Metagame CAP 1v1 - Moveset Submissions [MrDollSteak promoted to co-lead!]

:voodoom:

Voodoom @ Chople Berry
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Charge
- Thunderbolt
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast

Chople Berry Voodoom with interesting tech in Charge to live any hit from Tomohawk without a boosting item and ohko back with double power thunderbolt. Chople berry allows Voodoom to beat other Voodoom and OHKO spdef Arghonaut with thunderbolt after a charge boost and close combat defense drop.

:kerfluffle:

Kerfluffle @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 200 HP / 88 SpD / 220 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Yawn
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Dream Eater

Yawn and protect is great, since it gives guaranteed sleep. Aroma veil is the only one of kerf’s three abilities that actually do anything in a 1v1 scenario, and it gives useful immunities to taunt, disable, and encore. The goal is to get the opponent to sleep before using moonblast or dream eater depending on the target. Petaya berry is the item because this is meant to target scarf Jumbao and Mollux, since this bulky kerf can eat a super effective hit and get the 1.5x boost to then 2hko with moonblast and dream eater respectively. The shakiness of sleep can mess this set up if the opponent wakes early, but when it works, it works wonders.

Colossoil @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Facade/aqua tail/sucker punch
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

This is a standred set used by Hariyama in gen 5 1v1 but less bulkier. Fake Out allows first turn flinch vs anything other than ghost While burn orb activates. Facade can be used as a strong neutral move. Aqua Tail can be used to hit Equilibra super effectively. Sucker Punch can be used as a second form of priority. EQ and Knock Off are your stab moves.

This needs to be EV Optomized but it looks like a cool set none the less

If it needs to be optomized for anything itd probably be kerfluffle as thats the only thing faster

Cawmodore @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Bullet Punch
- Iron Head
- Acrobatics

Things it loses to Smokodo, Plasmanta, and Smokodo but its a pretty solid stall breaker, Intimidate is to give it more survivability vs physical attackers, and I added bullet punch because the combonation of steel/Acro makes for good coverage in this metagame, nd bullet punch gives it fast priority for possible close matchups

It reminds me alot of big daddy gyarados, just tons of bulk that allows it to set up. Obviously it's not as good as mega gyarados but solid none the less.

Also what about the prevos? there might be a prevo that could be solid in this metagame.

Necturna (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Forewarn
EVs: 232 HP / 36 Atk / 56 SpD / 184 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Claw
- Shell Smash
- Power Whip
- Substitute

I'm surprised no one has wrote anything about Necturna yet since it seems so unique. From my perspective, Necturna has some traits from both CAP and 1v1; the set above utilizes the popular CAP Sketch choice of Shell Smash to act similarly to Crustle and Blastoise in 1v1 in that it tries to first Shell Smash and then OHKO the opposing pokemon. 232 HP ensures Necturna to live Non-Guts Max Attack Boosting natured Colossoil's Crunch so that you can in return OHKO it with Power Whip. The 56 SpD along with the previously stated HP EVs ensures that you tank Max SpA Specs Stratagem's Fire Blast. 148 EVs in speed ensures for Necturna to outspeed Kerfluffle after a single Shell Smash. The rest of the EVs are dumped into attack with an Adamant nature to maximize damage.

:Aurumoth:
Aurumoth @ Choice Scarf
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psyshock / Psychic
- Thunder
- Focus Blast / Overheat
- Bug Buzz

