Choice Scarf Iron Boulder cleaves through speedy threats like opposing Choice Scarf users such as Meowscarada, Enamorus, and Roaring Moon, as well as generally fast Pokemon like Ogerpon-W, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Aerodactyl. Close Combat smashes Steel-types aiming to take on Mighty Cleave, such as Heatran and Hisuian Goodra, and is Iron Boulder's main way to revenge-kill the aforementioned Dark-types. Earthquake threatens Alolan Muk, which can swap in against Iron Boulder due to its immunity to Zen Headbutt, and OHKOes Electric-types like Alolan Raichu and Regieleki. Megahorn deals with Ogerpon-W, which greatly threatens Psychic's most common physical wall, Slowbro, while Zen Headbutt lets it clean Fighting teams late-game. Alternatively, Iron Boulder can choose to run Throat Chop to deal with Ghost-types or Iron Head to finish off Mega Altaria and OHKO Alolan Ninetales and Mega Diancie. Strong wallbreakers like Mega Gallade, Nasty Plot Deoxys-S, Choice Specs Tapu Lele, and Choice Band Victini support Iron Boulder by either greatly weakening or outright removing defensive walls like Celesteela, Archaludon, and Porygon2 which helps it clean Flying-, Dragon-, and Normal-type teams late-game. Entry hazards from Jirachi and Celebi are helpful to offset Iron Boulder's mediocre damage. Jirachi can pivot Iron Boulder in with U-turn, while Celebi can swap into Ground- and Water-types like Mega Swampert and Ogerpon-W. Mega Latias swaps into predicted Ground- and Grass-type moves and appreciates Iron Boulder weakening or removing Alolan Muk to attempt to setup a sweep with Calm Mind.

Close Combat smashes Steel-types aiming to take on Mighty Cleave like Heatran and Hisuian Goodra and is Iron Boulder's main way to revenge-kill the aforementioned Dark-types. Earthquake threatens deals with[I would put threatens as deals puts me in the mindset of we just flat out taking them out which is not the case.] Gholdengo and Alolan Muk, which can swap in against Iron Boulder due to their immunity to Close Combat and Zen Headbutt, respectively. Megahorn deals with Ogerpon-W which greatly threatens Psychic's most common physical wall in Slowbro, while Zen Headbutt lets it clean Fighting teams late-game. Alternatively, Iron Boulder can choose to run Throat Chop to deal with Ghost-types better or Iron Head to finish off Mega Altaria and OHKO Alolan Ninetales and Mega Diancie.[Would these not be sash in the main set with Megahorn and Zen Headbutt?] Strong wallbreakers like Mega Gallade, Nasty Plot Deoxys-S, Choice Specs Tapu Lele, and Choice Band Victini support Iron Boulder by greatly weakening or outright removing defensive walls like Celesteela, Archaludon, and Porygon2 which helps it clean types like Flying, Dragon, and Normal late-game. Entry hazards from setters like Jirachi, Celebi, and Deoxys-D are helpful to offset Iron Boulder's mediocre damage. Jirachi and Deoxys-D can pivot Iron Boulder in with U-turn and Teleport, while Celebi swaps into Ground- and Water-types like Mega Swampert and Ogerpon-W.[I would just cut this down to just Jirachi and Celebi. I think even then Deoxys-D is just outclass by better setters/pivoting users. It is rank very low on the VR as well.] Mega Latias swaps into predicted Ground- and Grass-type moves and appreciates Iron Boulder weakening or removing Alolan Muk and Gholdengo to attempt to setup a sweep with Calm Mind.

-> I think Gholdengo is a flimsy example of a mon eq threatens bc its commonly physdef. Would probably mention electrics or smth like that instead.

everything else looks good to go

(Might as well put the word types at the end since we’re referring to certain types that the Pokemon you mentioned can handle.)
