OU Blissey (2/2) (2/2)

Banned deucer.
[OVERVIEW]
High base HP, great Special Defense, and a neutrality to a majority of the tier's coverage moves make Blissey a reliable wall in OU, as it is able to consistently check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. Thanks to Teleport's great utility, Blissey can safely bring in a teammate and get momentum against your opponents. In addition, Teleport in tandem with its ability to check many special attackers let Blissey perform as an effective pivot. Natural Cure and Heavy-Duty Boots synergize well with Teleport and make Blissey hard to wear down, as it doesn't have to fear status. However, Blissey is a very passive Pokemon and is vulnerable to Taunt. Blissey is also threatened by the prevalence of strong Knock Off users such as Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Clefable due to its poor physical bulk and reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots to prevent it from being worn down by entry hazards.

name: Defensive
move 1: Seismic Toss
move 2: Soft-Boiled
move 3: Thunder Wave / Toxic
move 4: Teleport
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Seismic Toss lets Blissey deal consistent damage to most foes. Soft-Boiled keeps Blissey healthy throughout the game and allows it to check special attackers. Thunder Wave is preferred, as it punishes Pokemon such as Heatran, Clefable, and Kartana. However, Toxic can be used to cripple setup sweepers such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Volcarona; it also deters physical attackers such as Hawlucha and Urshifu-R from directly switching into Blissey. Teleport lets Blissey pivot against special attackers to facilitate momentum for offensive teammates.

Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous special attackers such as Nidoking and Choice Specs Kyurem and generates momentum against them. Offensive wallbreakers like Choice Specs Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Lele appreciate being safely brought in via Blissey's Teleport, as they normally have trouble switching in due to their poor defensive typing and stats. Due to its access to Teleport, Blissey is able to form a pivoting core with partners such as Landorus-T and Corviknight. Corviknight in particular has great synergy with Blissey, as it is able to check physical wallbreakers such as Rillaboom and Landorus-T, while Blissey is able to check special attackers like Tapu Koko and Volcarona for it. Blissey is easily pressured by physical attackers such as Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T; therefore, physically defensive walls such as the aforementioned Corviknight, Zapdos, and Toxapex are good partners. In return, Blissey checks special wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Nidoking for them. Blissey is also great on more passive teams because of its ability to check the majority of special attackers. Unlike other common specially defensive walls seen on bulky offense teams like Slowking, Ferrothorn, and Heatran, Blissey is an amazing long-term check to key offensive threats like Tapu Koko and Dragapult.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====

Stealth Rock is an option to outlast Defoggers like Tornadus-T and Zapdos, but it should only be used when its team is lacking a Stealth Rock setter. Heal Bell and Aromatherapy are useful on more defensive teams that benefit from a cleric and don't need status support, but it comes at the cost of not being able to inflict status on foes. Wish is an option on defensive teams to support teammates that lack reliable recovery such as Heatran, Landorus-T, and Melmetal, but it prevents Blissey from using Teleport, as these two moves are incompatible.

Checks and Counters
====
**Physical Wallbreakers**: Landorus-T, Kartana, Rillaboom, and Garchomp overpower Blissey with their strong STAB moves; notably, Rillaboom and Kartana can proceed to OHKO it. Landorus-T, Kartana, and Rillaboom also boast access to Knock Off, which they can easily use against Blissey and potential switch-ins due to Blissey's vulnerability to physical wallbreakers. However, all of them have to fear status moves such as Toxic and Thunder Wave.

**Fighting-type Pokemon and Coverage**: Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos are able to threaten a KO on Blissey with their strong STAB options. However, all of them have to be wary of directly switching into Blissey, as it can dish out status effects. Pokemon that Blissey usually walls, such as Nidoking and Hydreigon, can lure it in and pressure it with Focus Punch and Superpower, respectively.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Heatran can disrupt Blissey's ability to heal itself with Soft-Boiled. Calm Mind Tapu Fini with Taunt and Draining Kiss also turns Blissey into setup fodder, as Taunt can shut down Blissey's utility entirely.

