HP:165
Attack:75
Defense:80
Sp. Atk:40
Sp. Def:45
Speed:65

Pros:

- Has very very high hp, resulting in excellent support with wishes effectively giving most Pokémon 2/3 of their health back or more depending on the pokemon.
- One of the best answers to tera water floatzel and barraskewda which helps balance and bulky teams be able to switch into it and not crumble from repeated assaults.
- Regenerator is an excellent ability to have on such a Pokémon, being able to burn wishes less for itself means it can focus on keeping its teammates alive, something scream tail or umbreon cannot do at all or replicate.

Cons:

- Passive, it is really passive outside of mirror coat shenanigans, whirlpool damage, or forcing chip damage on pokemon via rocky helmet. This means that it is free switch ins for many pokemon to just come on it and take advantage on it
- Poor special bulk means it can easily be taken advantage of via pokemon such as rotom-c, rotom-wash, special setup sweepers, taunt users, and more.
- Status ailments such as Toxic poison and burn hinder Alomomola's ability to act as a wall, as it cannot perform its role on a team properly when taking too much chip damage.

Terastalizing Potential:

Grass: This turns its electric, and grass weakness into resistances and still makes it an excellent rain counter by being able to take electric attacks in a pinch.

Steel: Makes it toxic immune which means that pokemon such as quagsire cannot status it and make it have to burn more wishes for itself and spend less time healing its teammates.

Potential Sets:

Defensive

Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Chilling Water
- Whirlpool
- Wish
- Protect

This fits on mainly stall teams as a way to deal with rain and being able to heal teammates up such as tinkaton on stall teams or to make sure they do not burn recovery PP like no tomorrow taking attacks from Pokémon they have to counter. With a a huge HP stat, and a solid Defense stat, which allow it to blanket check a huge portion of the physically based metagame which is nice for a team to have for a stall team. However, Alomomola is a pretty passive Pokémon because of its almost non existent options to pressure Pokémon since it lost scald, toxic, and knock which are key components in pressuring them, which means that it is a great fit on stall teams because of its traits. It can work on balance if you really need a wish user and a solid concrete answer to floatzel and barraskewda but there are less passive options that do not give up a lot of momentum such as scream tail for wish and slowbro, altaria, gastrodon, salamence, rotom-wash, and more that do not forfeit momentum easily.

Alomolas longevity is among the best in UU. It can easily take most physical hits and is a great check to many popular threats such Tinkaton and other water types. It is also one of the few Pokémon that can trap things with Whirlpool effectively. On the other hand it is pretty passive and can turn into a set up fodder for many dangerous threats. Notably most sets can't touch Gastrodon and Quagsire. I have found it is good user of Body Slam to spread paralysis and also works well with a Rocky Helmet to rack up additional damage.
