[SET COMMENTS]

Set Description
=============
Technician-boosted Fake Out puts threats such as Garchomp, Keldeo, and bulkier Volcarona sets into guaranteed KO range for Giga Impact, which is Ambipom's strongest move. Return lets Ambipom beat stall Pokemon, such as Substitute + Protect Zapdos and some Substitute + Protect Suicune sets. Taunt helps in the matchup against Serperior, while Fire Punch gives Ambipom a better matchup against Ferrothorn and some Genesect sets. Endure gives it a better matchup against Custap Berry and Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, as well as dissuading Choice Band Snorlax from using Giga Impact.

EVs
=============
Ambipom must always use maximum Speed EVs to have the best possible odds against Raikou. It is also necessary to run maximum Attack EVs to maximize damage output.

Usage Tips
=============
Ambipom should almost always use Fake Out on the first turn. To play around foes with Custap Berry, Ambipom should always use Return over Giga Impact if both moves will KO a foe. By using Endure, Ambipom can survive an attack if a slower Pokemon like Manaphy, Porygon-Z, or Zapdos uses a Custap Berry. Endure can also be used every other turn against Choice Band Snorlax's Giga Impact and Slaking, preventing them from ever KOing Ambipom.

Set Description
=============
Technician-boosted Fake Out's chip damage allows Ambipom to get threats such as Garchomp, Keldeo, and bulkier Volcarona sets into guaranteed KO range with Giga Impact, which is Ambipom's strongest STAB. Return lets Ambipom beat many common stall Pokemon, such as Toxic Thundurus, Substitute + Protect Zapdos, Substitute + Protect Raikou this matchup is a speed tie mess, and Substitute + Protect Suicune. Taunt helps secure the matchup against Serperior and Shaymin, while Fire Punch gives Ambipom a better matchup against Ferrothorn and some Genesect sets. Endure gives Ambipom a better matchup against Custap Berry and Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, while also dissuading Choice Band Snorlax from using Giga Impact. Tickle allows Ambipom to beat Custap Berry Snorlax and Choice Band Snorlax that uses Return. once again, I am not convinced tickle is viable, we can talk in dms but if anything this should be other options

EVs
=============
Ambipom must always use maximum Speed EVs to have the best possible odds against Choice Specs Raikou both sets require winning a speed tie. It is also necessary to run maximum Attack EVs to maximize damage output.

Usage Tips
=============
Ambipom should almost always use Fake Out on the first turn. To play around foes with Custap Berry, Ambipom should always use Return over Giga Impact if both moves can KO a foe. Additionally, if Ambipom has Endure, it can survive the turn of a Custap Berry activation by using it. mention other uses for endure

Ambipom's most complicated matchup comes against Snorlax Against Choice Band Snorlax, a combination of Tickle and Endure let Ambipom win against both Return and Giga Impact, respectively. After using Fake Out, if Ambipom uses Tickle, it can survive Snorlax's Return and KO the following turn with Giga Impact. After using Fake Out, if Ambipom uses Endure, it can always survive Snorlax's Giga Impact and slowly KO with a combination of either Return or Tickle and Giga Impact. Similarly, against Custap Berry Snorlax, Ambipom needs both Tickle and Endure to win reliably. In this matchup, after using Fake Out, Ambipom should always use Tickle to survive a potential Giga Impact. After this, using Tickle on the third turn and Giga Impact on the fourth wins. If Snorlax uses Belly Drum, Ambipom should use Endure on the following turn in order to make Snorlax use its Custap Berry. After this, using Tickle on the fourth turn and Giga Impact on the fifth wins.

ok so beating snorlax requires 2 moveslots and you're not even winning every time: that is not the best. I would rather have this as other options if it were to be included

Other Options
=============
To be more consistent against defensive Snorlax while also maximizing its Attack, Ambipom can use a EV spread of 40 HP / 228 Atk / 240 Spe to seek to win with a combination of Tickle and Taunt. The 40 HP EVs allow Ambipom to survive Seismic Toss three times, while the 240 Speed EVs allow Ambipom to outspeed Serperior. The remaining EVs are put in Attack to have better rolls against any Snorlax with maximum HP and Defense investment. However, it should be noted that this EV spread loses to Raikou. To beat Raikou, while also surviving Snorlax's Seismic Toss three times, Ambipom can run a spread of 40 HP / 216 Atk / 252 Spe. However, both these spreads, make rolls against Adamant Choice Band Arcanine, Choice Band Donphan, and Reflect Keldeo significantly less reliable due to not running maximum Attack.

Return lets Ambipom beat many common stall Pokemon, such as Toxic Thundurus nope it loses regardless of move choice to Protect -> Toxic -> Fly / Substitute, Substitute + Protect Zapdos, and some Substitute + Protect Suicune the max def one owns ambipom. Taunt helps secure the matchup against Serperior and Shaymin if anything, return helps more but this is a 50/50 between taunt on leech seed and attacking to 2HKO when they attack. Choice Specs Shaymin also just wins., while Fire Punch gives Ambipom a better matchup against Ferrothorn and some Genesect sets. Endure gives Ambipom a better matchup against Custap Berry and Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, while also dissuading Choice Band Snorlax from using Giga Impact.

One of Ambipom's odd matchups comes against Snorlax. Against Choice Band Snorlax, a combination of Tickle and Endure let Ambipom win against both Return and Giga Impact, respectively. If Snorlax uses Belly Drum, Ambipom should use Endure on the following turn in order to make Snorlax use its Custap Berry. After this, using Tickle on the fourth turn and Giga Impact on the fifth wins giga (usually) does more than 50 before tickle, there's no reason to not just attack when their custap berry is gone unless you want to get blasted by +5 return. more generally, I really don't think this discussion is necessary to include since it is not reliable snorlax counterplay and requires half of your moveset.