**Knock Off and Trick**: Blissey dislikes Knock Off, as Heavy-Duty Boots are key to keeping it healthy, and losing it makes Blissey less effective at checking threats throughout the game. Ferrothorn especially is troublesome for Blissey, as it can remove Blissey's item and proceed to set up entry hazards and Leech Seed. Choice Scarf Tapu Fini, Choice Specs Latios, and the rare Choice Scarf Clefable can cripple Blissey with Trick.

Hello, I am fat and wall your special attacker :ss/blissey:

[OVERVIEW]

- High base HP and great special defense with being weak to only Fighting-types in the tier make Blissey one of the best walls in the OU metagame, as it is able to check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Tapu Lele, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. It cannot really check Tapu Lele since it gets 2HKO'd by Psyshock.

- Natural Cure in conjunction with its item Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blissey a hard to wear down Pokemon, as it doesn't have to fear status.

- Soft-Boiled is a great recovery option making Blissey hard to deal with and Soft-Boiled is its option to maintain itself healthy throughout the game.

- With great utility in Teleport Blissey brings in a teammate safely, therefore enabling it to deal with the opposing Pokemon. You can mention how it can pivot on its checks and keep up momentum.

- However, Blissey is prone to Taunt as it can't use its utility- and healing-options anymore, Blissey then is left with only Seismic Toss to use.

- Due to the prevelancy of strong Knock Off users such as Landorus-T, Rillaboom, Kartana, and Scizor Blissey is threatened to lose its Heavy-Duty Boots leaving it prone to entry hazards. Both Rillaboom and Kartana can threaten an OHKO on Blissey with stronger moves and dont often use Knock Off against it, a better example could be Ferrothorn or Utility Clefable. Ferrothorn can also set up hazards to make use of it knocking off Blissey's Boots.

name: Defensive

move 2: Soft-Boiled
move 3: Toxic / Thunder Wave
move 4: Teleport
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

- Seismic Toss is its main only way of dealing consistent damage to opposing Pokemon and as it always deals a fixed amount of damage and is therefore great to wear down Pokemon in the long term. You can give examples of what pokemon it can wear down.

- Soft-Boiled is its recovery option and maintains Blissey healthy over the course of the game.

- Toxic helps against physical setup sweepers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which try to use Blissey as setup fodder and racks up damage on them. You can also mention how it can deter any possible switch ins.

- Thunder Wave spreads out paralysis for Blisseys teampartners and punishes setup sweepers like boosted Volcarona, Dragonite, and Calm Mind Clefable. You can also mention Heatran since it can switch into Blissey to threaten it out.

- Teleport is an exceptionally great move, as it provides slow momentum-grabbing with bringing in teampartners safely on the field. You can mention how it can help bring in slower and more frail teammates.

Teampartners:

- Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous Pokemon such as Nidoking, Kyurem, and Tapu Lele due to the consistency granted by its item Heavy-Duty Boots and its recovery in Soft-Boiled and its monstros special bulk. Yea again remove the Tapu Lele mention since it's not true and you should probably mention that it is only able to check Choice Specs Kyurem.

- Due to the access to Teleport is Blissey able to forme a VoltTurn core (A pivot spam core would probably be a more accurate term here.) with teampartners such as Landorus-T, Dragapult, Corviknight, and Zeraora. Moreover Teleport allows it to bring a defensive teampartner such as Landorus-T and Corviknight safely.

- Blissey dislikes Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T, therefore defensive Flying-types such as Corviknight, Zapdos, and Skarmory can check them for Blissey. The former two defog entry hazards away, whereas the latter is able to setup Stealth Rocks. In return Blissey checks wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Nidoking for them.

- Dragapult and Blissey are great partners, as Blissey checks Hydreigon and Kyurem for Dragapult and is able to bring it in safely via Teleport, so Dragapult can pressure Hydreigon and Kyurem with its STAB Draco Meteor. Dragapult can also check Fightingy-types like Galarian Zapdos with switching into their Fighting-type STAB moves. Urshifu-R would be a better mention here since it's a more used Fighting-type and something that Dragapult also help with. You could also mention how Blissey can spread status that can help power up its Hex.

