name: Offensive Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Outrage
move 3: Fire Punch
move 4: Dual Wingbeat
item: Dragonium Z / Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Multiscale
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 Def / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Dragon Dance turns Dragonite into a threatening sweeper, as Multiscale lets it take a hit from full HP and set up with ease. Multiscale is Dragonite's selling point over its competition in Salamence, which has greater Speed and power. After a Dragon Dance, Dragonite outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame. Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake and removes Outrage's drawback of locking Dragonite into it. Boosted Devastating Drake can take down bulky foes including specially defensive Hippowdon, Galarian Slowbro, and Deoxys-D. Fire Punch provides excellent coverage alongside Dragonite's Dragon-type STAB moves, hitting bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory and Celesteela. Dual Wingbeat rounds out Dragonite's coverage and lets Dragonite deal heavy damage to Mega Altaria, Primarina, and Azumarill, which otherwise resist its other moves. A Jolly nature lets Dragonite outpace Zeraora and Mega Manectric after a single Dragon Dance. Heavy-Duty Boots is an option that can be considered if your team already has another Z-Move user, as it allows Dragonite to retain Multiscale even with Stealth Rock on the field. However, the loss in wallbreaking power is substantial.

This set fits best on offense and hyper offense teams where it can either wallbreak with its Z-Move or clean up late-game. If Dragonite is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, Defog users such as Rotom-W and Moltres are strongly recommended so Dragonite can preserve Multiscale. Entry hazard support from teammates such as Swampert is greatly appreciated to help wear down bulky Steel-types such as Celesteela. Suicide leads such as Azelf and Deoxys-D can use Taunt to deny opposing entry hazards while setting up Stealth Rock themselves. Common partners that can overwhelm some of Dragonite's Steel-type checks include Belly Drum Azumarill, Swords Dance Bisharp, and Swords Dance Scizor. Urshifu-R is another good partner for Dragonite, as it can break down bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix that would otherwise wall Dragonite. Urshifu-R can also switch into attacks that attempt to revenge kill Dragonite, such as Mamoswine's Ice Shard. In return, Dragonite can threaten bulky Grass-types such as Amoonguss. Since Fairy-types give Dragonite trouble, teammates that can switch in and set up on them such as Aegislash and Nihilego are also appreciated. A late-game cleaner such as Mega Sharpedo and the aforementioned Nihilego can help finish off an enemy team weakened by Dragonite.

name: Defensive
move 1: Hurricane
move 2: Roost
move 3: Flamethrower
move 4: Heal Bell / Defog / Toxic
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Multiscale
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Defensive Dragonite serves as a solid check against many powerful attackers such as Scizor, Zarude, and Urshifu-R lacking Ice Punch. Hurricane hits many important Pokemon super effectively, such as Amoonguss and Urshifu-R. Roost allows Dragonite to stall out weaker attacks such as Darkest Lariat from Zarude and keeps Dragonite healthy. Flamethrower lets Dragonite check Steel-types such as Scizor, Aegislash, and Bisharp. Heal Bell is an option to provide cleric support and shrug off Toxic from Pokemon that may attempt to cripple Dragonite, such as Hippowdon and Amoonguss, but Defog is also a solid option that lets Dragonite support Stealth Rock-weak teammates. Toxic may also be considered to cripple bulky Pokemon such as Mega Altaria and Rotom-W. 16 Speed EVs let Dragonite outspeed Azumarill.

