Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams to further enhance their offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy, Ghost, and Normal. Its Poison typing also allows Dragalge to take Fairy-type attacks from foes like Tapu Fini and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and remove opposing Toxic Spikes. With its typing and immense Special Defense, Dragalge can blanket check special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Nihilego, and Galarian Moltres, although Choice Specs Aegislash, for example, can 2HKO it. Adaptability-boosted Gunk Shot deals solid overall damage, nails the aforementioned Fairy-types, and threatens Calm Mind users such as Clefable and Hatterene because it's physical. Dragalge's low Speed lets it put Flip Turn to excellent use, bringing in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely against Pokemon it underspeeds, such as Toxapex, that like to spread status. Protect scouts Choice-locked Pokemon, such as Tapu Lele, Jirachi, and Gengar, while providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery and Toxic Spikes damage. 24 Speed IVs along with a Sassy nature allow Dragalge to underspeed Toxapex, thus sponging its status-inflicting moves such as Scald and Toxic before pivoting with Flip Turn, while outspeeding Hatterene outside of Trick Room to 2HKO it.

Substitute users such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes greatly, as it continually helps them break through types like Normal, Fairy, and Ground more consistently. Furthermore, Dragalge can act as a slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. In return, Kyurem can crush Water-types that don't fear Dragalge such as Gastrodon and Toxapex with Freeze-Dry, while Hydreigon provides a Psychic immunity, and it takes advantage of Steel- and Poison-types such as Ferrothorn and Toxapex that switch into Dragalge. Choice Scarf Dragapult is an excellent revenge killer that threatens foes like Kingdra in rain, Choice Scarf Weavile, and Dragon Dance Dragapult with its almost unresisted STAB combination. Toxic Spikes from Dragalge enables Dragapult's Hex and puts defensive checks of Dragon Dance Dragapult, such as Kasib Berry Slowbro and Hippowdon, on a timer. Furthermore, its Ghost typing lets Dragapult spinblock against foes like Excadrill and Torkoal to keep Toxic Spikes up. Garchomp also benefits from Dragalge's slow pivoting abilities, taking advantage of Pokemon such as Toxapex and Klefki, which come in on Dragalge. Garchomp can also utilize a Choice Scarf set to threaten Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, Cinderace, and Zeraora. Latias provides a Ground immunity and runs Healing Wish, which lets Dragalge have a second chance in checking Tapu Lele or Tapu Fini. Duraludon is another good partner for Dragalge, as the duo forms a good defensive backbone thanks to Duraludon's good physical bulk. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave, and it handles Physical Fairy- and Ice-types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, Choice Scarf Cloyster, and Weavile. Dragonite provides a Ground immunity to check Mold Breaker Excadrill, and it can either take advantage of Toxic Spikes wearing down walls with a Dragon Dance set or provide Defog support with a defensive set.

Draco Meteor is an option over Protect, allowing Dragalge to catch Poison-resistant Pokemon such as Garchomp, Toxapex, and Dragapult switching in on Gunk Shot. However, the most common switch-ins to Dragalge are Steel-types such as Klefki and Ferrothorn and general walls such as Gastrodon, which do not mind Draco Meteor either. Because teams like Psychic and Ground teams have Poison-types that absorb Toxic Spikes, a set with Rest, Sleep Talk, Gunk Shot, and Flip Turn may be considered for more longevity. However, Toxic Spikes goes a long way against types such as Normal and Fairy, easing would-be difficult matchups for Dragon teams. Payapa Berry may be used to properly check Tapu Lele and Volcarona, which may otherwise remove Dragalge with their Psychic-type attacks, but the lack of Black Sludge recovery makes it easier to wear down.