- Nidoking is a great partner for Blissey, as Nidoking is able to help against threats such as Zeraora due to its great typing and great STAB combination. Nidoking doesn't like Tapu Lele being around, so Blissey can make up for it with checking Tapu Lele. Nidoking cannot really help with Zeraora since it doesnt like its Life Orb knocked off, also you should probably remove the Tapu Lele mention. You could mention how Nidoking appreciates the free switch in that Blissey offers due to its relative frailty, and its ability to pressure Heatran.

- Blissey and Zeraora make up for great partners, as Blissey can help with Teleport to get in Zeraora safely on common Pokemon such as Tornadus-T, Dragapult, and Corviknight. Furthermore, Zeraora is able to remove items and it can remove Leftovers from switch-ins such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, whereas Blissey can cripple them upon the switch with Seismic Toss or Toxic for Zeraora.

- Ferrothorn and Blissey work well together, as Ferrothorn provides entry hazard support and checks Rillaboom and Melmetal for Blissey and Blissey in return can check Pokemon such as Kyurem, Nidoking, and Heatran for it. Blissey cannot check Heatran very well so you should probably remove that mention, you could instead mention Volcarona.

- Although not as common, Blissey is weak to Fighting-types such as Hawlucha and Galarian Zapdos, and Urshifu-R so teampartners such as Landorus-T, Clefable, and Zapdos checks them. In return Blissey can check Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko for them, as they are able to threaten them with their strong STAB moves or coverage in Ice Beam, Sludge Wave, and Thunderbolt respectively. Kekw funny how all these can apply just to Nidoking.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====

Stealth Rock is another option on Blissey, but should only be used when the team is lacking a Stealth Rock setter and comes at the cost of Teleports utility.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fighting-types**: Hawlucha, Urshifu-R and Galarian Zapdos are threatening to Blissey and they are able to threaten a KO on it with their strong STAB options. Hawlucha can set up on Blissey. But all of them have to be wary about switching into Blissey directly, as it can dish out a Toxic.

**Wallbreakers**: Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill as well as Weavile overpower Blissey with their strong STABs. However, all of them have to fear chip damage due to Seismic Toss, which makes them less effective in the later part of the game, due to the loss of HP. Probably mention that they're physical Wallbreakers.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Nidoking can disrupt Blisseys ability in healing itself with Soft-Boiled, leaving it vulnerable without the ability to regain health making the process of switching on the field way more difficult, as Blissey finds itself with less HP.

**Knock Off**: Blissey dislikes Knock Off, as Heavy-Duty Boots are key to keep it healthy and the loss of them makes Blissey less effective in checking threats throughout the game.

Both Rillaboom and Kartana can threaten an OHKO on it with their strong STAB moves or coverage. This belongs in the Checks and Counters section as it talks about specific examples. The previous person was saying not to mention Rillaboom or Kartana here.

move 2: Soft-Boiled
move 3: Toxic / Thunder Wave
move 4: Teleport

ability: Natural Cure

[SET COMMENTS]

- Seismic Toss is its only way of dealing consistent damage to opposing Pokemon, as it always deals fix damage and is therefore great to wear down Pokemon in the long term and deals damage on Heatran any non-Ghost type Pokemon trying to switch into it. and moreover deals damage on It is especially useful against Pokemon with lack of reliable recovery such as Weavile and Urshifu-R. It sounds like only the Pokemon you listed take damage from it, which is far from the truth.

- Soft-Boiled is its recovery option and maintains Blissey healthy over the course of the game.

- Toxic helps against physical setup sweepers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which try to use Blissey as setup fodder and racks up damage on them. It can also deter switch-ins such as Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos of coming directly into Blissey because of the fear of Toxic.

- Thunder Wave spreads out paralysis for Blisseys teampartners and punishes setup sweepers like boosted Volcarona, Dragonite, and Calm Mind Clefable. It can also spread paralysis on Heatran, which can otherwise freely switch into Blissey and force it out with the combination of Magma Storm and Taunt, upon the switch-in. As it may not be obvious to a new player why crippling Heatran specifically is useful, adding this is better.

- Teleport is an exceptionally great move, as it provides slow momentum-grabbing with bringing in teampartners safely on the field and is a great way of bringing frail teampartners on the field.

Teampartners:

- Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous Pokemon such as Nidoking, and Choice Specs Kyurem, due to the consistency granted by its item Heavy-Duty Boots and its recovery in Soft-Boiled and its monstros special bulk.

