Feraligatr is dancing its way back into the metagame! Boasting terrifying Sheer Force-boosted attacks alongside Dragon Dance, as well as respectable bulk, this Gator shreds even prepared teams after a boost. Waterfall and Crunch together provide near unparalleled coverage for Feraligatr, letting it clean up weakened teams with ease. Ice Punch allows it to nail Dragon- and Grass-types such as Dragonite, Garchomp, and Breloom that don't fall to the former two attacks. Ice Beam lets Feraligatr lure and KO a chipped Tangrowth, which otherwise stonewalls traditional Ice Punch variants. Feraligatr is a stellar pick on hyper offense teams, especially ones utilizing Dual Screens, so partnering it with the likes of Garchomp, Scizor, and Lucario is really effective. Other offensive Water-types such as Azumarill, and Cloyster also form a potent Water-spam core alongside it, overloading their shared checks. Alongside Ice Beam sets, Tyranitar and Breloom are notable partners, as they appreciate Feraligatr luring in and removing Tangrowth for them.