This set fits on bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate Dragonite's support capabilities and defensive utility. A special wall such as Slowking or Celesteela can absorb strong Ice- or Fairy-type attacks aimed at Dragonite and further solidify the team's defensive backbone. In return, these walls appreciate Dragonite's ability to check threats such as Zeraora, Zarude, and Moltres. Since defensive Dragonite is passive and can be overwhelmed by coverage moves or a powerful attack, a secondary wall such as Assault Vest Tangrowth may be considered to reduce pressure on Dragonite and better check wallbreakers such as Urshifu-R. If Dragonite is running Heal Bell, a bulky sweeper that appreciates being free of status, such as Cosmic Power Deoxys-D, may also be a good teammate. Slow but powerful wallbreakers such as Bisharp and Scizor also enjoy Dragonite curing potential burns and providing insurance against revenge killers. Another Defog user, such as Moltres, can be helpful in getting rid of entry hazards in case Dragonite's Heavy-Duty Boots are removed by Knock Off and giving Dragonite the freedom to run other moves like Heal Bell. Since Dragonite heavily relies on Heavy-Duty Boots to preserve Multiscale, teammates that can absorb Knock Off like Mega Steelix and Cobalion are greatly appreciated. Bulky Swords Dance + Roost Scizor is an excellent teammate for Dragonite since it can absorb Knock Off and Ice-type attacks and appreciates Dragonite being able to sponge Fire-type coverage from the likes of Roserade. Dragonite can further support Scizor by curing status with Heal Bell or facilitating a Swords Dance by removing hazards.

Dragonite can run a mono-attacking set with Heavy-Duty Boots, Dragon Dance, Roost, Heal Bell, and Dual Wingbeat. This lets Dragonite set up against defensive Pokemon that rely on status to cripple it, allowing it to act as a late-game cleaner. However, bulky Steel-types will completely wall this set. Flyinium Z with Fly over Dual Wingbeat is an alternative to Dragonium Z that lets Dragonite blast through important targets resistant or immune to Dragon, such as Mega Altaria. Weakness Policy or Lum Berry can be considered on the Dragon Dance set, but they are less reliable than the usual item choices. Dragonite may also consider a Choice Band set with Outrage, Dual Wingbeat, Fire Punch, and Extreme Speed. However, this set suffers from high opportunity cost over other Choice Band users and has a significant lack of defensive utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Mega Altaria and Primarina are bulky enough to survive a +1 Dual Wingbeat and can often revenge kill Dragonite, especially if it has locked itself into Outrage. However, they usually cannot take a boosted Supersonic Skystrike if Dragonite is running Flyinium Z.

**Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory, Mega Aggron, and Mega Steelix can take any attack from Dragonite, including a boosted Fire Punch or Earthquake, and proceed to retaliate with super effective attacks, phaze it out, or use it as setup fodder.

**Physical Walls**: Physically defensive Hippowdon and Rhyperior can survive a +1 Devastating Drake if healthy and can phaze Dragonite out or KO it, respectively. Hippowdon can also cripple Dragonite with Toxic while Swords Dance variants of Rhyperior can use Dragonite as setup fodder.

**Ice-types and Ice-type Coverage**: Dragonite's 4x Ice weakness can be exploited by Mamoswine's Ice Shard as well as Arctozolt in hail, which outspeeds Dragonite even at +1. Additionally, Pokemon that Dragonite would normally setup on or check, such as Keldeo, can also carry Ice-type coverage to prevent Dragonite from setting up safely, especially if its Multiscale is broken.

**Priority**: Priority from Lycanroc-D or Scizor can easily pick off a weakened Dragonite. With Life Orb, Lycanroc-D even has a chance to OHKO offensive Dragonite after Stealth Rock damage.

**Chip Damage**: Given how valuable Multiscale is, sources of chip damage such as U-turn from the likes of Urshifu-R and Zarude and Toxic from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Aegislash hamper Dragonite's ability to either set up or support its team. Knock Off is also a major concern for defensive Dragonite, as Heavy-Duty Boots are essential for preserving Multiscale.

**Choice Scarf Users**: Faster Choice Scarf Pokemon, such as Keldeo and Mienshao, can revenge kill a weakened Dragonite even after it has set up.

Sorry for the delay, QC me. I have limited knowledge of the bulky set as I don't play more defensive styles very often, so feel free to make corrections there!

