GENERATION SIX TEAM ARCHIVE!
Hey guys! ORAS will be done in about a week, and with most of us finished with BSPL, it's time to let out everything we've been holding back and showcase all our best teams we've used this generation! This is the thread to say goodbye and archive your most memorable teams from XY and ORAS, immortalizing them for all time.

Rules:

1: One post per person, if you wanna add teams, edit your post.
2: Post in Pokemon Showdown importable format, in hide tags.
3: Put a little description of your team, about 5 sentences or so. How you thought of it, how it works, etc. You can put a few replays of it in action as well.
4: Both XY and ORAS are okay!
5: Any format is acceptable, if it was playable on Battle Spot at some point in time. This includes stuff like special ladders and online competitions.
6: You can post a team that someone else made, if it was a team that you used often and are known for using. But please give the original builder a credit. If it's a Japanese team and you're unsure of the builder, just say it was a Japanese team.
7: Use this link to get the minisprites: http://fulllifegamer.bplaced.net/format.php
Just copy and paste your importable into there, set it to "sprites" and then copypaste the BB Code output.
8: If you have a team you're particularly proud / fond of then we encourage you to consider going to the Rate My Team forum and showcase it there. This thread is more for dumping all your teams, but the best ones should go in RMT!

Now that you've read all that, post away!

I'll start off! Just a rule of thumb, most of the time I just name a team after whatever I happen to be listening to at the moment. So they don't always make sense. These are all singles teams.

The first three teams I have are like the "trinity" of teams I used to start learning Battle Spot Singles the correct way, earlier this year. They were all made by NOVED and he shared them with me. He kinda forgot about them though, so yeah.

Another generic solid team, that uses two powerful cores, Cresselia + Mega Charizard X and Tyranitar + Sand Rush Excadrill. I discovered how good Cress and Zard was with this team, it basically allows Zard X to be both a wallbreaker and a sweeper. Specs Rotom is another awesome pivot and wallbreaker, and Greninja is always good too.

No actual giraffes on this team, sorry! Like I said, it's just based on what I was listening to at the time. (it's really your ass, not giraffes)

Anyhow, this team is interesting by the Choice Scarf Pangoro, which is actually an amazing Kanga counter! It resists Sucker Punch 4x and slightly outspeeds it, OHKOing with Superpower. Parting Shot makes it an interesting pivot as well. The rest of the team is pretty standard.

This team was made by Psynergy, and is an extreme meme team. I became kinda well-known for using it a lot in roomtours, and it was my introduction to gimmick teams. Basically it revolves around using powerful recharge moves, and using Ditto to capitalize on Pokemon that try to set up during the recharge turn. Psynergy based it on an ubers team and I'm sure he'll have a lot more to say 'cause he's the actual mastermind, I'm just the name guy.

This is a Japanese team that was passed around by Joint Cena and GroudonEmpire and I eventually got around to it. The main thing that interested me was learning from NOVED that Mega Steelix OHKOs Kangaskhan after one Curse. So I had to get my hands on it and try it. It ended up becoming another one of my signature teams, and actually made Mega Steelix become one of my favorite Pokemon (hence why it's in my banner now). Some alternate versions of the team use Lapras over Breloom. Cresselia Trick Room into Lunar Dance to Steelix = $$$$

Co-build this team with NOVED, but I'm not really proud of it, to be honest. It was more of an experimental thing but I don't think the team ever turned out very good. It inspired by early XY OU, where everyone was coming up with wackier and wackier sets to try to counter Aegislash. Fuzznip dropped in Krookodile one day. Aegislash eventually got banned in OU, but it was around in BSS, so why not try to counter it with Krookodile here too? There were some fun games with it, but I don't think it turned out well overall. We got this fun game though: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-368107467

Another Japanese team that NOVED and I adapted. At the time we were writing an article about Mega Charizard X in BSS, so we were looking at teams that used the Will-o-Wisp defensive set, and found this one on a Japanese stream. Zard uses Jolly on this one though, so it can get the burn on Kangaskhan before getting it. Other than that, there's not much notable about the team except for the Life Orb Salamence, which is a pretty good lure. The team kinda struggles with actually breaking down defensive teams sometimes though, kinda hard to bring all the Pokemon you need.

My latest team, it was a collaborative effort with soLerme and maxgamer 1, and then refined by Psynergy. Pretty proud with how this team turned out. It was supposed to be a Trick Room team with Choice Band Tyranitar, with Cofagrigus as a setter and Kangaskhan counter, along with Bronzong. But it didn't really go so well, so Psynergy suggested changing to Porygon2 and Jellicent. Tried to stay unique, but honestly the team works way better with those setters, inside Trick Room and out.

There's one more team, but it's going to be a full RMT. So stay tuned!

This was the first team I ever had much success with on the PGL BSS ladder, and allowed me to briefly appear on the US top 10 list now and then. This team was built around Mold Breaker scarf Excadrill who nicely handles Talonflame, Gengar, Rotom, Volcarona, adamant Mega Blaziken and adamant Charizard X at +1 speed .. to name a few. Para-flinch Togekiss has complimentary typing and play style, and Breloom also partners well with Excadrill. Zapdos and Sableye are relatively safe switches against Kangaskhan, Garchomp, and Salamence. Adding Blaziken to pair with Zapdos was mostly an afterthought, but it is a good core. I also found opponents tend to fixate on the Zapdos-Blaziken core at team preview and choose a lead Excadrill matches against favorably. Lastly, the thrill of turning a match I otherwise would have lost with a flinch or a scarfed Horn Drill made this team pretty fun.