Having access to Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams, as they further enhance Dragon teams' offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy, Ghost, and Normal. Its Poison typing also allows Dragalge to take Fairy-type attacks from foes like Tapu Fini and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and remove the opposing Toxic Spikes from foes like Toxapex. Coupled with its immense special defense, Dragalge is able to blanket check special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Nihilego, and Galarian Moltres. Gunk Shot is Dragalge's way of dealing damage while having a way to nail the aforementioned Fairy-types, as it is a physical move that damages Calm Mind users such as Clefable and Hatterene better. Dragalge's low Speed allows it to put Flip Turn to excellent use, bringing in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely against Pokemon it underspeeds, such as Toxapex, that like to spread status. Protect is used for scouting Choice-locked Pokemon such as Tapu Lele, Indeedee-M, Jirachi, and Gengar, providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating Toxic Spikes damage. Adaptability bolsters the power of Gunk Shot greatly and allows Dragalge to beat non-Psyshock Hatterene, Tapu Fini, and Clefable on a one-on-one. (sounds repeating, just mention adaptability on the line explaining gunk shot) The EVs are dumped to HP and Special Defense to benefit best from Dragalge's natural bulk. (spread notably is perfectly 2hkoed by specs aegislash, so that's notable) 24 Speed IVs along with a Sassy nature allow Dragalge to underspeed Toxapex, thus acting as a sponge to status inflicting moves such as Scald and Toxic, while still being able to outspeed and 2HKO Trick Room Hatterene with Gunk Shot. ("while still being able to 2HKO Hatterene and outspeed it under trick room", feels kinda bunched and this seems a little clearer)

Substitute users such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes, greatly as it helps them to break types like Normal, Fairy, and Ground more consistently throughout the game. Furthermore, Dragalge can act as a slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. In return, Kyurem can take advantage of Water-types that are not afraid of facing Dragalge such as Gastrodon and Toxapex with Freeze-Dry, while Hydreigon provides a Psychic immunity and takes advantage of Steel- and Poison-types such as Ferrothorn and Toxapex that switch into Dragalge. Choice Scarf Dragapult is an excellent revenge killer against foes like Kingdra under Swift Swim, Choice Scarf Weavile, and Dragon Dance Dragapult with its almost unresisted STAB combination. Dragapult can also take advantage of Dragalge's Toxic Spikes ability to spread status with Hex, and appreciates Toxic Spikes' ability to put defensive checks of Dragon Dance Dragapult such as Kasib berry Slowbro and Hippowodon on a timer. Furthermore, its Ghost typing allows Dragapult to act as a spinblocker against foes like Excadrill and Torkoal. Garchomp also benefits from Dragalge's slow pivoting abilities, allowing it to take advantage of Pokemon such as Toxapex and Klefki which come in on Dragalge. Garchomp can also utilize a Choice Scarf set to threaten Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, Cinderace, and Zeraora. Latias provides a Ground immunity, Defog to prolong Dragalge's longevity which is especially important in the Fairy matchup(defog gets rid of its tspikes also, id personally say that healing with prolong its longevity probably. but the current flow could be confusing if you arent specifying spikes yknow. id rephrase or completely remove defog.), and has access to Healing Wish which lets Dragalge have a second chance in checking Tapu Lele or Tapu Fini. Duraludon is another good partner for Dragalge, as the duo forms a good defensive backbone thanks to Duraludon's good physical bulk. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave and handle other Fairy- and Ice-types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, Choice Scarf Cloyster, and Weavile. Noivern can help Dragalge in many ways between its sets; a standard stallbreaker set prevents common Defog users such as opposing Noivern and Braviary from removing Toxic Spikes with Taunt, and its access to U-turn lets the duo perform as a pivot core with Dragalge's access to Flip Turn. Furthermore, its Flying typing lets Noivern switch into Ground-type attacks from foes like Choice Scarf Excadrill and Landorus-T. (Mention Dragonite for ground immunity + it being able to cover many mus + defog IF needed)

Dragalge's low Speed allows it to lets it put Flip Turn to excellent use, bringing in teammates such as Kyurem and Hydreigon safely against Pokemon it underspeeds, such as Toxapex, that like to spread status. Protect is used for scouting scouts Choice-locked Pokemon, (AC) such as Tapu Lele, Jirachi, and Gengar, while providing an extra turn of Black Sludge recovery as well as accumulating and Toxic Spikes damage. The EVs are dumped to HP and Special Defense to benefit best from Dragalge's natural bulk, however, it's frail enough to be 2HKOed by Choice Specs Aegislash. 24 Speed IVs along with a Sassy nature allow Dragalge to underspeed Toxapex, thus acting as a sponge to status inflicting sponging its status-inflicting moves such as Scald and Toxic, while still being able to outspeed and 2HKO Toxic before pivoting with Flip Turn, while "outspeeding" (its not clear from this analysis why you wouldnt just run 0 spe ivs: maybe clarify that if possible) Hatterene under Trick Room to 2HKO it.