This is Dragonite's flagship set. I honestly think this statement is debatable as Mence for the most part is a better purely offensive Dragon/Flying DD user given its extra power (from being able to hold LO without making its ability useless) and extra speed, I would reword the intro to say like "Dragon Dance turns Dragonite into a threatening sweeper," with a mention of multiscale allowing it to take nearly any hit from full, or anything along those lines. After a Dragon Dance, Dragonite outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame, as well as any scarfers below base 80 Speed. Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake with 190 Base Power, without Outrage's drawback of locking Dragonite into a move. Almost anything that does not resist Dragon will be flattened by a boosted Devastating Drake, with even Buzzwole crumpling after slight prior damage. DWB already beats Buzzwole, instead mention something neutral to it otherwise like Hippo or Rotom. Fire Punch provides excellent neutral coverage alongside Dragonite's Dragon STAB to hit bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory and Celesteela. Dual Wingbeat rounds out Dragonite's coverage and enables Dragonite to deal heavy damage to Mega Altaria, Primarina, and Azumarill, which otherwise resist the combination of Dragon and Fire. Flyinium Z is an alternative to Dragonium Z that enables Dragonite to blast through important targets resistant or immune to Dragon, such as Mega Altaria. This should be OO, in addition, the main move you're using with it is Fly instead of DWB. Maximum speed investment alongside a Jolly nature ensures Dragonite at worst speed ties with other base 80 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Altaria. A Jolly nature also enables Dragonite to outpace Zeraora and Mega Manectric after a Dragon Dance, which it cannot do with an Adamant nature. In addition, Heavy-Duty Boots is an option that should be strongly considered, especially if your team already has another Z-Move user, as it enables Dragonite to retain Multiscale even with Stealth Rock on the field. However, the loss in wallbreaking power by forgoing a Z-Move is substantial.

Adding onto the above, make sure to mention that this specific set faces significant competition from Mence for the reasons listed, its been a while since we touched on this, but it's also highly likely that DD Heal Bell will get its own analysis in the future and become the main set.

This set fits best on offense and hyper offense teams where it can either wallbreak with its Z-Move or clean up late game. If Dragonite is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, Rapid Spin support from Starmie or Tentacruel Rapid Spin doesn't really synergize well on more offensive teams, you've already mentioned the leads which can also Taunt the rockers, so link that with the anti-hazards point. or Defog users such as Rotom-W and Moltres are strongly recommended to enable Dragonite to preserve Multiscale. Entry hazard support from teammates such as Deoxys D and Azelf is greatly appreciated to help wear down bulky Steel-types such as Celesteela. Start briefly listing additional offensive teammates here, namely those that can weaken Steels which can be its own subsection, before elaborating more on the notable options, like Scizor. Urshifu-R is a good partner for Dragonite, as it can help break down bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix that would otherwise wall Dragonite. Urshifu-R can also switch into attacks that attempt to revenge kill Dragonite, such as Mamoswine's Ice Shard. In return, Dragonite can help break down bulky Grass-types such as Amoonguss. Scizor is another partner that can be considered, since it can deal with some of the Fairy-types that give Dragonite trouble.

[SET COMMENTS]
This Dragonite set serves as a physical wall against many powerful attackers such as Scizor, Zarude, and Urshifu-R lacking Ice Punch. Hurricane hits many important Pokemon super-effectively, such as Amoonguss and Urshifu-R. Roost allows Dragonite to stall out weaker attacks such as Darkest Lariat from Zarude, and ensures Dragonite's longevity throughout a match. Flamethrower enables Dragonite to check Steel-type attackers such as Scizor, Aegislash, and Bisharp. Heal Bell is an option to provide the team with a cleric, Mention how it allows it to shrug off annoying poisons from things that may try to wear it down, like Amoonguss and Hippowdon. but Defog is also a solid option to enable Dragonite to support Stealth Rock-weak teammates. Toxic may also be considered to cripple bulky Pokemon such as Buzzwole Mega Altaria and Rotom-W. 16 Speed EVs ensures Dragonite outspeeds Azumarill. The remaining EVs are poured into HP and Defense alongside a Bold nature to maximize Dragonite's bulk.