- Due to the access to Teleport is Blissey able to forme a VoltTurn core with teampartners such as Landorus-T, Dragapult, Corviknight, and Zeraora.

Dragapult can also check Fighting-types like Urshifu-R with switching into their Fighting-type STAB moves. Blissey can spread status on it, to help powering up Dragapults STAB move Hex.

- Blissey is a great partner for Nidoking, as Nidoking appreciates the free switch which Blissey offers for it due to its frailty and it can pressure common Pokemon such as Heatran.

Does removing these items help Blissey? If they don't it isn't relevant to this analysis. Blissey cripples them on the switch into it or does it switch into them for it? I don't think Zeraora is the Pokemon you want to send in if your opponent switches a Ground-type into Blissey.

- Ferrothorn and Blissey work well together, as Ferrothorn provides entry hazard support and checks Rillaboom and Melmetal for Blissey and Blissey in return can check Pokemon such as Kyurem, Nidoking, and Volcarona for it.

- Although not as common, Blissey is weak to Fighting-types such as Hawlucha and Galarian Zapdos, and Urshifu-R, so teampartners such as Landorus-T, Clefable, and Zapdos checks them. In return Blissey can check Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko for them.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====

  • Stealth Rock is another option on Blissey, but should only be used when the team is lacking a Stealth Rock setter and comes at the cost of Teleports utility.
  • Heal Bell should probably get a mention for stall teams which don't need the momentum of Teleport.

Checks and Counters
====
**Physical Wallbreakers**: Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill as well as Weavile overpower Blissey with their strong STABs. However, all of them have to fear chip damage due to Seismic Toss, which makes them less effective in the later part of the game, due to the loss of HP. As none of the Fighting-types you mention are very viable whereas Landorus and Garchomp are two of the best Pokemon in the tier, I would move this up to the top.

**Fighting-types and Fighting-type coverage**: Hawlucha, Urshifu-R and Galarian Zapdos are threatening to Blissey and they are able to threaten a KO on it with their strong STAB options. Hawlucha can set up on Blissey. But all of them have to be wary about switching into Blissey directly, as it can dish out a Toxic. Pokemon that Blissey normally walls, such as Nidoking and Hydreigon, can occasionally run Superpower and in Nidoking's case, Focus Punch, to lure it in.

**Heatran**:
Traps Blissey and wears it down with Magma Storm, and blocks Soft-Boiled and Teleport with Taunt. However, it dislikes being paralysed.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Nidoking I would add something else that more commonly runs Taunt, as it's only going to be in Other Options on Nidoking can disrupt Blisseys ability in healing itself with Soft-Boiled, leaving it vulnerable without the ability to regain health making the process of switching on the field way more difficult, as Blissey finds itself with less HP. Calm Mind Tapu Fini probably deserves mention in this section as it turns Blissey into setup fodder.

**Knock Off and Trick**: Blissey dislikes Knock Off, as Heavy-Duty Boots are key to keep it healthy and the loss of them makes Blissey effective in checking threats throughout the game. Choice Scarf Tapu Fini, Choice Specs Latios, and the rare Choice Scarf Clefable cripple Blissey if they Trick it their items. However, these sets / Pokemon aren't that common, so I'd ask the QC team about this. EDIT: Yes, the QC team wants to add this.

Hello, I am fat and wall your special attacker :ss/blissey:

[OVERVIEW]
High base HP and great special defense with being weak to only Fighting-types in the tier make Blissey a reliable wall one of the best walls in the OU metagame, as it is able to consistently check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. Natural Cure in conjunction with its item Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blissey a hard to wear down Pokemon, as it doesn't have to fear status. Soft-Boiled is a great recovery option making Blissey hard to deal with. I think putting its access to recovery in the HDB sentence would better emphasize its role as a special wall able to reliably check the aforementioned Pokemon and pivot. With great utility in Teleport Blissey brings in a teammate safely and you can get your wallbreakers in for free and get the momentum up on your opponents; it also provides easy pivoting. I feel like this point would be best to emphasize in the second sentence, using HDB, its access to reliable recovery and Natural Cure as accents to reinforce its role as a specially defensive pivot. However, Blissey is prone to Taunt as it can't use its utility- and healing-options, Blissey then is left with only Seismic Toss to use. Just saying that Blissey is a passive Pokemon that's prone to Taunt gets the point across a bit better and more concisely I think. Due to the prevalence of strong Knock Off users such as Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Clefable is Blissey threatened to lose its Heavy-Duty Boots leaving it prone to entry hazards.

