Frillish is a powerful Choice Scarf user in Little Cup, who's brutally strong Water Spouts 2HKO almost all non resists after a spike. (What we want to highlight for Frillish particularly is how it has seen a surge in usage as a Choice Scarf user, since it has primarily been used as a specially defensive wall before. This needs to be in the first sentence.) It is particularly adept at revenge killing Magby, a Belly Drum sweeper commonly seen on screens, but it cannot revenge kill speed boosting sweepers and many Scarf users.(You are on the right track, but the second part of the sentence is unnecessary) It is particularly adept at revenge killing Magby, which improves the matchups against hyper offense teams. Its spread is max Speed and max Special Attack, with leftover EVs in HP due to Little Cup mechanics, while the moveset fits STAB moves to be used if Water Spout gets weakened, and Ice Beam to OHKO non Eviolite Grookey.(We don't explain max/max spread unless significant, and this is generally obvious information) Ice Beam targets Grookey, OHKOing Life Orb variants and severely damaging Eviolite Grookey. Due to needing to stay at full health and have hazard support to reach some critical benchmarks, It is most often seen on Drilbur hazard stack bulky offenses, which can also handle the sweepers Frillish cannot beat. Pivot support is also needed to keep it at full health to fire off water spouts.(This information is extremely vague. What is Drilbur hazard stack bulky offense??? What are some pivots that can be mentioned?) Choice Scarf Frillish is primarily found on teams that possess reliable entry hazard control, which lets it stay at high HP to fire off fully-powered Water Spouts, and pivot support. Drilbur can ensure that entry hazards are off the field with Rapid Spin while also providing Stealth Rock and checking Magnemite. Pivots like Larvesta and Mienfoo safely bring Frillish into play and help it handle Grookey and Pawniard, which give Frillish trouble. Scarf Frillish is specific and limited, but if unleashed it is truly devastating, and using it can drastically improve your hyper offense matchup.

Want to see Choice Scarf Frillish use Water Spout? Look at the SCL replay below. (I'm not sure showing a replay of it losing is the best idea)

Frillish, traditionally used as a bulky a wall, can also use a Choice Scarf set, whose powerful Water Spout 2HKOes nearly all Pokemon who do not resist the move after one layer of Spikes. 2HKOing most Pokemon with its powerful Water Spout. Implemented; I replaced the word Pokemon in "2HKOing most Pokemon with its powerful Water Spout." with neutral targets because there are a lot of water resistant Pokemon bulky enough to drastically change the way you would play Frillish.