Since i'm going to make a RMT out of my main team, i'll post here the other teams i've had for BSPL.

This team rotates around 2 factors: Heracross being surpricingly fast even tho there is the notorious TR Cresselia/Tran/hera core, and Mence being a special attacker. Both of them run substitute, trying to take the advantage of Swampert's Yawn/SR support or just for the "surprise factor". A lot of time i was able to set subs vs mons such as adamant loom, zapdos, cresselia that were going for status moves. There is not much else to say, i've built this team a little bit randomly and it's not that elaborated. But well, it worked in ladder, so...

You guys know me, i'm biased to nichemons. I really wanted to use Froslass, so i was like "k it has t-wave, blastoise needs speed suports, who cares let's put them togheter". I built the team, and its even working rofl.
I mostly go with this two cores: froslass/blastoise/ferro or garchomp or garchomp/ferro/blastoise, just twaving everything i can, bar ground types that are taken out by either frosty or blastoise. Destiny Bond helps a lot too, potentially taking out a threat or just fishing for a switch out to paralyze another mon/deal some damage. Pretty simple team.

This team is built around Charizard and Swampert because Swampert can provide Wide Guard support for Charizard which destroys grass-types for Swampert. Heatran was added as my steel-type because I didn't need Wide Guard support from Aegislash and Heatran has better synergy with Swampert. The rest of the mons were added to help beat common sun checks and patch holes in the team.

EVs: 252 HP / 172 Atk / 84 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Power Whip

I wanted to build a Salamence team and I felt that Ferrothorn was good partner as it could beat water-types with Ice Beam and fairy-types for Salamence. I added Rotom-W and Entei to finish an FWG core and they had good synergy with the rest of the team. I added Tyranitar next because it could beat common Salamence checks like Cresselia, Thundurus and Zapdos. Lastly I added Hp Ground Cresselia because I need some speed control and another way to beat Landorus and Heatran.

This is a team I based off one of my DOU teams, but I changed alot of the spreads and sets to make it better for BSD. I felt Metagross and Virizion had decent synergy as Metagross can beat fairy-types for Virizion which beats Heatran, Kangaskhan and Charizard for Metagross. Heatran, Landorus-T and Gengar can all damage Aegislash which is useful because it walls Metagross and Virizion. Gengar is really useful as it can check Trick Room and Landorus-t with Taunt and Icy Wind. Lastly I added Rotom-W to give the team another form of speed control and another Landorus-T check.

This is team that uses alot of strong spread attackers that work well under Trick Room. I started with Charizard and Cresselia as I felt Cresselia was the best Trick Room setter for this team as it could beat Landorus-t and power up Charizards strong attacks with Helping Hand. Amoonguss helps with get Trick Room up with Rage Powder and Spore and it works well with its low speed. Heatran and Conkeldurr work well as Trick Room attackers and work well with Charizard. Lastly Landorus-T helps patch up the rest of the teams weaknesses.

I built this team entirely around Torn-T, the previous 3 versions of this weren't triple genie but Thundurus happened to be a perfect fit on this team, and there's a fantastic feeling you get when you're capable of showing them off in team preview next to each other, as well as Tornadus/Landorus/Thundurus being a legitimate lead positioning against rain room, lots of fun happens. I built the entire team before Mawile (yes i forgot the mega), I literally used Mawile because the team was weak to Sylveon and I really wanted something to immediately pose a threat to it. The EV's on maw outspeed 12 speed sylveon, the others are self-explanatory. Fun team, I tried Sitrus Berry>Assault Vest with Protect>Grass Knot on Torn-T with helmet thundy before my net fritzed out, so I can't exactly stand by them barring what they did to low ladder, but regardless this was very fun to build and use. Weak as hell to sun, as dominant a rain matchup as it has though.

Have you thought to yourself the following, "I want people to know I use memes, but I also want to have as terrible a matchup against Talonflame as possible." Your prayers are answered! I thought about an admirable amount of threats while building, but the only reason I got anywhere in S16 with this team in singles is because people mistakenly thought I brought bulky thundy. I was too lazy to get a new thundy to mitigate the problem, though. Barring its massive talonflame problem, it's actually not that bad a team.

This a team that was built, played, and later improved upon in Season 14. The builder of this has gone into much bigger and much better things and has gotten higher than 2200 with their most recent build. I don't care. This is the single most raw Battle Spot Singles team that I've ever seen and played. I love it. It goes roughly how you expect it to, this is also one of the most SATISFYING "tr purely for momentum, you don't NEED tr though" teams that I've seen. It's literally the most satisfying team I have played, this person managed to make a team that's more me than I have.