This is a [CAP-like] and [1v1-like] set that takes advantage of Auru's speed, power and insane No-guard boosted coverage. Max special attack is needed to try and score OHKOs on Kerf and Scarf Mollux with Psyshock (although they're not 100% chances). The Speed EVs are there to outspeed Scarf Volkraken and attempt to paralyze it with Thunder for the 2HKO (no amount of special bulk with Max Special Attack investment allows it to live anyway) with the rest dumped into HP. Psychic can always be run over Psyshock depending on how things EV themselves, but at this stage many of the things it wants to hit with Psychic coverage are more bulky on the Special side naturally. Bug Buzz cleanly OHKOs Caribolt and Colossoil about 80% of the time. Thunder is important for the 2HKO on Volk (on the off chance it survives) as mentioned before, as well as for Naviathan which is cleanly OHKOd and Snaelstrom which takes a 50-60% which depending on sequencing could also take away Snaelstroms healing with a lucky bit of paralysis. Focus Blast is there to OHKO Stratagem and 2HKO Equi cleanly, although Overheat can be run to still hit Equi (although it only 2HKOs about 80% of the time) Kitsunoh and Jumbao.

Stratagem @ Passho Berry/Sitrus Berry/Chople Berry/Rindo Berry/Babiri Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute/Protect
- Disable
- Paleo Wave
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Dazzling Gleam/Earth Power/Shadow Ball

What this set does is you sub/protect up then, you disable the offensive move. This set is most relevant when vs a Choiced item as thy well struggle to death when you disable there move. Paleo Wave is your main stab option. Chose which berry you want depending on your team. Fire blast/ Flamethrower is used to hit steel types such as Equilibra/Kitsunoh. Dazzling Gleam is for Voodoom. Earth Power can be used to hit poisen type super effectively such as Fidgit and Crucibelle. Shadow Ball can be used to hit Pajantom super effectively.

This Pokemon is again based off of Dragapult who uses this same strategy in it's main set.
Dragapult @ Sitrus Berry

I'm so sorry that I'm only submitting scarfers guys, I just find speed tiers very interesting and it strikes me as one of the best offensive items in 1v1 matchups. This probably takes the cake as the most ludicrous suggestion so far though.

:Equilibra:
Equilibra @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Bulletproof / Levitate
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 228 Spe
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Steel Beam
- Aura Sphere
- Hyper Beam

This is a [Unique] set for Equilibra designed to destroy Fidgit (among other things). The Speed EVs ensure it always outspeeds Band Kitsunoh and subsequently Fidgit too. The HP EVs are designed to make sure its HP cannot be divided by four meaning that it won't be killed by Struggle if disabled, and because Fidgit cannot touch Equilibra with Sludge Wave and can fire off another Earth Power to finish it off. Steel Beam (and Aura Sphere are the only other special damaging moves that Equi will realistically ever want to run, so the 4th slot is reserved for Hyper Beam as a random nuke that can beat Snaelstrom depending on sequencing and PP. As gimmicky as this set looks at first glance, it actually outspeeds and OHKOs a few key Pokemon like Smokomodo, Naviathan, Band Kitsunoh and Caribolt. It also naturally beats some common Pokemon that continue to outspeed it such as Stratagem and Mollux a good amount of the time. Bulletproof is actually the preferred ability to mess with Aurumoth and opposing Choice-locked Equis, because Levitate is only really better against Earth Power Fidgit (who it will automatically beat 50% of the time) and Colossoil that beats it with Fake Out and Knock Off anyway. That being said it can obviously still be run for mind games in typical Equilibra fashion.

:Equilibra:
Equilibra @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate / Bulletproof
EVs: 248 HP / 40 Def / 160 SpA / 60 SpD
Modest Nature
- Earth Power
- Flash Canon
- Aura Sphere
- Doom Desire

This is another [Unique] set showcasing Equilibra. Shunosaurus first shared the idea of using Specs Doom Desire to destroy Fidgit with me while testing Fidgit matchups. I then played around with the EVs to make it more able to deal with other meta threats such as Scarf Volk. Specs Doom Desire is a clean OHKO on Fidgit 100% of the time and can't be stopped by any of its shenanigans, be it Protect, Encore, DD or Taunt. The Defensive EVs allow it to tank an Overheat from Volk (and subsequently Fire Blast and/or Hydro Pump too) and OHKO it back with Earth Power. Flash Cannon is run because Steel Beam causes Equilibra to faint before the opponent, meaning that even though it is a huge nuke, if Equilibra is under 50% it will just lose. Levitate is the preferred ability here to give us a chance to beat Knock Off Colossoil (it's still slim) and solidifies the Fidgit matchup. Bulletproof is an option to mess with other Equilibra, although this is a 50% MU anyway, and Steel Beam is able to cleanly OHKO Aurumoth so there's no reason to be worried about its Focus Blast.