This set fits on balanced and bulkier styles, as they appreciate Dragonite's defensive utility against powerful wallbreakers, as well as its ability to act as a cleric with Heal Bell. A special wall such as Slowking or Celesteela can absorb strong Ice or Fairy-type attacks aimed at Dragonite and further solidify the team's defensive backbone. Mention the things that can Dragonite can check for them in return. If Dragonite is running Heal Bell, a bulky sweeper that appreciates being free of status, such as Scizor, may also be a good teammate. Moltres may appreciate Defog support in the event that it loses its Heavy-Duty Boots to Knock Off, and also enjoys Dragonite's ability to check Urshifu-R. In return Moltres can check Mega Altaria. Aegislash is another good partner, as it checks many of the Pokemon that threaten Dragonite, such as Nihilego.

Add mentions of Knock and Status Absorbers, Multiscale is crucial for allowing DNite to check most things long-term. Any slow wallbreaker like Urshifu that appreciates the defensive security DNite has against most revenge killers is ideal as well.

Weakness Policy or Lum Berry can be considered on the Dragon Dance set, but they are less reliable than the usual item choices. Dragonite can run a mono-attacking set with Leftovers, Dragon Dance, Roost, Heal Bell, and either Fly or Dual Wingbeat. If you're running Defensive DD DNite, it's always going to be Heal Bell with HDB and DWB, move it to the top also. Dragonite may also consider a Choice Band set with Outrage, Dual Wingbeat, Earthquake, and Extremespeed. Mention the lack of defensive utility that comes with using CB over other sets, in addition to the opportunity cost of using it over other mons that could fill this role.

Checks and Counters
===================

Physical Walls: Physical walls such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix Give more varied examples here such as PDef Hippo and Rhyperior. can take any attack from Dragonite, including a boosted Fire Punch or Earthquake, and proceed to either retaliate with super-effective attacks or set up Stealth Rock.

Add a section for Steel-types in general, and move the above examples to it.

Fairy-types: Fairy-types such as Mega Altaria and Primarina can often revenge kill Dragonite, especially if it has locked itself into Outrage. Mention how they can often survive +1 DNite in general because of how weak DWB is. However, they usually cannot take a boosted Supersonic Skystrike if Dragonite is running Flyinium Z. I honestly think Fairy-types in general are the best overall counters since they can actually pressure it reliably, make this the first and most important option above physical walls.

Mention Ice-types and Ice-type coverage from mons that Dnite would normally check or try to setup on, Arctozolt in Hail also outspeeds +1 and should fall under this category as an offensive check.

Priority: Priority from the likes of Mamoswine move this, Lycanroc-D, or Scizor can easily pick off a weakened Dragonite.

You've indirectly mentioned this above, but any form of chip damage sucks for either Dnite variant because of how useful Multiscale is. List examples such as pivot moves/Knock Off from Pokemon it would like to check and Status for non-heal bell sets.

Choice Scarf Pokemon: Faster Choice Scarf Pokemon with greater than 80 base speed, such as Keldeo and Mienshao Zarude, Scarf Zarude is generally rare outside of specific Voltturn teams and doesn't do the job as well due to lacking SE coverage. can revenge kill a weakened Dragonite even after it has set up.

Dragon Dance turns Dragonite into a threatening sweeper, with Multiscale facilitating set-up as it allows Dragonite to almost always survive a hit from full health. Multiscale is Dragonite's selling point over Salamence, which competes heavily with it as an offensive Dragon Dance user by virture of the latter's greater Speed and power. After a Dragon Dance, Dragonite outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame, as well as any scarfers below base 80 Speed. Don't find this to be worth mentioning while the only half-way decent option in a Zeraora meta which fits the critera is Scarf Diggers, remove it for now. Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake with 190 Base Power, without removing Outrage's drawback of locking Dragonite into a move. Almost anything that does not resist Dragon will be flattened by a boosted Devastating Drake, with even Hippowdon crumpling after slight prior damage. Leads such as Azelf and Deoxys-D can also use Taunt to prevent the opposing team from setting up Stealth Rock. Common partners to Dragonite on fast paced offense teams that can help overwhelm some of Dragonite's checks Reworded this since it's the main point you're trying to convey. include Belly Drum Azumarill, Swords Dance Bisharp, and Dragon Dance Mega Altaria These two don't synergize well and you'd much prefer the cleaning power of MShark on Dnite teams, give another example. Urshifu-R is another good partner for Dragonite, as it can help break down bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix that would otherwise wall Dragonite.