[SET COMMENTS]
Seismic Toss is its only way of dealing consistent damage to opposing Pokemon, as it always deals fixed damage and is therefore great to wear down non-Ghost-type Pokemon in the long term and deals damage on any non-Ghost-type Pokemon trying to switch into it. It is especially useful against Pokemon with lack of reliable recovery. Soft-Boiled is its recovery option and maintains Blissey healthy over the course of the game. What's the importance of this longevity in execution? Toxic is Blissey's main option to punish helps against physical setup sweepers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which try to use Blissey as setup fodder and racks up damage on them. It can also deter switch-ins such as Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos from of switching directly into Blissey and exploiting its passivity. because of the fear of Toxic. I enjoy this mention but I added this extra bit at the end to better emphasize a huge attribute of Toxic. Thunder Wave spreads out paralysis for Blisseys teampartners and punishes setup sweepers like boosted Volcarona, Dragonite, and Calm Mind Clefable. It's another option for punishing gutsy switch-ins, but I don't really like the Dragonite mention since Blissey can be very easily overwhelmed by it if Dnite's already set up. It can also spread paralysis on Heatran, which can otherwise freely switch into Blissey and force progress with the combination of Magma Storm and Taunt, upon the switch-in. Teleport is an exceptionally great move, as it provides slow momentum-grabbing with bringing in teampartners safely on the field and is a great way of bringing frail teampartners on the field. What does Blissey find good pivoting opportunities against?

Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous Pokemon such as Nidoking, and Choice Specs Kyurem, due to the consistency granted by its item Heavy-Duty Boots and its recovery in Soft-Boiled and its monstros special bulk. Its ability to provide pivoting support is a huge reason it fits on these teams so well. Due to its access to Teleport is Blissey is able to forme a pivot core with teampartners such as Landorus-T, Dragapult, Corviknight, and Zeraora. Not super keen on Zeraora personally Moreover Teleport allows it to bring a defensive teampartner such as Landorus-T and Corviknight safely. Do these Pokemon have any particular synergy with Blissey? Corviknight stands out to me because of its ability to check a majority of the tier's physical wallbreakers and even gain momentum on them. Blissey dislikes Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T, making defensive Flying-types such as Corviknight, Zapdos, and Skarmory can check them for Blissey. The former two defog entry hazards away, whereas the latter is able to setup hazards like Spikes or Stealth Rock against the aforementioned threats. In return Blissey checks wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Nidoking for them. Dragapult and Blissey are great partners, as Blissey checks Hydreigon and Kyurem for Dragapult and is able to bring it in safely via Teleport, so Dragapult can pressure Hydreigon and Kyurem with its STAB Draco Meteor. Dragapult can also check Fighting-types like Urshifu-R with switching into their Fighting-type STAB moves. Blissey can spread status on it, to help powering up Dragapults STAB move Hex. Blissey is a great partner for Nidoking, as Nidoking appreciates the free switch which Blissey offers for it due to its frailty and it can pressure common Pokemon such as Heatran. Blissey and Zeraora make up for great partners, as Blissey can help with Teleport to get in Zeraora safely on common Pokemon such as Tornadus-T, Dragapult, and Corviknight. The main issue with this is that these three Pokemon are likely not going to stay in on Blissey very often. You'll often see switches into physical wallbreakers like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Urshifu, or GZap, which Zeraora in my opinion doesn't really check super reliably (barring GZap/Urshifu I suppose). Zeraora also pivots on things that Blissey isn't really super keen on being in on, like Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn and Blissey work well together, as Ferrothorn provides entry hazard support and checks Rillaboom and Melmetal for Blissey and Blissey in return can check Pokemon such as Kyurem, Nidoking, and Volcarona for it. Although not as common, Blissey is weak to Fighting-types such as Hawlucha and Galarian Zapdos, and Urshifu-R, so teampartners such as Landorus-T, Clefable, and Zapdos checks them. In return Blissey can check Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko for them.

