Calm Mind Dunsparce (0/1)

[OVERVIEW]

In the Overview, you want to generalize what the Pokemon in question accomplishes in the metagame and where it stands. You will also want to cover its drawbacks and anything else that may hold it back. This should be a pretty basic recap of the Pokemon; the Overview typically does not need to be much longer than seven or eight sentences, though of course this varies from Pokemon to Pokemon and compromises can be made.

Dunsparce has a niche in NU in part because of its new ability to use the item Eviolite, giving it an immediate boost in bulk that lets Dunsparce have a chance to take smaller hits from more passive Pokemon like Vaporeon and Chansey and Calm Mind to threaten switch-ins like Medicham and Passimian with boosted Special Attacks, or Paralysis with Glare as it can cripple them if they are not using Choice Band. This Pokemon has good synergy with Jolteon and Vaporeon as well, both being able to pass wishes, and in Jolteons case spread Paralysis. Other notable teammates include wallbreakers such as Balsculin and Bruxish, along with Eelektross for similar reasons to Jolteon, without the weakness to Ground type attacks and having more bulk. Of course an important note is that Dunsparce is not a substitute for Dudunsparce, and should not be paired with it due to overlapping issues, as Dunsparce has key weaknesses in the NU metagame and is generally a worse Dudunsparce. The most important is the threat of Passimian and most Choice Band users, as they can reliably OHKO Dunsparce with full HP if you do not keep it healthy. Another large threat is bulky Pokemon such as Muk and Copperajah, as they can use Toxic and Body Press/Stealth Rock on Dunsparce fairly easily if it has the wrong Tera Type due to its terrible speed.

wow , so this is written pretty well, but I assumed when requesting this Pokemon you meant Dudunsparce. Dunsparce is not ranked on the VR, nor is it NU by usage, so it does not get an analysis. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
