VGC Dragapult

Dragapult @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Phantom Force
- Tera Blast
- U-turn

Thanks to its great Speed tier, immunity to Intimidate, and the metagame's few Ghost-resistant foes, Dragapult remains one of the biggest threats in Regulation D. Its best partners are Chien-Pao and either Farigiraf or Indeedee-F. While Chien-Pao's Sword Of Ruin gives Dragapult the extra damage boost, Farigiraf and Indeedee-F support it perfectly, blocking priority moves, most notably Sucker Punch, and setting Trick Room against Tailwind teams. Dragapult can make use of its defensive typing to come in on foes such as Iron Hands and Urshifu-R that struggle to KO it. Common counters to Dragapult are Speed Booster Energy Flutter Mane and Iron Bundle which outspeed it, Chien-Pao, and Choice Scarf users such as Landorus-T and Chi-Yu. Grimmsnarl is also annoying for Dragapult, as Dragapult struggles to hit it and Grimmsnarl pressures it back while setting dual screens. Dragapult is extremely good against slower balance teams, as those often lack switch-ins to Dragapult especially when Dragapult is boosted by Sword Of Ruin and Tera Ghost. However, Dragapult struggles when it can't Tera, as it is forced to use the inconsistent Phantom Force as Ghost-type STAB move and if it locks into Dragon Darts, it gets walled by the omnipresent Flutter Mane.

Thanks to its speed tier, immunity to Intimidate and the metagame's few Ghost resists Dragapult remains one of the biggest threats in Regulation D. Its best partners are Chien-Pao who gives it the extra damage boost to really overwhelm the opponent and either Farigiraf or Indeedee-F who protect it from priority moves, most notably Sucker Punch from Chien-Pao and Urshifu-S, and can set Trick Room if the opponent tries to set Tailwind to outspeed Dragapult. (probs worth rephrasing, sounds very long and convoluted) Dragapult resisting both stabs of Urshifu-R and Iron Hands is valuable giving it a good matchup against both. Dragapult can make use of its defensive typing to come in on foes such as Iron Hands and Urshifu-R, which struggle to kill it. (add another line here about U-turning out of bad m/us / leads), (another short line about Dragon Darts is ok here) Main things that Dragapult doesn't want to face are Speed Booster Energy Flutter Mane and Iron Bundle who outspeed it and threaten it, Chien-Pao and scarfers that are faster than it such as Landorus-T and Chi-Yu. (Worth mentioning Fullroom teams here as well imo, idk if Scarf lando is that threatening against pult though, Grimm is also worth mentioning) Dragapult is extremely good against slower and more passive balance teams, as those often lack Ghost resists making Dragapult able to OHKO almost everything with a Sword Of Ruin boost and tera. (weird phrasing) However, Dragapult can still struggles a bit when it can't afford to tera against Dragon resists, as it is forced to use the much weaker and inconsistent Phantom Force instead. not only will it hit significantly weaker, but it has to use Phantom Force as Ghost STAB which is worse because it is a 2-turn move, making it easier to play around.
content wise is ok, breadth of vocab can be improved, feels like listing

Edited, feel like FullRoom can be left out as its usually fine if your Chien-Pao is Ice Spinner of your Farigiraf/Indeedee-F is Imprison and FullRoom is also way less common than something like CressLuna which Pult does fine against but lmk if i should include it anyway