I think reorganizing this paragraph in general would be good. Mentioning more offensive team partners first is solid, then going into defensive ones, so that way the organization is more sound and you aren't going from offensive partner to defensive partner to offensive partner.

Other Options
====

Stealth Rock is another option on Blissey, but should only be used when the team is lacking a Stealth Rock setter and comes at the cost of Teleports utility. I'd probably also mention that it can outlast Zapdos/Torn-T as a Stealth Rock setter which can be decently effective. Heal Bell is useful on stall teams, which don't need the momentum given via Teleport.

Checks and Counters
====
I'd more look at their fear of Thunder Wave/Toxic, unless their name is Excadrill. Rillaboom and Kartana can threaten Blissey with a strong STAB move and can proceed to OHKO it as well.

**Fighting-types- and Fighting-type coverage**: Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos are threatening to Blissey and they are able to threaten a KO on it with their strong STAB options. Hawlucha can set up on Blissey. But all of them have to be wary about switching into Blissey directly, as it can dish out a Toxic. Also Pokemon, which Blissey usually walls such as Nidoking and Hydreigon can run Focus Punch and Superpower respectively to lure in Blissey.

**Heatran**: Heatran traps Blissey and wears it down with Magma Storm, and blocks Soft-Boiled and Teleport with Taunt as well. However, it dislikes being paralysed.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Heatran can disrupt Blisseys ability in healing itself with Soft-Boiled, leaving it vulnerable without the ability to regain health making the process of switching on the field way more difficult, as Blissey finds itself with less HP. Calm Mind Tapu Fini can turn Blissey into setup fodder, as Misty Terrain prevents it getting statused from Blissey.

**Knock Off and Trick**: Blissey dislikes Knock Off, as Heavy-Duty Boots are key to keep it healthy and the loss of them makes Blissey effective in checking threats throughout the game. Ferrothorn especially is troublesome for Blissey, as it removes its item and proceed to set up entry hazards.
Choice Scarf Tapu Fini, Choice Specs Latios, and the rare Choice Scarf Clefable cripple Blissey if they Trick it their items.

Hello, I am fat and wall your special attacker :ss/blissey:

[OVERVIEW]
High base HP and great special defense with being weak to only Fighting-type moves in the tier make Blissey a reliable wall in the OU metagame, as it is able to consistently check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. I think instead of "being weak to only Fighting-type moves", a greater focus would be attained by saying a "lacking a weakness to a majority of the tier's coverage". With great utility in Teleport Blissey brings in a teammate safely and you can get your wallbreakers in for free and get the momentum up on your opponents; it also provides easy pivoting. Saying that "In addition, Teleport in tandem with its ability to check many Specially oriented Pokemon letting it perform as an effective pivot" gets the point easier. Natural Cure in conjunction with its item Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blissey a hard to wear down Pokemon, as it doesn't have to fear status. I think saying that these also synergize with Teleport is also important. However, Blissey is a very passive Pokemon, which is prone to Taunt. Due to the prevalence of strong Knock Off users such as Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Clefable is Blissey threatened to lose its Heavy-Duty Boots leaving it prone to entry hazards. Its physical bulk also leaves very much to be desired.

Teleport lets Blissey is an exceptionally great move that pivot against [examples] to facilitate momentum for offensive teammates. as it provides slow momentum-grabbing with bringing in teampartners safely on the field and is a great way of bringing frail teampartners on the field. Clarity and fluff cleaning

Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous Pokemon such as Nidoking and Choice Specs Kyurem, as well as being able to pivot against them. due to its ability to provide pivot support. It checks these Pokemon in general even without pivoting support, which this sentence otherwise suggests. Due to its access to Teleport Blissey is able to form a pivot core with teampartners such as Landorus-T, Dragapult, and Corviknight. Moreover Teleport allows it to bring a defensive teampartner such as Landorus-T and Corviknight safely, the latter in particular shares great synergy with Blissey and is able to check the majority of the tier's physical wallbreakers and is able to gain momentum. What does it check? Does Blissey cover anything in return? (Koko is the big one) Dragapult and Blissey are great partners, as Blissey defensively checks Hydreigon and Kyurem for Dragapult and is able to bring it in safely against [physical wallbreakers] via Teleport, so Dragapult can pressure Hydreigon and Kyurem with its STAB Draco Meteor. Remember that, typically, Kyurem/Hydreigon are not really going to stay in against Blissey, which is what Teleport is for. You can get Dragapult in against something like Urshifu-R or Garchomp, for the sake of example. I also feel like a better example here would be something like Tapu Koko, since Dragapult threatens Hydreigon/Kyurem anyway with its speed tier and Dragon-type STAB. Dragapult can also check Fighting-types like Urshifu-R with switching into their Fighting-type STAB moves. Not necessary Blissey can also spread status on its offensive switch-ins to help power up Dragapults STAB-boosted move Hex. Blissey is a great partner for Nidoking as well, as Nidoking appreciates the free switch which Blissey offers for it due to its frailty and it can pressure common Pokemon such as Heatran or Toxapex that can take advantage of it to force progress.
Blissey dislikes Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T, therefore defensive Flying-types such as Corviknight, Zapdos, and Skarmory can check them for Blissey. The former two defog entry hazards away, whereas the latter is able to setup entry hazards like Spikes or Stealth Rock against the aforementioned threats. In return Blissey checks wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Nidoking for them. Ferrothorn and Blissey work well together, as Ferrothorn provides entry hazard support and checks Rillaboom and Melmetal for Blissey and Blissey checks Pokemon such as Kyurem, Nidoking, and Volcarona for it. I'm not super comfortable with a Ferrothorn mention. Ferrothorn doesn't comfortably handle Rillaboom since it rocks Knock Off and Fighting-type coverage, and Melmetal tends to run Superpower which sends both of these mons into the shadow realm. Although not as common, Blissey is weak to Fighting-types such as Hawlucha and Galarian Zapdos, and Urshifu-R, and teampartners such as Landorus-T, Clefable, and Zapdos checks them. In return Blissey checks Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko for them. I feel like I'd like to see a couple extra offensive mentions. Offensive teammates, in general, I think would be good to have near the top of the team section, since Teleport and its fit on bulky offenses is prominent as to its use on the archetype.

Stealth Rock is another option on Blissey, which can be an effective option since it can outlast Defog users like Tornadus-T and Zapdos, but should only be used when its team is lacking a Stealth Rock setter. Heal Bell and Aromatherapy are useful on more defensive teams that benefit from a cleric, which don't need the momentum given via Teleport. Aromatherapy/Heal Bell is generally run over the status move, not Teleport, just be sure to explain the opportunity cost

Checks and Counters

**Physical Wallbreakers**: Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill as well as Weavile overpower Blissey with their strong STABs. Add Urshifu-R, Kartana, and Rillaboom. However, all of them have to fear status such as Toxic or Thunder Wave which makes them less effective in the later part of the game. Rillaboom and Kartana can threaten Blissey with a strong STAB move and can proceed to OHKO it as well. I would put this sentence after the 1st sentence, and repurpose it to talk about Knock Off. Word it like "Particularly, Landorus-T, Weavile, Kartana, and Rillaboom all boast access to Knock Off, which they can easily use against Blissey and potential switch-ins due to Blissey's vulnerability to physical wallbreakers."

**Fighting-types- and Fighting-type coverage**: Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos are threatening to Blissey and they are able to threaten a KO on it with their strong STAB options. Hawlucha can set up on Blissey. Not necessary But all of them have to be wary about switching into Blissey directly, as it can dish out status. Also Pokemon, which Blissey usually walls, (AC) such as Nidoking and Hydreigon, (AC) can also run Focus Punch and Superpower respectively to lure and severely pressure Blissey.

**Heatran**: Heatran traps Blissey and wears it down with Magma Storm, and blocks Soft-Boiled and Teleport with Taunt as well. However, it dislikes being paralysed. You talk about this in the Taunt point so it's not necessary

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Heatran can disrupt Blisseys ability in healing itself with Soft-Boiled, leaving it vulnerable without the ability to regain health making the process of switching on the field way more difficult, as Blissey finds itself with less HP. Calm Mind Tapu Fini utilizing Taunt and Draining Kiss can also turn Blissey into setup fodder, as Misty Terrain prevents it getting statused from Blissey. It's Taunted so it's not going to dish status anyway, even if Misty Terrain weren't in the equation. I also think it's important to mention Blissey's passivity here and how Taunt fully exploits that.

