Cycle 3: Results!

Cycle 3 saw a bunch of fresh faces joining the fray, with our winner DLT1Miltank seemingly coming out of nowhere to rocket to a top spot on the ladder at 1768 Elo! Just behind him were five other DLT accounts, bunched up in a surprisingly close fight for the qualification spots. Despite many predicting this round to be more lax than previous rounds, the lowest qualifying Elo actually increased to 1751, with DLT69 Memeric and Dlt 1 Tcian just missing out on a spot. Special mention goes to DLT1 Florist, who just missed out on qualification last round (coming in 5th place) but managed to stage a comeback to land in second place this time around.

Qualifiers: miltankmilk (1768) || FloristtheBudew (1767) || Mishimono (1762) || Stax (1751)

As always, qualifiers can still ladder, but can't qualify a second time for the tournament, so their slots will be passed down. On that note, congratulations to all of our qualifiers! Cycle 4 starts now; this is your last chance to make it into the playoffs in one of the final four slots. All the best to our ladderers!

Cycle 4: Results!

And it's time for our last cycle of results: Cycle 4! This cycle rounded off with a flurry of action in the last hours before the deadline: 4 hours before the deadline at 8:00 PM EDT, DLT1 Blaze 45 sat on the cusp of qualification with a particularly precarious score of 1708, but he was tragically overtaken in the last hours by dlt4grosorteil, bringing the overall qualification cutoff to 1728. While definitely lower than in previous rounds, 1728 is not a score to sniff at, especially with the gross amounts of hax and tilt that tend to plague the ladder, especially at such precarious heights. On the other hand, it's notable that activity seemed to have dropped off by this round; even our highest qualifier, DLT69 Memeric, posted a score lower than all of those qualifying through previous rounds! Will this round of qualifiers be able to make their way through the playoffs despite their seeding disadvantage? Only time will tell!

Qualifiers: Memoric (1743) || shaian (1733) || SamVGC (1732) || Gros orteil (1728)

Congratulations to all 16 users who qualified for the playoffs of the Doubles Ladder Tournament! The playoffs will be coming shortly, and the OP will be edited to reflect them. All 16 of you will be notified once the playoffs are up (should be within the next 12 hours). As for those of you who just barely missed out on qualifying, you still have a chance to make your way into the playoffs in the form of substitutes, if they are required. Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs, and to everyone else, thank you for participating and making the laddering phase of this tournament an exciting and memorable one!