Haven't played a single game of CAP 1v1 but I was theorycrafting...if anyone wants to take these sets and improve upon them go for it :)

Mollux @ Power Herb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 8 SpA / 136 SpD / 112 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Solar Beam
- Overheat
- Sludge Wave
- Thunder

This set lets Mollux live Stratagem's Choice Specs Paleo Wave and KO back with Solar Beam. I'm not sure if there's a way to survive Choice Specs Earth Power, or if the EV spread is good outside of that, but it seems decent enough as a lure?

Krilowatt @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Toxic
- Protect

Also no idea if the spread is good or what to do with the last two slots, but Counter and Mirror Coat should beat most anything that hits Krilowatt. Max special defense to tank Equilibra's Earth Power.

EDIT:

Malaconda @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 244 HP / 12 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Spiky Shield
- Rest

yeah mala sucks but this is probably the best it'll do, idk about spread

EDIT 2:

Tomohawk @ Roseli Berry
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Yawn
- Protect
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave

prankster yawn? balanced.

Since no one's gotten around to Pyroak yet I thought I'd post the diabolical stall theory craft.

:Pyroak:
Pyroak @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Amnesia
- Acid Armor
- Lava Plume
- Synthesis / Leech Seed / Rest

This set is a [1v1-like] double defense boosting stall set similar to Gastrodon. What sets Pyroak apart, however, is Battle Armor giving it an immunity to critical hits and a range of recovery options. The chosen EV spread allows it to tank Paleo Wave from Stratagem and Sludge Bomb from Mollux and follow it up with an Amnesia and the proccing of its Sitrus Berry to avoid the 2HKO, and to then start recovering. Lava Plume is a pretty important move to prevent it from being complete Taunt and other Grass-type bait, and can also fish for Burns for additional passive damage, or in the case of Cawmodore and Jumbao straight up kill them. Synthesis is the preferred option over Leech Seed to solidify certain matchups against strong attackers that can 3HKO through an Acid Armor or Amnesia, the recovery from Sitrus and 1 turn of Leech Seed such as Specs Stratagem. Rest is another effective option that can be run to prevent it crumbling to other status efefcts.

:revenankh:
Revenankh @ Choice Band
Ability: Triage
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Atk / 28 Def / 76 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Earthquake
- Shadow Claw
- Trick

This is a [CAP-like] set that imitates older gens of Revenankh, while showcasing its unique priority Drain Punch. 152 Attack is all that is needed to OHKO Colossoil, Stratagem, Voodoom, Malaconda and Naviathan without defense investment. It also has a roughly 70% chance to 2HKO Cawmodore after a Belly Drum and Intimidate drop. Earthquake is there to OHKO Smokomodo, Mollux, Crucibelle, Plasmanta and Kitsunoh which all fail to OHKO Revenankh first and always 2HKOs Volkraken even if it gets Burned from a Fire Blast. Shadow Claw rounds its stab coverage allowing it to cleanly OHKO Pajantom and Necturna who cannot OHKO Revenankh unless running Choice Bands themselves. Trick is a great final move that allows it to shutdown stall Pokemon like Pyroak who would otherwise wall this set. It's final EVs are distributed in such a way as to maximise its bulk, with an emphasis on the special side of things to dodge the 2HKO from Volkraken's Fire Blast (even if it gets Burned).