This team barely failed to get top 100 in Season 17, and that's tragic. It looks so typical with just the icons, but it manages to be. So much more than that. Essentially it's a relatively simple hippoluc, with a strange snore sylveon set that literally exists only to beat breloom as hard as possible, a Serperior set that's a really strange take on the "panic button" role that people generally relegate to thundy wave. However, the best part of it is that it has two megas that are really capable of forcing switches, and two sets that are EXTREMELY capable of punishing those habits as hard as possible. I love playing this. Like LOVE love. It's so immensely satisfying to sub as their switch suddenly becomes a death sentence for them.

Note: I changed Extrasensory on the original specs gren for HP Fire, I really don't see much use in that since I got panic button Mirror Coat, as well as zardy and luke for venu.

I had many many many more BSS teams, but tragically my builder was wiped so I could only restore the stuff I either knew by heart, or had a pastebin of them in my browsing history. Oh well.

This is the team that I used vs Noved in the 1st week of BSPL. Originally it had Flame charge Zard Y for speed control but I decided to go with Overheat for the sheerpower (Nothing will be able to survive it), HP Ice OHKO any Garchomp, Lando T switch ins as well as hitting Dnite and other Dragons. No roost needed since this is a Hit something hard and switch Zard. These other mons support the mons that wall this Zard set :
Scarf Greninja without a doubt will surprise your opponent since they wont see it coming, out speeds +1 blaziken (dies to surf) and Mega Gengar with Scarf, It can also outspeed certain Mega mences at +1 as well.
The rest is pretty standard, Aegi is my Breloom spore counter thanks to the combination of Shadow Claw + Shadow Sneak, Bulky Thundurus-T to beat Flying types/water types also a it a nice electric ressist cause of Volt Absorb, good wallbreaker at that.
Mega Kanga is there for so people are forced to bring in their Physical defesinve walls such as cress/any other defensive wall with rocky helemet so Zard Y can destroy easily. Moveset is standard, Double edge is for power, Fake out is priority which is always nice, Ice beam kills Garchomp and has more chances to freeze the oppenent, EQ hits Aegi and Heatran + plus any other mon.
The team also helped me get +1500 on the PS ladder http://prntscr.com/d6tnb9 .This and the team below helped me reach over 1600+ on the PS ladder so its not a terrible team, feel free to try it out!

The team I also used vs Noved for Week 1 BSPL. Mons look exactly the same with the exceptions of 4 different but important movesets. This team consist of Zard X destroying everything (EVs I stole from a different Zard X team), unlike the 1st team which is just a weather spam haha I presonally think this team is more "tryhard" than the Zard Y team but both are really good teams that have helped me reach over 1600+ on the PS ladder. Zard X makes it the ultimate Sweeper after an SD and a Flame charge since it can OHKO almost anything after the SD except Cress
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cresselia: 186-220 (81.9 - 96.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
However, you still get outspeed by Scarf Chomp so I decided to keep Hippo the same but with rock tomb this time to give more speed control.
Sash Gren is an amazing lead (despite having hippo on my team) as well that can haddle almost anything (Grass knot 2hkos Suicune).
Zard + Hippo will always make a great core together regardless of what Zard it is. Rock tomb is for speed control, Yawn is for forcing the switch which can also gives Zard a free set up or deal damage.
The rest of the team stays the same Mega Kanga, Aegi, Thundurus T. Try this team out, its super fun!

Another Japanese team that is extremely fun to use that involves Sash Nidoking + AV Gastro. Used this team against Sopheon in week 5 of BSPL : http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-471324551
Nidoking is an absolute beast, the reason I decided not to use LO is because Nidoking is soooo frail that it pretty much dies to anthing without getting a powerful hit, however, Thanks to Sash it can live a hit and hit something pretty hard even without Life Orb. Kills Greninja with a Sludgewave/Earthpower + Sucker Punch so pretty much lead with it when you see a Gren haha.
Gastro is another powerful beast and my Suicune "counter" thanks to Fissure, the EVs make it live almost any Special atk that comes its way and it hits very hard suprisingly. Here are some calcs:

252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 228 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Gastrodon: 67-79 (31.1 - 36.7%) -- 68.9% chance to 3HKO.

Thundurus: 252 SpA Thundurus Grass Knot (60 BP) vs. 228 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Gastrodon: 108-128 (50.2 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Thundurus Focus Blast vs. 228 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Gastrodon: 105-124 (48.8 - 57.6%) -- 95.7% chance to 2HKO
While Ice beam 2HKOs it - 180+ SpA Gastrodon Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Thundurus: 102-120 (66.2 - 77.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery.

Mega Gengar Calcs: 252 SpA Mega Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 228 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Gastrodon: 67-79 (31.1 - 36.7%) -- 68.9% chance to 3HKO
180+ SpA Gastrodon Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gengar: 132-156 (97.7 - 115.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO.

As for the rest of the team, Sub Mega Heracross is really cool to avoid the will o wsp from the slow bulky rotomW and Scald from suicune doesnt break the sub.
Ttar is there for Mega Gengar. Cresselia provides excellent support to this team cause of Trick room + Lunar Dance to Mega Hera/Mega Mawile, Gastro, and Nidoking. Mega Mawile is there to laugh at your counter haha.
Also does well in in Ps ladder/tours http://prntscr.com/d6uelk (Ignore the Win/Loss ratio, this is the alt I use to test out teams haha)

This is the team I gave Jibaku in the Finals of BSPL featuring Mega Lucario without a Dnite/Hippo core. it's another fun team that is veru successful on the ladder if you wanna try out. The Lucario set is interesting because it doesnt have SD but it still hits hard thanks to adaptability which sets it apart from other physical lucarios that do run SD. Chomp is really good at toxic those fat mons such as P2, Cress, hippo and others since it can live an ice attacks thanks to the yache berry. Thundurus is bulky almost max def to take on those Garchomp and tank those physical walls, thanks to Nasty plot, you can break down any fat core that isnt Blissey olol. The rest is self explanatory Standard Mamo, CM cune with chesto, Mega Gengar has dazzling gleam to deal super effective damage to Dragon or Dark Types (Fuck Focus Miss), Usually this gengar kills a mon and tries to take the other mon down with Dbond. As simple as that.

I'll post more teams soon :) Sorry for it being tl;dr

Been waiting for BSPL to finish to post, so here it is. Be warned, if you're pasting into ps, on a few mons there are slashes and alt EVs.

BSD (a couple of vgc'15 teams, they've had succes on the ladder and irl)

Firstly, the team I used to top cut UK Nationals '15. My first year playing VGC, and my first year actually playing competitive mons as a little bit more than a casual hobby. I wanted to win.
A couple of months before the event I looked at M-Heracross and wondered why nobody was using it, 180 Atk and high base power moves seemed amazing. It beat Kang, Thund-I, Cress, still did well vs Heatran and Amoonguss, and though hindered by Landorus' intimidate could easily 1v1 the beast. These were a combination of mons I saw often and sought to beat, something that later came to be known as chalk-t.

Next is the team I used at the London Regional where I finished in the T8. I knew it was going to be Bo1 Swiss so I built this with that in mind. This version is a little more Cress weak than I'd like, so switching Conk for Scrafty is perfectly valid. For this one, I just wanted to use Sub-Toxic Aegi, after seeing it used well in Ubers I though it could transfer to doubles quite well where it could happily sit in front of most Kang+Cress and just win. The older version had Rotom-W + AV Landorus-T instead of Gyarados + Garchomp, the change was made as I was struggling with Timid CharY. Garchomp's fire resist and 102 speed let it fit in were Lando, for once, didn't.
Eventually stopped using this team, and leech seed M-Venu, as it felt like too often missing seeds meant almost losing a game right there. When they're focusing fire down on Venu you can't afford to lose a whole turn like that.

PGL Tours
Excluding ICs I only partook in one, Little Cup, and I happened to win it.

Still really happy with this team but I posted about it before here.

BSS
For the vast majority of the Wi-fi tour I used a M-Blaze, Specs Hydreigon, RH Cress core which I took from this blog (10th place S13). The basis of the core is that Blaziken can quite easily BP it's passive speed boosts to Hydreigon or Cress on common EQs and the occasional Psychic.
I switched up the remaining 3 mons based on matchups I may have faced. Though the original had LO Breloom, largely for Suicune, I found using a Sub-Seed Serperior to be very effective in that slot.
Here's a fun replay of one of the first times I used it http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-338631699

Now onto BSPL.
Week 2 Vs Joint Cena.
I had no idea what kind of thing he was gonna bring so I just went with a team I'd found recetly and grew to love quite quickly. Original - http://stronger3.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-1.html
I made quite a few edits (doesn't look like they had perfect IVs on legends), including minor adjustmants to EV spreads on Hera, Weavile, Suicune and Heatran. The biggest change was to Gourgeist, I thought the team looked fairly Blaziken weak so I gave Gourgeist an Occa Berry and changed it's EVs so it could live a LO Overheat after SR. This also helped with Volcarona.

Week 3 vs Teal6
I built this to play against what I had seen him using in previous weeks, prominently shadow tag stuff. He didn't bring any of that but I still won the set so all's good. I also had been wanting to use toxic wide guard Aegi for months so took the opportunity to use it.
I don't think Jolly weavile is very good, but on this team it's needed to smooth the Greninja match up
If I was to change it to be a more general team I'd swicth the Azu to a belly drum varient.

Week4 vs Anirav
Sylveon wearing a rocky helmet is a pretty cute image. it was on the last changes I made, towards the end it was either Defensive Togekiss + Scarf Garchomp or Defensive Sylveon + Scarf Landorus-T. I wanted a bulky Fairy with baton pass to synergise with Goth but also check dragon and dark stuff (paritcularly Hydreigon). In the end I thought a Sylveon was considerably stronger and that Quick Attack was almost too useful to pass up. When healthy, Sylv can 1v1 Jolly Kang, Mence and M-Blaziken to name a few. It also lures in Ferro for me to BP out to Goth, trick it specs and pp stall it until it struggles. Specs Goth is EVd to one-shot typical bulky M-Gengar. Heatran moves I was never really happy with, I want everything there but also HP Ice; sashed 'cause it's a good item and it was available.
This team needs work but I have enjoyed using it, except for when leech seed misses.

