hello and welcome to this rmt. i wanted to write this as every teamtour im playing in is over, and because this team i believe was worth showcasing. its an standard web team but with some unusual sets and "techs" that i used to force a tiebreaker in the Español Premier League finals. theres not much else to say so lets just get straight into the team:


1. the team:

:ribombee: :arceus: :zacian-crowned: :koraidon:
ribombee is the best sticky web pokemon in ubers because it outspeeds arceus and can sticky web before getting taunted by it, while also threatening faster taunt pokemon like koraidon and miraidon with moonblast. arceus, zacian-c and koraidon are the team's main offense and wallbreaking core. each of them share same checks like landorus-t, toxapex, and skeledirge, which they can wear them down together.

rayquaza is another physical threat and the team's counterplay to zacian-c.

miraidon rounds up the team by being another wallbreaker than can break through physical walls like groudon.

sticky web are the main focus of this team and the main way of dealing with pokemon like zacian-c. quiver dance is used on the last slot so ribombee always breaks zacian-c's substitute at +1 spa. without this, zacian-c would steamroll the team without counterplay. psychic allows ribombee to antilead glimmora and beat it comfortably. tera ghost allows ribombee to be immune to ekiller arceus's extreme speed, allowing it to set sticky web on its face.

arceus has a fundamental place in the team as a flutter mane soft-check, offense check with extreme speed, and one of the first physical wall lures. the combination of swords dance and taunts beats every bulky and slow pokemon like toxapex and skeledirge 1v1 while denying a potential defog from the likes of giratina-o and corviknight. lum berry is the item of choice so that arceus has more turns to attack skeledirge and beat it faster. tera fire gives arceus a way of beating koraidon if needed while also resisting both of zacian-c's stabs and being immune to burn.

zacian-c needs no introduction. between its absurd speed and superb offenses, its the team's main breaker and revenge killer. tera blast ground functions as a toxapex and skeledirge lure, paving the way for its other teammates, who dont need tera as much, to finishing breaking the opposition and winning the game. tera ground can also be used to take out tera fire ekiller arceus, which has been getting more and more popular.

another pokemon that needs no introduction is the King of the tier, koraidon. forming alongside ekiller arceus and zacian-c the main wallbreaker core, koraidon is the most likely of the three to sweep, although this depends on the game matchup. stomping tantrum allows koraidon to heavily damage skeledirge after it switched into low kick, as stomping tantrum doubles in damage if the move the turn prior failed. this, alongside flare blitz, always ensures skeledirge dies after it took a boosted stomping tantrum. lum berry fully permits this interaction, as without it, koraidon would be forced to terastalize into the fire type.

rayquaza is the team's only counterplay without terastalizing to zacian-c. focus sash allows it to tank every move assuming stealth rock are not in the field and hit back with a strong earthquake. this is crucial because earthquake + extreme speed + ekiller arceus's extreme speed revenge kills zacian-c without having to terastalize koraidon into the fire type.

last but not least, miraidon rounds up the offensive presence of the team. timid is necessary so miraidon always outspeeds scarf koraidon under webs, which is very important for these kinds of teams and this team in particular. electric seed helps miraidon take hits from ekiller arceus more easily, which can be further emphazised by tera steel, which not only makes miraidon resist extreme speed but also both of zacian-c's stab moves. overheat is used on the last slot for miraidon to have a midground play between teams with ground and fairy types. it also ohkoes zacian-c.


3. threat list:

a well played miraidon will always be annoying, especially agility variants which can just straight up sweep hyper offense teams. electro seed agility variants are very hard to stop once they get going, so stopping them before it can get a lot of boosts is necessary, although not always possible. arceus can pick up a weakened mirai and zacian-c can terastallice into the ground-type to be immune to parabolic charge and hit back with a strong tera blast ground. rayquaza's focus sash is also important for this matchup.