:Arghonaut:
Arghonaut @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 204 Atk / 52 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

While [Unique] by Arghonaut standards, this set is a classic [1v1-like] bulky Choice attacking set that takes advantage of Arghonaut's good coverage options and STAB technician boosted priority. Mach Punch cleanly OHKOs Voodoom, Naviathan, Stratagem and Malaconda about 75% of the time and 2HKOing other attackers that fail to OHKO such as Syclant. Waterfall OHKOs Smokomodo, Crucibelle and Equilibra. Earthquake destroys Plasmanta, Mollux, Kitsunoh, and Volkraken. Knock Off in the final spot allows it to OHKO Pajantom and give it a chance against Necturna who it outspeeds because of the 52 Speed EVs and KOs about 40% of the time. The rest of the EVs have been placed into HP to give it some necessary bulk on both ends of the spectrum, allowing it to dodge OHKOs from Life Orb Plasmanta as well as Krilowatt. An alternate set using a Life Orb over the Choice Band and Aqua Jet over Waterfall can be run to guarantee winning matchups against Aurumoth and Krilowatt, although it does sacrifice a few of the other guaranteed and possible OHKOs against Necturna, Voodoom, Colossoil and Malaconda.

:cyclohm:
Cyclohm @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Shield Dust
EVs: 216 HP / 100 SpA / 40 SpD / 152 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Surf

This is a [CAP-Like] set that takes advantage of Cyclohms great coverage and good SpA stat to be a potent revenge killer. 152 Speed EVs are run to outspeed Band Kitsunoh. 216 HP allows it to tank an outrage from AV Pajantom to ensure it can 2HKO it with Draco Meteor, non AV variants are OHKOd by Draco Meteor. Thunderbolt is reliable stab that destroys Arghonaut, Scarf Volk (Specs can OHKO with Hyper Beam), Tomohawk, Naviathan and Intimidate Cawmodore. Flamethrower is a guaranteed 2HKO on Scarf Auru while Auru's Bug Buzz is only a 3HKO thanks to the 40 SpD EVS, and a 2HKO on Kits which can't OHKO with EQ and also beats Caribolt. Surf is there to demolish non-scarf Smokomodo and also allows it to 2HKO Colossoil. Shield Dust is the preferred ability since it prevents any additional effects shenanigans (most importantly the Flinch from Fake Out).

I've updated the OP once again. I'd ideally like to get Version 1.0 of CAP 1v1 up tomorrow, which means we need at least two movesets for every CAP. Even if it's not an optimal set, go ahead and post your ideas! Remember, you can utilize the sets that currently exist to make a NEW set that will throw the opponent off. Here's what we still need:

:revenankh: Revenankh (Bulk Up? Triage? Berry?)
:pyroak: Pyroak (Choiced? LO?)
:fidgit: Fidgit (CB? Trick Room?)
:kitsunoh: Kitsunoh (Scarf? LO? Berry?)
:voodoom: Voodoom (Scarf? Specs?)
:aurumoth: Aurumoth (Specs? Berry?)
:malaconda: Malaconda (Choiced? More Berries?)
:cawmodore: Cawmodore (CB? Berry?)

Double dance special Naviathan, similar to gen 7 Magearna. Speed is to outspeed max speed Jumbao, Flash cannon because nothing is immune to steel. Heatproof because guts and light metal are worthless and at least we can take less damage from Volkrakken this way.

This set uses Malaconda’s high attack and repairs it’s low speed to make a decent set. Solar blade for a high power grass move, Crunch for dark stab, Iron tail and Wild Charge for coverage. Max speed is actually necessary to outspeed max speed Caribolt.

Crackhead set, I know. This thing has a great special movepool, and this set is supposed to get the jump on stall pokemon and it has decent special attacking power at +1. Hp is even so you can be at 25% when activating berry, Speed is for max speed Pyroak.

Here with some more heat sets!