Finals vs bobochan
The past 3 weeks I played I used the same team for the whole Bo3, this was a long term setup for me to pull a ruse in the finals. This time I used the same 6 pokemon, but with differeing sets. I avoided using Charizard as I thought it might immediatly raise suspicion and instead went with a very standard kind of team.

I trawled the Japanese blogs searching for this setup, I was going for Volcarona teams as I wanted something that could beat the Espeon setups I've seen bobo use numerous times, around which you can't let down your guard.
I eventually found these 5. I played around with all of them and started to find it really difficult to pick which ones to use. I'm posting the 3 I used.

I used this team against maxgamer in game 1 of our BSPL match. Made some minor changes to it afterwards once I noticed some flaws. Your typical sand team featuring the T-Tar + Exca + Mega Mence core. Breloom is for the bulky waters that the core could not handle on its own, Suicune is there to check Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Gengar was there to trap and kill random stuff this team really wants out of the way. That includes Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Vensaur, Mamoswine (at times) and others I can't seem to remember. This is actually the oldest of the teams I've put on here, made it early back in the early ORAS meta and still managed to do some work in the late ORAS meta too. The Suicune set could probably be changed to your heart's desire as well, any moveset can work here.

The one and only Japanese team of the bunch that I've posted here. Features A Mega Lop + Goth combo along with some other supporting mons. I had tons of fun playing this team, I laughed evilly whenever I got Gothitelle into something bulky and managed to set up. Didn't get to use Goth much though, was kind of useless against offensive teams which are quite common in BSS.

Probably my favourite team to use when I'm laddering with a new alt. Completely destroys low ladder teams with players that don't know how to use them. I actually changed this team a bit quite recently as well, I used to have bulky Thundurus in place of Serperior but then I noticed that this team is pretty Mega Kangaskhan and Rotom-W weak when Kingdra is gone or not used. Taking out Thundurus did give this team sort of a Talonflame weakness, but there are numerous checks to it on this team so facing it wasn't too much of a problem. Note that Mega Swampert isn't the easiest Mega to bring out in a match so it won't see a lot of use on this team.

My second favourite team to play around with. This team is also the only team that I used to ladder BSS seriously in cart. Reached a peak of about 1750 but then I started making bad plays that led to loads of lost games so I sort of stopped laddering because I was salty for quite a while. I know this team has the capability to make it even further than that though. Anyways, made some changes to this team as well after my second game with maxgamer in my BSPL match. Volcarona was previously Quiver Dance + STABs + HP Ice with Lum Berry, Mence ran Substitute over Earthquake, and Sylveon ran a Specs set. Feel free to try those sets out if you want. However, this team has done better for me after the changes I've made so I decided to post this one instead. The Swampert set was really fun to use, I was honestly surprised on how bulky it is. Hippo would probably get the job done better but I made this team with the intention of using Swampert. Scarf Volc is nice, Mence destroys things after a DD, Thundurus checks flying types, Breloom deals with bulky waters, and Sylveon can wreck house after a few CMs. Overall a fun team to use and I'm proud of making it.

Not much to say here really. Standard BSS Zard-Y team. This team didn't see much use from me but when I did use it to ladder both ingame and on PS, I was not disappointed with the results. Not a fan of using Mega Kangaskhan but it was great on this team. ScarfNinja has saved my hide plenty of times too, the surprise factor on that set is awesome.

Definitely the most unique team I've ever made. The most recent as well. I haven't actually used this team yet, so there's probably a lot of things that need to be tweaked around. Thought I'd post it here in hopes of someone trying it out themselves and see what they think. I got inspired to make this team after getting wrecked by some Trick Room Dusclops + Mega Camerupt + Belly Drum Azu team on the PS ladder a few days ago.

I'd post my X&Y teams as well as they were a lot better than these, but sadly they all got wiped so rip. Looking forward to making and playing with more teams in gen 7 BSS and hopefully BSD too :)

Idk how hide tags work xd i tried every button,

Anyways, this is my team I really started competitve playing with. When I learned about the different playstyles bulky offense seemed very cool cause the mons can tank a hit and then do a lot of damage back. I kinda underestimated the importance of sped therefore though, so pretty much all my pokemon here are slow. I did get respectable ranks with it though and ended up at 1820. Florges was swapped for clefable and mandibuzz for reuniclus, to have a pokemon that dealed with the then very often used mega venusaur and also counter ferrothorn.

dittoswag is probably one of my favorite strats, and i wanted to build a team with it that played more offensively than the ones with glalie and such. i used another one of my favorite cores kangchomp cause its really strong, and my personal fav way to go about offense. kang+chomp+the threat of swagditto puts on a lot of pressure and clef/volc are good late-game finishers that can also kinda fuck with cress, which is p annoying for this team. & i was mostly inspired to make this because of this gbu team w/ dittoswag, CM goth, chomp and some other stuff, which rozes had a lot of success with in BSPL.

I tend to use Kang/Chomp teams quite a bit, and i think i did in BSPL as well. I wanted to mix up the kinds of teams i was using so i made this for week 4(i think), not only cause i didnt wanna get CT'd but also cause i try not to be too linear of a player so i like to play with stuff im not used to from time to time. But even my attempts at building balance are still pretty offensive. I like Thund over Zapdos in the BlazFerro core cause nasty plot is pretty nice and I value prankster twave quite a bit. Thund and Blaziken work really well together I think. I used a much more offensive gengar than im used to in this team cause i wanted to catch mence's with icy wind that i expected people to bring for blaz, tho that might be unnecessary since this team is kinda loaded with mence checks. & CM cune is pretty dope, wins me a lot of games vs balance.