Would definitely like to see the teammates section worked on as a whole phrasing wise, From the point about leads and onward, I'd personally go with an order of: Mons that can help weaken Steels with a mention of DNite being able to do the same for them if they want to try and sweep with the other instead, teammates that can switch into and put the pressure on Fairies/Scarfers to preserve Multiscale such as Nihilego/Aegislash/Heattom, and late-game cleaners in general, try to properly categorise each Pokemon here based on its defined role on HO, and try to avoid blind mentioning unless the teammate really stands out as a compliment in multiple different departments.

This Dragonite set Defensive Dragonite serves as a physical wall against many powerful attackers such as Scizor, Zarude, and Urshifu-R lacking Ice Punch. Heal Bell is an option to provide the team with a cleric and shrug off Toxic from Pokemon that may attempt to cripple Dragonite, such as Hippowdon and Amoonguss, but Defog is also a solid option to enable Dragonite to support Stealth Rock-weak teammates. Toxic may also be considered to cripple bulky Pokemon such as Mega Altaria and Rotom-W.

In return, these walls appreciate Dragonite's ability to check threats such as Zeraora, Zarude, and Moltres. If Dragonite is running Heal Bell, a bulky sweeper that appreciates being free of status, such as Scizor, may also be a good teammate. I personally think standard SD Roost Scizor is absolutely fantastic on most DNite teams if you're not running MAggron, it pivots into Ice-types and most things that would force Dnite out reasonably well, can absorb Knock Offs on occasion, and appreciates the sponge against Fire moves from Grasses like Rose in return, replace the mention with other examples such as CS DeoD and give it an entire paragraph instead. Slow but powerful wallbreakers such as Urshifu-R and Mamoswine also enjoy Dragonite curing potential burns, as well as the defensive backbone Dragonite provides against revenge killers. Moltres may appreciate Defog support in the event that it loses its Heavy-Duty Boots to Knock Off, and also enjoys Dragonite's ability to check Urshifu-R. In return Moltres can absorb Will-O-Wisp and check Mega Altaria. Two cents, but I personally think it would be better that this part regarding Moltres talks about having different Defoggers instead, as this gives it the freedom to run different moves that otherwise suffer from high oppurtunity cost. Aegislash is another good partner, as it can switch into Toxic and check many of the Pokemon that threaten Dragonite, such as Nihilego. I don't think Aegislash stands out enough to warrant having its own paragraph, especially as most of the Toxic users aimed at DNite are Grounds. Since Dragonite heavily relies on Heavy-Duty Boots to preserve Multiscale, a teammate that can absorb Knock Off, such as Mega Altaria same issue with overlapping synergy, but since this is somewhat specific in this case, a better example to use here would probably be Cobalion or MLix, depending on the Knocker, is greatly appreciated.

Add mentions of Pokemon that can divvy out the work against the individual Pokemon Dragonite is meant to check, since they can potentially overwhelm it through sheer power and momentum, a good example of this is AV Tangrowth.

Dragonite can run a mono-attacking set with Heavy-Duty Boots, Dragon Dance, Roost, Heal Bell, and Dual Wingbeat Elaborate a bit more on what this set has over its other options. Flyinium Z with Fly over Dual Wingbeat is an alternative to Dragonium Z that enables Dragonite to blast through important targets resistant or immune to Dragon, such as Mega Altaria. Weakness Policy or Lum Berry can be considered on the Dragon Dance set, but they are less reliable than the usual item choices. Dragonite may also consider a Choice Band set with Outrage, Dual Wingbeat, Earthquake Fire Punch Personally don't think EQ hits anything notable that Outrage/Fire Punch doesn't smack already, the coverage for Steel/Flyings is important as well., and Extreme Speed. However, this set suffers from high opportunity cost over other Dragonite sets I'd say moreso in general, given that there are way better CB users like Terrak which have better Speed tiers and STABs to abuse. and has a significant lack of defensive utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-Types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory, Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix can take any attack from Dragonite, including a boosted Fire Punch or Earthquake, and proceed to either retaliate with super-effective attacks or set up Stealth Rock use it as setup fodder I'd say in general given that aside from hazards, these three can also potentially stack IDs/Curses in front of it.