:Pajantom:
Pajantom @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Comatose
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Atk / 92 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Imprison
- Shadow Claw
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor

This set is a [Unique] set that takes advantage of Paj's recent addition Imprison. This set shuts down a few important Super Effective attacks that allow it to swing matchups against Band Revenankh, Scarf Cyclohm and SS Necturna. Its EVd to always survive the Draco Meteor from Scarf Clohm and the subsequent Struggling after Sitrus proces, with the rest of its EVs dumped into Attack with an Adamant nature. It will also always beat LO Kitsunoh and Smokomodo with EQ.

:Pajantom:
Pajantom @ Choice Band
Ability: Comatose
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Spirit Shackle
- Earthquake
- Brave Bird

Another classic [1v1-like] fast and relatively bulky Band set. The Speed EVs are designed to outspeed Smokomodo to OHKO with Earthquake since it is never OHKOd by Plasmanta, with the rest moved into HP, allowing it to survive the Knock Off from Band Argh. Spirit Shackle OHKOs opposing Ghosts, while Outrage is a generically strong STAB attack that OHKOs frail pokemon such as Caribolt, and 2HKOs most bulky pokemon. Earthquake rounds at coverage by hitting Steel types and Fire types. Brave Bird as the last slot OHKOs Yawn Kerfluffle.

:Arghonaut:
Arghonaut @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Atk / 80 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Aqua Jet
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

While superficially very similar to the Band set, this is a [Unique] [1v1-like] that takes full advantage of Arghonaut's priority Technician boosted Stab attacks to swing certain unfavorable matchups. Having less of a reliance on Speed and on OHKOs off the bat, being unable to beat Necturna anyway, Argh is free to invest in a bit more into its Special Bulk here. 176 Attack EVs guarantees the 2HKO on Aurumoth with Knock Off followed by Aqua Jet, as well as Life Orb Krilowatt with Earthquake into Mach Punch, and a 50% to beat Scarf Cyclohm with Earthquake into Mach Punch. It still OHKOs Stratagem with Mach Punch or Aqua Jet, and can survive the first attacks of Pokemon it barely misses out on the KO against such as Voodoom and Naviathan.

:crucibelle:
Crucibelle @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Coil
- Stone Edge
- Gunk Shot
- Rest

This is a [CAP-like] set that showcases Crucibelle's ability to use Coil. Sadly it is destroyed by most physical attackers anyway because they carry Earthquake and it can't OHKO any of them (yes, not even Argh with +1 Wood Hammer) even with a Shuca Berry factored in. As such it's meant to take on specific stall Pokemon like Pyroak, Yawn Kerfluffle, Snaelstrom and CounterCoat Krilowatt instead. Rest is included to give it a way to recover and shed burns against Pyroak, and Chesto included to wake up it one crucial time, as well as to demolish Yawn Kerfluffle before it can Dream Eater. Liquid Ooze is chosen to damage Leech Seed Necturna and Pyroak, because Mold Breaker does not hit anything new, though it is of course an option to allow for crits on Pyroak to end the stall madness. EVs are straightforward since it doesn't really need anything anywhere else.

:crucibelle:
Crucibelle @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Impish Nature
- Trick
- Torment
- Toxic
- Rest

Honestly Crucibelle is pretty horrible in this metagame, even when running more serious sets such as the one above, subsequently I recommend embracing the meme potential of the Pokemon. This is a [unique] anti-Stall set that aims to mess with things like Fidgit, Kerfluffle, Pyroak and setup sweepers, and basically wins against nothing else. The game plan is to Trick the Choice Scarf onto the Pokemon, preferably when on a non-attacking move, and immediately hitting it with the Torment to cause it to start struggling. Toxic speeds up their demise, and Rest brings you back to full health if for whatever reason Struggle starts racking up, or they're using a move that doesn't 2HKO you. Speed is set to 80 to allow it to outspeed Stratagem and in the very slim chance that it's not also choiced, allow it to Torment and then Rest. The rest are dumped into Bulk. Liquid Ooze allows it to kill Pyroak and Necturna with Leech Seed faster.