Pretty much standard HeraCressTran complimented with my favorite core. I used various other mons with Hera/Cress/Tran before I made this team and I think this has been the most consistent for me. It did really well on the PS ladder, almost always smashing maxgamer and solerme. I actually think Kang/Chomp/Thund works very well here. Kang works great with the cress/tran core just like hera does, really appreciates the Lunar Dance. I ran a bulkier spread to potentially take advantage of TR sometimes, i like ice beam to use against mence that i expect people to pick when they see Hera. Thund is a more solid Mence/Talon check, and prankster twave helps a ton since my megas are slow & bulky. ScarfChomp helps vs various offensive stuff and works generally well with Kang. The team is pretty slow so i like having a good scarfer.

This is probably my oldest ORAS team, I really wanted to use Mega Slowbro when it was revealed and then GlisChansBro stall got really popular so I looked into it. This has been one of my favourite teams to use on the ladder as I just like all the mons individually, so having them all work together is really fun. This is the team that bailed me out and got a free win against Jhon in the Wi-Fi tour final when I realised he was styling on me hard

This was my first try at making a Mega Hera team, made it almost as early as the Glalie team above I think. Back at the start of ORAS we were all scared to death of Mega Salamence so I dedicated like the whole team to beating both it and Talonflame which in hindsight is pretty funny since it doesn't look like a great team. It's definitely not terrible, it did well on the ladder and got me the win round 1 of the Wi-Fi tour at least.

Scrafty was really hard to build around for me, I ended up just using it with PerishTrap since it at least takes on Hydreigon and Greninja really well. Not sure what made me choose the other three since it was a while ago. I remember winning a room tour with this right after I made it though which was hype af since everyone came to watch and laugh

The Tour's Over, Hera de Señorita:

Mega Salamence & Raikou Bulky Offense:

http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/singles-mega-salamence-raikou-bulky-offense.3577712/

Despite not being part of my Wi-Fi tour run, and not having either Aegislash or Glalie or any of my other favourite mons, this team has a lot of sentimental value to me for some reason. I think it's maybe because I built it after a period of time where I was getting bored and it got me out of my rut. It's pretty fun, now Raikou and Porygon2 are easily up there on my list

This actually kinda worked which was pretty funny. Swords Dance + Flame Charge is a great set so I thought I'd just use that idea but on steroids, however getting the Belly Drum off without dying is harder than a Swords Dance so I used a lot of support.
I'm not going to link back to the blogs because I can't be bothered finding them again, just remember they aren't mine.

I really wanted to use Beedrill so I found this and thought I'd have an easy enough time figuring it out since it was pretty similar to my SpD Salamence team and CCaT. Actually I changed their Salamence to the set I preferred, I don't remember what it was originally but it was a bulky one.

aka the LegoFigure11 BSPL team. He and I tested this team out quite a bit before the tour so when I saw him use it and win it made me smile (even though he was playing for another team). It's meant to have Meadow Viv for maximum aesthetic but I gotta rep my local pattern.

I only found this recently actually, I was looking up Volcarona teams to help bobochan practice for his games against Psynergy and this came up and it looked cool so I saved it. Scarf Zapdos is really cool, it catches so many things off guard and bops them. A lot of Talonflame and Kang get scared away at team preview so setting up Volc is pretty easy, but it's coverage sucks with Sub. I think this is maybe my favourite Jap team and wish I found it sooner.

All hail Lucky Egg Mewtwo! I had to raise it to level 100 for Psystrike but forgot to take the Lucky Egg off. I got hit with a few Knock Offs too which must have been funny for my opponents. I got about 1750 iirc with a record of something like 35W:15L (this was before they had game limits). I had Dark Pulse on Rotom as a filler because it was before Pokebank came out so breeding for Hidden Power was dumb

This was really fun. For those that don't know it was Rotation battles with only Eeveelutions allowed, so my ideas was try and get Sun and Screens up for Leafeon to sweep. Trick Room was for either Flareon or Eevee to come in and do work. I got to play in the final hours of the competition because of irl so finding games was really hard, only got 8W:3L but the 11 games I played were hype af. Curse + Quick Attack Sylveon was the Japanese meta lol

I really enjoyed this comp and did pretty well; 1758 points with 26W:4L which put me 23rd overall in the world, second highest English-speaking rank, 1st in Australia. The meta was so centralised around Mega Mawile so I tried to use some fun stuff that could beat it while surprising my opponents. LO Mawile was so ridiculously fun to use and worked surprisingly well, I only really had it because I wanted to use Synchronoise Mega Gardevoir but it ended up being a champ. Yeah I totally messed up bad and used a Thick Fat Azumarill by mistake....