**Physical Walls**: Physically defensive Hippowdon and Rhyperior can survive a +1 Devastating Drake if healthy and can either phase it out in the case of the former or outright KO it in the case of the latter. Add that Hippo can also Toxic it and SD Rhyperior can also turn defensive DNite into setup fodder, since it comes in for free.

**Ice-Types and Ice-Type coverage**: Dragonite's 4x Ice weakness can be exploited by Mamoswine's Ice Shard as well as Arctozolt in hail, which outspeeds Dragonite even at +1. Additonally, Pokemon that Dragonite would normally setup on or check carrying Ice-Type coverage, such as Icy Wind Keldeo, can also carry Ice-type coverage to prevent Dragonite from setting up safely, especially if its Multiscale is broken.

**Priority**: Priority from the likes of Lycanroc-D's Accelerock or Scizor's Bullet Punch can easily pick off a weakened Dragonite LO Accelerock can even potentially flat-out KO Offensive sets after rocks, so I think that's worth pointing out.

**Chip Damage**: Given how valuable Multiscale is, sources of chip damage such as U-Turn from Urshifu-R and Zarude, as well as Toxic from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Aegislash, hamper Dragonite's ability to either set up or support its team. Add a mention of Knock Off because of how valuable Boots are on defensive sets if you haven't already, Rocks become a problem otherwise.

**Choice Scarf Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf Pokemon, such as Keldeo and Mienshao, can revenge kill a weakened Dragonite even after it has set up.

Sorry for the delay. Much better with the overall content right now, although I would generally like to see some points rephrased and expanded on before I let this pass.

Maximum speed investment alongside a Jolly nature enables Dragonite to outpace Zeraora and Mega Manectric after a single Dragon Dance, which it cannot do with an Adamant nature.
Fluff personally since you've already mentioned it in a way that implies a Jolly nature is what's needed to outrun these pokemon. Given that this is a fully offensive set, I don't think the bit about speed investment needs to be here either unless you're EV'ing it to outrun something specific.

Entry hazard support from teammates such as Deoxys D and Azelf are greatly appreciated to help wear down bulky Steel-types such as Celesteela. Leads such as , while Azelf and Deoxys-D can also use Taunt to prevent the opposing team from setting up Stealth Rock. I'd say Defog as well, but rocks should be kept here so that non-boots DNite keeps Multiscale.
You're not wrong to say this, but I dislike how it's structured with the examples it uses currently. I would merge this into one full sentence, and prioritize non-lead examples like Swampert first, since leads are typically meant to be a subsection of hazard setters.

In return, these walls appreciate Dragonite's ability to check threats such as Zeraora, Zarude, and Moltres. Given AV Tangrowth's additional role as a special tank in this case, I would specifically mention it after the bit about special walls (here) saying "Additionally, AV Tangrowth's nature as a mixed wall can also help alleviate pressure from Dragonite to check Pokemon such as Urshifu-RS" or anything like that. If Dragonite is running Heal Bell, a bulky sweeper that appreciates being free of status, such as Cosmic Power Deoxys-D, may also be a good teammate. Slow but powerful wallbreakers such as Urshifu-R and Mamoswine also enjoy Dragonite curing potential burns, as well as the defensive backbone Dragonite provides against revenge killers. Another Defog user, such as Moltres, can be helpful to alleviate hazard pressure in case Dragonite's Heavy-Duty Boots are removed by Knock Off, as well as give Dragonite the freedom to run other moves such as Heal Bell. Since Dragonite heavily relies on Heavy-Duty Boots to preserve Multiscale, teammates that can absorb Knock Off, such as Mega Steelix or Coballion, are greatly appreciated. Bulky Swords Dance + Roost Scizor is an excellent teammate for Dragonite, since not only can it absorb Knock Offs and Ice-type attacks aimed at Dragonite, it also appreciates Dragonite's ability to sponge Fire-type coverage from the likes of Roserade. Dragonite can further support Scizor by curing status with Heal Bell or facilitating a Swords Dance by removing hazards.
If you haven't gone through it already, talk about the set's problems with being a slow momentum drain as mentioned above, this is often the reason why you shouldn't rely on Dnite as a solo resist to the offensive stuff it's meant to check, On top of weaknesses to Knock and coverage.