:crucibelle:
Crucibelle @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
Impish Nature
- Torment
- Protect
- Substitute
- Draining Kiss

This is a marginally better [Unique] set than the former one. It works in a similar way, but specifically targets Choiced Attackers. The premise of this set is to Torment the choiced attack, which will presumably be Earthquake, and then alternate turns using Protect or Substitute as required, until the opponent has struggled to death. The issue is of course that using Shuca Berry means forgoing recovery, which means the struggle damage, especially from Banded pokemon, really starts to add up. Since Draining Kiss is all that Crucibelle gets access to as far as recovery, this is what it shall run in the last slot. It almost replicates Black Sludge recovery. Almost.

:kitsunoh:
Kitsunoh @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Torment
- Wish
- Protect
- Shadow Strike

This is a [Unique] Kitsunoh set that properly fits its concept of ultimate scout. Frisk checks the item to confirm that it's facing a Choiced attacker, and if so, it's bingo Torment time. This set works very similarly to the above Crucibelle set except that it's actually good because of Wish and a lack of 4x Weaknesses. Its EVd to be as bulky as possible on primarily the physical end of the spectrum since it loses to Volkraken no matter what and Shuca Berry allows it to survive the Earth Power from Specs Equilibra without any investment. Shadow Strike is run in the last slot to give it something to do against non-Choiced opponents, but at the end of the day isn't particularly important.

Double post o.o

:Cawmodore:
Cawmodore @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 28 HP / 252 SpA / 228 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Belch
- Metal Sound
- Flash Cannon
If you're gonna do special Cawmodore this would be better

:Cawmodore:
Cawmodore @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 28 Def / 252 SpA / 228 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Hurricane
- Flash Cannon
- Hyper Beam

but banded would probably be better

:Cawmodore:
Cawmodore @ Choice Band
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Atk / 228 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drill Peck
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Bullet Punch

Cawmodore @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Bullet Punch
- Iron Head
- Acrobatics
I'm not an expert on 1v1, so I can't comment on viability too much, but BD Cawmodore should always run 4 HP EVs to consume its berry after setting up. Also, unless it achieves some important benchmark, I wouldn't even consider Intimidate over Volt Absorb, which wins you the Caribolt matchup.

Looks like we're basically at a point where everything has a few sets! Fantastic work everybody, I'm really pumped to start playing, and getting some optimisation of them done in the future.

:krillowatt:
Krilowatt @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power

This is a pretty standard [CAP-like] set that showcases Krilowatt. I find it quite funny that this was the last Krill set posted even though its one of the more obvious ones. Max Speed allows it to tie Fidgit allowing it to potentially break free from the disable encore shenanigans. Everything else is pretty standard coverage that chunks a lot of things.

:fidgit:
Fidgit @ Choice Specs
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Hyper Beam

This is a [1v1-like] Specs set for Fidgit, just so it can have something else to do besides torture opponents with shenanigans. Earth Power and Sludge Wave are strong stab options that dunk Kerfluffle, Caribolt, Smokomodo, Jumbao, Krilowatt (80% of the time), Naviathan, Kitsunoh, Crucibelle and others. Shadow Ball gives it a chance to 2HKO Revenankh which doesnt quite OHKO with EQ, and guaranteed 2HKOs Band Paj which also can't 2HKO with EQ. Hyper Beam is a strong neutral nuke, and also Fidgit doesn't have anything else worth running anyway.

:voodoom:
Voodoom @ Choice Specs
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Aura Sphere
- Thunderbolt

Voodoom is somewhat threatening with Specs. It OHKOs Colossoil, Pajantom (about 99% of the time), Kitsunoh, Syclant, Naviathan, Intimidate Cawmodore and Stratagem (so long as they're not running Dazzling Gleam). It can also break through Swords Dance Snaelstrom a fair amount of the time. Both Aura Sphere and Focus Blast are run since quite a few targets are handled by Aura Sphere alone, and there's basically no point running Flash Cannon since it's a guaranteed loss against the fairies anyway.