Just made this team for fun as I didn't have a lot of time to prepare iirc. I just wanted to use the shiny Glalie I'd bred in anticipation of the new games and thought the mega could be good, I also had the XY event Torchic that was just sitting around in my PC, I'd never checked it since I'd picked it up at the start of the game, needless to say I was very surprised at the nature / IVs / Hidden Power type! So I figured I might as well use it. The Latias set was something someone had talked about in the PS room and I tried it out as a joke but it turned out to be beastly. You want to be in against a Metagross or Mega Aggron (which was surprisingly popular) and set up. Goggles Wob was crazy good with all the Breloom running around. I had just restarted my AS game before this to replay the story so when I played the first game of this comp I didn't have the Mega Bracelet so I couldn't evolve Blaze / Glalie and found out the hard way, which lead me to speedrunning the game until the Latias arc and caught the first one I saw which was Calm (without a synchroniser) with good IVs lol.

I'm not good at doubles. Ditto doesn't work at all, Ray should prob be Jolly but Adamant was cool. Hitmontop was ok but Red Card is bad (I ejected my Rayquaza out on an Earthquake and lost because of it whoops). This format was a precursor to VGC16 so it's kinda cool to see I was using X-Ray with Hitmontop back then

This comp was pretty cool, we were only allowed 4 mons instead of 6, and one had to be a Dragon. I really wanted to use the Diancie I SR'd and then used Ray because why not. I mostly didn't mega my Ray but did sometimes if Diancie was dead weight. It was pretty fun. Also Follow Me Blastoise is a beast

I was soooo satisfied with this team, it actually put in so much work on the PS practice ladder and I was super excited to use it for real, but for some reason my signup glitched and I wasn't entered (I most definitely did do it, I blame crappy hotel Wi-Fi). The idea was to get Minun sporting some beastly stat boosts thanks to Magnetic Flux + Minus, Weakness Policy + omnipresent Earthquake, and boosting moves then pass to Rotom and sweep. Often I'd end up with a Rotom with +6 in every stat and my opp would just forfeit lol.

I hated this meta while practicing and wasn't gonna play, Volcarona was everywhere and super OP and it just wasn't enjoyable (maybe that's because I was trying to make Lunatone with Moonblast work eh), then I started using my own Volc with Sash + HP Rock, Tanga Berry Liepard, and Murkrow and all of a sudden it was fun. Not really much to say. I used Wise Glasses on Hydra because my Life Orb was taken by Mawile, and I thought choiced sets were bad because you needed protect because whoever saved their Hydra while a threat to it was taken out would usually win. Just getting an unexpected Protect off changed so many games. Murkrow was a beast.

I got haxed real hard in the actual competition and barely maintained an even win:loss ratio. I was really satisfied with the team so it really bummed me out. I also RMT'd a version of this with Nidoking over Zapdos.

Another "let's use 6 things I have in my PC because I'm no good at prepping for doubles" team. Double Kick on Blaziken was my anti-Sash Smeargle/Weavile measure.

Now that everything else is out of the way and BSPL is done I can finally post my teams. I like cant say's format so I'll just steal his real quick. Would've posted replays for them but this took so long already so I don't feel like scouring through replays of these teams. Except this one.

This is a fairly standard and consistent team, as well as an edit of my first BSS team, if you've asked me for teams in the past you almost certainly have this one. Blaziken/Zapdos/Ferrothorn is a very solid balance core that you can easily bring if you have no idea what else to bring in a matchup. Aegislash and Hydreigon also make for an excellent core while SashChomp is just the best emergency check and backup sweeper to everything. Not anything complicated about this team, just standard stuff on a standard team.

Mega Metagross + Weavile:

Honestly not one of my favorite teams but everyone I've given it too seems to enjoy using it. This is mainly just a conglomerate of stuff that I thought would be cool to use with Thundurus, Garchomp, and Suicune as a solid backbone to patch up weaknesses. Sub + Hone Claws Mega Metagross is very fun if not awkward, but it's always worth it since foes will often try to hit Metagross with status and Steel-type is great for Sub. Zen Headbutt gives you a better time against stuff like Rotom-W and Talonflame but Meteor Mash works if you hate more uncommon stuff like Clefable and Mega Sableye. Weavile has solid offensive synergy with Metagross so those two work fairly well together, and Roserade is just a random cool mon that might be better off as a Breloom.

Mega Sharpedo:

This is an old team I made after discussing Sharpedo with Pearl way back, Mega Sharpedo hits like a truck and it's honestly a really cool Mega. The rest of the team is mainly built to support Mega Sharpedo though Suicune is a really cool Electric lure with Mirror Coat, AV is an option worth considering here but Roar and Rocky Helmet are very useful always. Unsurprisingly Sharpedo really likes Aegislash support as well, though the U-turn support from Landorus-T and Talonflame is incredibly valuable.

This is a team I built for the Teambuilding Competition way back that quickly became one of my favorite teams. Volcarona and Mega Salamence make for an insane core of setup sweepers that cover each other pretty well, while the rest of the team is built around supporting these two and covering the rest of their weaknesses. This team still isn't the biggest fan of Mamoswine though so I opted for Grass Knot to help a bit with that.

My only Kangaskhan Team:

Not much to say here, this is the only team I made with Kangaskhan and I barely ever use it. Works fantastically when I do though since Baton Pass Blaziken into bulky Kangaskhan is broken. The rest of the team is just your standard goodstuff.

