Corviknight is a poor Defogger in the metagame, but its defensive profile still allows it to check Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, Great Tusk, and Kartana. It also individually beats hazard setters like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Clodsire. Brave Bird is the preferred option that pressures Dragapult, Zamazenta, Urshifu-R, and Iron Valiant, while Body Press pressures Kingambit, Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Weavile. Iron Defense or Bulk Up can be used over Defog to turn Corviknight into a bulky win condition and to improve its ability to check threats like Kingambit, Urshifu-R, and Dragon Dance Dragapult. Body Press should be used with Iron Defense, while Brave Bird can instead be used with Bulk Up. U-turn allows Corviknight to maintain momentum against the threats that it checks while also bringing in frailer teammates. The given HP and Defense EVs allow Corviknight to live a +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T, while the rest of the EVs being in Special Defense helps out against Tapu Lele and Iron Valiant. Rocky Helmet allows Corviknight to chip threats like Mega Lopunny and Weavile. Tera Dragon removes Corviknight's Electric and Fire weaknesses and potentially allows it to turn the tables on Heatran and Rotom-W. Tera Ground can instead be used to halt Volt Switch attempts and surprise Tapu Koko, but the resistances it grants are not as consistently valuable as Dragon. Corviknight's biggest problem by far is Gholdengo, which blocks Corviknight's Defog attempts and sets up on it. Options that deal with it, such as Kingambit, Weavile, Ting-Lu, and Clodsire are therefore mandatory partners. U-turn can bring in the former two to Pursuit trap Gholdengo, while the latter two can stave it off defensively. Kingambit is especially potent with Corviknight, as it appreciates Corviknight's Rocky Helmet applying chip damage onto its checks like Mega Lopunny and Zamazenta. U-turn can also bring in other threats safely, such as Dragapult, Walking Wake, and Heatran. Corviknight's defensive profile gets taken advantage of by threats like Heatran, Mega Charizard Y, and Volcarona, so options such as your own Heatran, Garchomp, and Toxapex can help out in this regard.

Corviknight's efficacy as a Defogger has decreased greatly in Generation 9, the part after defogger can't be used because heavy emphasis on metagame changes from one generation to another can't be done. reword accordingly. but its defensive profile still allows it to check Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Kartana. It also individually beats hazard setters like Ferrothorn, Landorus-T, Gastrodon, and Clodsire. Body Press is the preferred attacking option in order to pressure Kingambit, Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Weavile. Brave Bird is a legitimate option however, as it instead pressures Dragapult, Zamazenta, Urshifu-RS, remove the S and Iron Valiant. U-turn allows Corviknight to maintain momentum against the threats that it checks. mention that you bring in frail teammates as well The given EVs allow Corviknight to live a +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T. The rest of the EVs being in Special Defense helps out against Tapu Lele and Iron Valiant. condense these two sentences Rocky Helmet allows Corviknight to chip threats like Mega Lopunny and Weavile. Tera Dragon Dragon Tera-type removes Corviknights Electric and Fire weaknesses and potentially allows it to turn the tables on Heatran and Rotom-Wash. Rotom-W Ground can also be used to stuff Volt Switch attempts and surprise Tapu Koko, but the resistances it grants are not as consistently valuable as Dragon. Corviknight's biggest problem by far is Gholdengo, who blocks Corviknight's Defog attempts and can set up on it. Options that deal with it, such as Kingambit, Weavile, Ting Lu, add a hyphen and Clodsire are therefore mandatory if one chooses to run Corviknight. Corviknight's U-turn can bring in the former two to Pursuit trap Gholdengo, while the latter two can stave it off defensively. Kingambit is especially potent with Corviknight, as it appreciates Corviknight's Rocky Helmet applying chip onto its checks like Mega Lopunny and Zamazenta. Corviknight's is a poor Defogger in the National Dex metagame, but its defensive profile still allows it to check Mega Lopunny, Garchomp, and Kartana think tusk shld be mentioned. It also individually beats hazard setters like Ferrothorn, (rc) Landorus-T, Gastrodon, (rc) and Clodsire first leech seeds on you and w that u take way too much compared to what u can actually recover cuz roost nerf, and u only beat the second if it misses scald, cuz if not well you're screw, think there's better examples. Body Press is the preferred attacking option in order to pressure Kingambit, Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Weavile. Brave Bird is a legitimate option however, as it instead pressures Dragapult, Zamazenta, Urshifu-R, and Iron Valiant.