:mollux:
Mollux @ Air Balloon
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Sp. Def
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Armor
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Lava Plume

This is a pretty cheeky [1v1-like] double defense boosting set that destroys some of the common Choice Attackers. There are a lack of Choice users that are able to cleanly OHKO Mollux without Ground coverage and subsequently it can set up on them with its Air Balloon. It is EV'd to survive the 2HKO from a few super effectives after a Calm Mind or Acid Armor, such as Scarf Aurumoth's Psyshock and Scarf Volkraken's Power Gem. Lava Plume is the chosen attacking move since there are no immunities to it in the tier. An alternate spread of 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Sp. Def with a Calm Nature can be run to beat Specs Volkraken but sacrifices the Scarf Aurumoth matchup.

If you put volt absorb yes you beat caribolt but you lose to a whole host of other things. Its interchangable yes but I like intimidate more and then just putting another mon on the team to beat your caribolt answer.

252 evs in HP works just as well as 4.... the only requirement is that it has to be an even number to acivate its berry not specifically just 4 evs.

Even after looking carefully at the submitted sets, the only sets I found where Intimidate actually helps are against CB Arghonaut and CB Pajantom, and even then, I think Volt Absorb sets should still have a decent chance to win those matchups (it's pretty difficult to calculate the exact chances because they depend on Acrobatics hitting with and item on the first turn and without one in the second). On the other hand, Volt Absorb beats all proposed Caribolt and Plasmanta sets, and forces the proposed Voodoom set to rely on Focus Blast to have a chance to OHKO, so it seems like a much better option to me at least.

Also, I know that 4 HP is not the only option to guarantee that Sitrus Berry activates after Belly Drum, but the set you proposed uses 4 Def EVs, witch is strictly worse than 4 HP EVs.

:necturna:
Necturna (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Forewarn
EVs: 248 HP / 92 Attack / 156 Def / 12 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Power Whip
- Shadow Sneak
- Stone Edge
- Dragon Ascent / V-Create

This a standard [CAP-like] Necturna band set, that uses Sketch to give it an incredible nuke in V-Create or Dragon Ascent, that complements its stabs to punch wholes in opposing Pokemon. 92 Attack EVs are run to guarantee the 2HKO on Band Rev with Shadow Sneak, the OHKO on Argh after getting Band knocked off, while allowing it to invest in Bulk. 156 Def EVs in conjunction with 248 HP allow it to survive Knock Off from Banded Argh and Shadow Claw from banded Rev, Shadow Strike from Banded Kitsunoh, as well as Knock Off from a healthy Colossoil. 12 SpDef EVs allow it to survive Hurricane from Tomohawk and to KO non-Intimidate variants with Dragon Ascent. Stone Edge is run in the third slot to hit Mollux, Pyroak and Snaelstrom hard. V-Create is an option that can be run in the final slot instead of Dragon Ascent that hits Caribolt and Equilibra harder, though Necturna should beat them anyway with its standard moveset.

:tomohawk:
Tomohawk @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spa / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hurricane
- Aura Sphere
- Heat Wave
- Hyper Beam

This is a classic Choice Specs [1v1-like] set, we get the picture, pretty much anything can run it. Intimidate is the preferred ability for a little bit of extra bulk and since nothing else does anything for it really. Maximum HP is preferred to Speed since it's not outspeeding much. Max Special Attack and a Modest nature is needed to OHKO Arghonaut and Revenankh with Hurricane. Aura Sphere is preferred over Focus Blast for the higher accuracy, considering it OHKOs Voodoom, Stratagem, Naviathan and Colossoil anyway. Heat Wave hits Equilibra consistently since the mindgames with Aura Sphere aren't really worth the risk, and Hyper Beam is a good neutral nuke. Nature Power is an option that can be run with Prankster instead of Hyper Beam to give it a chance against some faster scarfers and Specs users that can't OHKO it, but there aren't many cases where this is possible anyway.