Dragonite can run a mono-attacking set with Heavy-Duty Boots, Dragon Dance, Roost, Heal Bell, and Dual Wingbeat. This enables Dragonite to serve as a late-game win condition by accruing multiple boosts and sweeping.
Mention how Heal Bell allows it to directly setup on defensive Pokemon which normally rely on status to beat it, like Toxic Skarm/Heattom.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Good job keeping up with this for each update, I was being very nitpicky as usual.

You're not wrong to say this, but I dislike how it's structured with the examples it uses currently. I would merge this into one full sentence, and prioritize non-lead examples like Swampert first, since leads are typically meant to be a subsection of hazard setters.

If you haven't gone through it already, talk about the set's problems with being a slow momentum drain as mentioned above, this is often the reason why you shouldn't rely on Dnite as a solo resist to the offensive stuff it's meant to check, On top of weaknesses to Knock and coverage.

Mention how Heal Bell allows it to directly setup on defensive Pokemon which normally rely on status to beat it, like Toxic Skarm/Heattom.

Good job keeping up with this for each update, I was being very nitpicky as usual.

[SET COMMENTS]
Dragon Dance turns Dragonite into a threatening sweeper, with Multiscale facilitating set-up as it allows Dragonite to almost always survive a hit from full health. Multiscale is Dragonite's selling point over Salamence, which competes heavily with it an offensive Dragon Dance user by virture of the latter's greater Speed and power. After a Dragon Dance, Dragonite outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame. Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake (dex info) with 190 Base Power, removing and removes Outrage's drawback of locking Dragonite into a move. Almost anything that does not resist Dragon will be flattened by a boosted Devastating Drake, with even Hippowdon crumpling after slight prior damage. Reword this sentence to something more directly like "Boosted Devastating Drake can take down bulky foes including x,y,z." Fire Punch provides excellent neutral coverage alongside Dragonite's Dragon STAB to hit bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory and Celesteela. Dual Wingbeat rounds out Dragonite's coverage and enables Dragonite to deal heavy damage to Mega Altaria, Primarina, and Azumarill, which otherwise resist its previous moves the combination of Dragon and Fire. A Jolly nature enables Dragonite to outpace Zeraora and Mega Manectric after a single Dragon Dance.

This set fits best on offense and hyper offense teams where it can either wallbreak with its Z-Move or clean up late game. If Dragonite is not running Heavy-Duty Boots, Defog users such as Rotom-W and Moltres are strongly recommended to enable Dragonite to preserve Multiscale. Entry hazard support from teammates such as Swampert are greatly appreciated to help wear down bulky Steel-types such as Celesteela, while leads such as Azelf and Deoxys-D can use Taunt to deny opposing hazards while setting up Stealth Rock themselves. Common partners that can help overwhelm some of Dragonite's Steel-type checks include Belly Drum Azumarill, Swords Dance Bisharp, and Swords Dance Scizor. Urshifu-R is another good partner for Dragonite, as it can help break down bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix that would otherwise wall Dragonite. Urshifu-R can also switch into attacks that attempt to revenge kill Dragonite, such as Mamoswine's Ice Shard. In return, Dragonite can help break down bulky Grass-types such as Amoonguss. Since Fairy-types give Dragonite trouble, teammates that can switch into them and proceed to set up such as Aegislash or Nihilego are also appreciated. A late game cleaner such as Mega Sharpedo and the aforementioned Nihilego can help finish off an enemy team weakened by Dragonite.

[SET COMMENTS]
Defensive Dragonite serves as a physical wall solid check against many powerful attackers such as Scizor, Zarude, and Urshifu-R lacking Ice Punch. Hurricane hits many important Pokemon super-effectively, such as Amoonguss and Urshifu-R. Roost allows Dragonite to stall out weaker attacks such as Darkest Lariat from Zarude, and ensures Dragonite's longevity throughout a match. Flamethrower enables Dragonite to check Steel-types attackers such as Scizor, Aegislash, and Bisharp. Heal Bell is an option to provide the team with a cleric support and shrug off Toxic from Pokemon that may attempt to cripple Dragonite, such as Hippowdon and Amoonguss, but Defog is also a solid option to enable Dragonite to support Stealth Rock-weak teammates. Toxic may also be considered to cripple bulky Pokemon such as Mega Altaria and Rotom-W. 16 Speed EVs ensures Dragonite outspeeds Azumarill. The remaining EVs are poured into HP and Defense alongside a Bold nature to maximize Dragonite's bulk. fluff since we can only check physical attackers with this set.

This set fits on balanced and bulkier styles, as they appreciate Dragonite's defensive utility against powerful wallbreakers and support capabilities., as well as its ability to act as a cleric with Heal Bell. A special wall such as Slowking or Celesteela can absorb strong Ice or Fairy-type attacks aimed at Dragonite and further solidify the team's defensive backbone. In return, these walls appreciate Dragonite's ability to check threats such as Zeraora, Zarude, and Moltres. Since defensive Dragonite is passive and can be overwhelmed by coverage moves or a concerted attack from the opposing team, a secondary wall such as Assault Vest Tangrowth may be considered to alleviate pressure on Dragonite against strong wallbreakers such as Urshifu-R. If Dragonite is running Heal Bell, a bulky sweeper that appreciates being free of status, such as Cosmic Power Deoxys-D, may also be a good teammate. Slow but powerful wallbreakers such as Urshifu-R Bisharp (since you said "slow wallbreakers") and Mamoswine Scizor also enjoy Dragonite curing potential burns, as well as the defensive backbone Dragonite provides against revenge killers.

Dragonite can run a mono-attacking set with Heavy-Duty Boots, Dragon Dance, Roost, Heal Bell, and Dual Wingbeat. This enables Dragonite to set up against defensive Pokemon that rely on status to cripple it, enabling Dragonite to serve as a late-game win condition by accruing multiple boosts and sweeping. probably make a brief mention that steel-types completely kills this set. Dragonite may also consider a Choice Band set with Outrage, Dual Wingbeat, Fire Punch, and Extreme Speed. However, this set suffers from high opportunity cost over other Choice Band users and has a significant lack of defensive utility.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Skarmory, Mega Aggron and Mega Steelix can take any attack from Dragonite, including a boosted Fire Punch or Earthquake, and proceed to either retaliate with super-effective attacks, phaze it out or use it as setup fodder.

**Physical Walls**: Physically defensive Hippowdon and Rhyperior can survive a +1 Devastating Drake if healthy and can either phase it out in the case of the former or outright KO it in the case of the latter.

Additonally, Pokemon that Dragonite would normally setup on or check, such as Icy Wind Keldeo, can also carry Ice-type coverage to prevent Dragonite from setting up safely, especially if its Multiscale is broken.

**Priority**: Priority from the likes of Lycanroc-D's Accelerock or Scizor's Bullet Punch can easily pick off a weakened Dragonite. With Life Orb, Lycanroc-D even has a chance to OHKO offensive Dragonite after Stealth Rock damage.

**Chip Damage**: Given how valuable Multiscale is, sources of chip damage such as U-turn from Urshifu-R and Zarude, as well as Toxic from Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Aegislash, hamper Dragonite's ability to either set up or support its team. Knock Off is also a major concern for defensive Dragonite, as Heavy-Duty Boots are essential for preserving Multiscale, which is integral to Dragonite's performance. defensive utility.

**Choice Scarf Users Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf Pokemon, such as Keldeo and Mienshao, can revenge kill a weakened Dragonite even after it has set up.