Substitute users such as Kyurem and Hydreigon appreciate Toxic Spikes greatly, as it continually helps them to break through types like Normal, Fairy, and Ground more consistently throughout the game. Furthermore, Dragalge can act as a slow pivot for the two with Flip Turn. In return, Kyurem can take advantage of crush Water-types that are not afraid of facing don't fear Dragalge such as Gastrodon and Toxapex with Freeze-Dry, while Hydreigon provides a Psychic immunity, (AC) and it takes advantage of Steel- and Poison-types such as Ferrothorn and Toxapex that switch into Dragalge. Choice Scarf Dragapult is an excellent revenge killer that threatens foes like Kingdra under Swift Swim, in rain, Choice Scarf Weavile, and Dragon Dance Dragapult with its almost unresisted STAB combination. Dragapult can also take advantage of Dragalge's Toxic Spikes ability to spread status with Hex, and it also appreciates Toxic Spikes' ability to put Toxic Spikes from Dragalge enables Dragapult's Hex and puts defensive checks of Dragon Dance Dragapult, (AC) such as Kasib berry Berry Slowbro and Hippowodon Hippowdon, on a timer. Furthermore, its Ghost typing allows Dragapult to act as a spinblocker lets Dragapult spinblock against foes like Excadrill and Torkoal to keep Toxic Spikes up. Garchomp also benefits from Dragalge's slow pivoting abilities, allowing it to take taking advantage of Pokemon such as Toxapex and Klefki, (AC) which come in on Dragalge. Thanks to its Steel typing, Duraludon can switch into Choice Scarf Jirachi's Iron Head and threaten it with Thunder Wave and handle other Wave, and it handles many (or like "some" if many is too strong, etc) Fairy- and Ice-types such as Azumarill, Mimikyu, Choice Scarf Cloyster, and Weavile. Dragonite provides a Ground immunity to check Mold Breaker Excadrill, (AC) and it can either take advantage of Toxic Spikes wearing down walls with a Dragon Dance set or provide Defog support with a defensive set.

Draco Meteor is an option over Protect, as this allows allowing Dragalge to catch Poison-resistant Pokemon such as Garchomp, Toxapex, and Dragapult switching in to take advantage of Gunk Shot's inaccuracy. on Gunk Shot. (i assume this is fine? if not, you can keep something to effect of previous, but i assume a lot of them fear gunk shot poison more than just "it hits", and youd want to work that in somehow if true) However, the most common switch-ns switch-ins to Dragalge are Steel-types such as Klefki and Ferrothorn and general walls such as Gastrodon, (AC) which do not mind Draco Meteor either. Because types teams ("types" isnt wrong here, im just using "teams" for clarity/readability) like Psychic and Ground teams have Poison-types that absorb Toxic Spikes, a set with Rest, Sleep Talk, Gunk Shot, and Flip Turn may be considered for more longevity. However, Toxic Spikes goes a long way against types such as Normal and Fairy, easing would-be difficult matchups for Dragon teams. Payapa berry Berry may be used to properly check Tapu Lele and Volcarona, (AC) which would may otherwise remove Dragalge with their coverage options, Psychic-type attacks, but the lack of Black Sludge recovery makes it easier to wear down.

Having access to Toxic Spikes makes Dragalge an excellent pick for Dragon teams, as it further enhances Dragon teams' teams to further enhance their offensive presence, most notably against types such as Fairy, Ghost, and Normal. Its Poison typing also allows Dragalge to take Fairy-type attacks from foes like Tapu Fini and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and remove the opposing Toxic Spikes. This is implemented...
(its not clear from this analysis why you wouldnt just run 0 spe ivs: maybe clarify that if possible)
tbh I don't know either, but 0 speed EVs also lets it outslow Amoongus (so it gets spored), and Hatterene will now outspeed it outside of TR, which is kindaa worrisome, if ever

Thank you so much though, Adeleine :blobnom:
