[SET COMMENTS]
* Sturdy and Sitrus Berry allow Donphan to always get a Substitute up. This allows Donphan to beat Choice item Pokemon like Meowscarada and Chien-Pao, regardless of whether they go for an OHKO or not.
* Earthquake is Donphan's strongest STAB move, beating Pokemon like Magnezone and Clodsire.
* EVs are put into Attack and Defense to deal the most damage and help with physical attackers, since physical attacks rarely activate Sturdy.
* 0 Speed IVs allow Donphan to be as slow as possible, which lets Substitute be used after slow threats like Dondozo and Garganacl move, creating a free turn to use Endeavor or Substitute again. 0 Special Defense IVs are used to activate Sturdy more often.
* Donphan should almost always use Substitute turn 1. Donphan should continue to use it until its HP does not allow it to do so, proceeding to use Endeavor + Ice Shard to go for the KO.
* An exception to this rule is that if Donphan can 2HKO with a combination Earthquake and Ice Shard, it should do that instead, such as against Choice item Dragapult, Magnezone, and Clodsire.

* Endeavor is used to get a foe in KO range of Ice Shard. this gets mentioned later on, fine to remove here
* Earthquake is Donphan's strongest STAB move, beating Pokemon like Magnezone and Clodsire.

(could mention HP allows Donphan another sub, may be common knowledge but if it isn't then could be good here)
qc chat mentioned that the HP actually needs to be changed to be 0 HP EVs. HP doesn't allow another sub, just gets donphan to 1 HP after 5 Substitutes (with Sitrus Berry)

(I imagine something like this makes sense? change if desired. if i'm totally off the mark, maybe elaborate a bit, because I assume just sturdy+endeavor+ice shard donphan without sub beats eg choice item chien pao that goes for ice move)