This is a really cool team I made featuring the god Choice Band Ferrothorn. It's an awesome lure that actually does damage and it's backed up by an amazing core of Mega Gengar + Belly Drum Azumarill. The Gengar set is probably my favorite Mega Gengar set for how amazing it is at dismantling teams, Icy Wind and Substitute are very good.

Mega Gyarados:

My most recent team, I tested this one with Pearl as well and it turned out to be pretty cool. Substitute Mega Gyarados is amazing and just smashes passive teams by itself, even beats Quagsire or Clefable if you're lucky enough to get a few boosts before it comes in. Amoonguss is pretty cool since Rocky Helmet and Regenerator are insane together, and Thundurus-T is an underrated god.

This team is really cool, uses two of the more uncommon Megas and does it pretty well thanks to an awesome VoltTurn core in Landorus-T and Magnezone. If you can't tell by now I love Sub on unexpected Megas and Lopunny is no different, it's really nice against Blaziken leads because they'll probably Protect against you. Cotton Guard Weakness Policy Whimsicott is a god tier Scizor lure too, which is cool since this team is very weak to Scizor. Memento also lets you set up an Azumarill sweep very easily if necessary.

This is actually an XY team I found but it still works pretty well now, uses the typical Mega Mawile + Porygon2 Trick Room setup, with an alternative Mega Heracross mode featuring another unusual Substitute user. Really cool team despite being somewhat slow across the board, only change I made from the original was having both Bulldoze and Flame Charge Entei since the original had Extreme Speed.

Another really cool Mawile team, this time from ORAS. This team has 3 different paralysis support mons which is makes it super flexible for setting up a situation where Mega Mawile can clean. Glare Serperior is particularly cool since it also has Focus Sash and Mirror Coat for emergencies. Choice Specs Volcarona is also a god and the second best set after Lum Quiver Dance, which notably also loves the overload of paralysis support.

Some has to post one of these. After seeing Pearl use Tacticat in BSPL I figured I had to do the same, it's dumb and cheesy but it's also really good at just winning against teams without Lum Berries, Safety Goggles, or Grass-types (or good luck). Pretty standard stuff really, not much to say. I just wanted to post one of these teams because nobody else will.

This god's team was given to me by nvakna, Flygon looks like a bad meme but actually has scary synergy with Mega Mawile. The Porygon2 set looks awful but it's crazy strong and has insane surprise value, while Jellicent is just super good for stallbreaking and setting up Trick Room. Blaziken is mainly to help smash typical Kangaskhan/Garchomp/Gengar setups with Porygon2 and Jellicent. The team I was given had Flamethrower but I don't miss so Overheat is better.

This was my team for the Little Cup Competition, my biggest regret with this team was not finishing all my battles since I could've easily finished first in the US and possibly come close to Jhon's finish, but it was a great team nonetheless. Colbur Honedge beats Sneasel 100% of the time and I loved it, while Scarf Houndour was a great revenge killer for it.

This was a pretty fun team for Johto Classic, very anti-Clefable which worried a lot of people during the competition. Really cool VoltTurn core, with Piloswine as my anti-Electric since those were a pain, I just banked on people not using Magneton which usually worked. Dragonite was the best mon in the competition except mine was worthless in most matchups so I rarely brought it. Suicune was the real god though.

This was my team for Sinnoh Classic, probably one of my favorites teams this gen. Abomasnow Trick Room was totally the right call for this but the RNG had it out for me during this competition so I ended early on this one. Having the alternative Tailwind mode was also really cool and not using Trick Room was great at throwing people off. The Belly Drum Azumarill mode was also great for instant stomping the weaker teams, while Togekiss redirected away. I ran Babiri Berry as a measure for Scizor but honestly Leftovers is better here.

Changed my mind, editing in some replays to make kamikaze happy:
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-battlespotsingles-160752 - A game from the Showdown tour awhile back, nothing special here aside from showcasing what the team does.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-453510223 - xastify vs Sopheon in BSPL, he chose this team by accident but this team's consistency shows here.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-466508026 - This is from my BSPL set with NOVED, an actually really good game in which I don't bring the autopilot Tacticat trio.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-454684650 - Early BSPL set against Solerme, a little bit of hax but here you can see Specs Volcarona at work.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-454688164 - From the same set, this is my Volcarona + Mega Salamence team putting in work. This team's probably my best performing team in tours honestly.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-369981674 - Another game from the Showdown tour against qsns, really cool game and I get to show off Mirror Coat working here.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-452923191 - kamikaze vs Jmal98 in BSPL, here you can see that Mega Salamence and Aegislash are just really good.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-475257147 - Yet another BSPL game in which kamikaze wins with this team, also showing how godly Mirror Coat Suicune.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-369979411 - Another game from my set against qsns in the Showdown tour, unfortunately Ferrothorn gets sniped by HP Fire Sylveon but Mega Gengar + Azumarill just wins anyway.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/battlespotsingles-373876598 - One of the games from the finals of the Showdown tour I won, Icy Wind Mega Gengar takes the spotlight again though some luck makes the game closer than it could've been.