**Knock Off and Trick**: Blissey dislikes Knock Off, as Heavy-Duty Boots are key to keep it healthy and the loss of them makes Blissey less effective in checking threats throughout the game. Ferrothorn especially is troublesome for Blissey, as it removes its item and proceed to set up entry hazards and Leech Seed. Choice Scarf Tapu Fini, Choice Specs Latios, and the rare Choice Scarf Clefable can cripple Blissey if they Trick it their items. Clefable with Trick Choice Scarf is a little too niche I feel

Soft-Boiled is its recovery option and maintains Blissey healthy over the course of the game so Blissey can reliably pivot and spread status. Soft-Boiled lets it also reliably check Hydreigon, Kyurem, and Tapu Koko. You can easily compress this sentence into the previous one to keep things concise. Toxic is an alternative Blisseys main option to punish setup sweepers by putting them on a timer such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, which try to use Blissey as setup fodder. It can also deter switch-ins such as Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos from switching directly into Blissey and exploiting its passivity. Thunder Wave spreads out paralysis for Blisseys teampartners and punishes setup sweepers like boosted Volcarona and Calm Mind Clefable. Swap the order of mentions between Thunder Wave and Toxic, so it's Thunder Wave -> Toxic. I'd also like to see a mention of Kartana which gets obliterated by it. It can also spread paralysis on Heatran, which can otherwise freely switch into Blissey and force progress with the combination of Magma Storm and Taunt upon the switch-in. You can just have a solo mention of Heatran and list it alongside Kartana. In general you could word it like "Thunder Wave spreads debilitating paralysis against Clefable, Heatran, and Kartana which can take advantage of it otherwise." I think for the most part you can safe the focus on punishing most setup sweepers for Toxic since Toxic directly contests with their sweeping abilities. Teleport lets Blissey pivot against Hydreigon, Nidoking, and Kyurem to facilitate momentum for offensive teammates.

Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous Pokemon such as Nidoking and Choice Specs Kyurem, as well as being able to pivot against them. Due to its access to Teleport Blissey is able to form a pivot core with teampartners such as Landorus-T, the aforementioned Dragapult, and Corviknight. Rillaboom and Kartana like Blisseys ability to check dangerous Pokemon such as Volcarona and Tornadus-T, as Blissey can switch into them and pressure them with inflicting status, in return Rillaboom and Kartana are able to pressure Ground-types such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill for it. Dragapult and Blissey are great partners, as Blissey defensively checks Tapu Koko and Clefable for Dragapult and is able to bring it in safely against Garchomp and Urshifu-R via Teleport. Blissey can also spread status on its offensive switch-ins, to power up Dragapults STAB-boosted Hex. Blissey is a great partner for Nidoking, as Nidoking appreciates the free switch which Blissey offers for it due to its frailty and it can pressure common Pokemon such as Heatran or Toxapex to take advantage of it to force progress. These sentences should be moved to be right after the first sentence. Blissey dislikes Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T, therefore defensive Flying-types such as the aforementioned Corviknight, Zapdos, and Skarmory can check them for Blissey. The former two defog entry hazards away, whereas the latter is able to setup entry hazards like Spikes or Stealth Rock against the aforementioned threats. [OVERVIEW]
High base HP, great Special Defense,(AC) and a neutrality to a majority of the tier's coverage make Blissey a reliable wall in OU, as it is able to consistently check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. Thanks to Teleport's great utility, Blissey can safely bring in a teammate and get momentum against your opponents. In addition, Teleport in tandem with its ability to check many special attackers let Blissey perform as an effective pivot. Natural Cure and Heavy-Duty Boots synergize well with Teleport and make Blissey hard to wear down, as it doesn't have to fear status,(RC) and they synergize well with Teleport. However, Blissey is a very passive Pokemon and is prone vulnerable to Taunt. Blissey is threatened by the prevalence of strong Knock Off users such as Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, and Clefable due to its poor physical bulk and reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots to prevent being worn down by entry hazards. Blissey also can be chipped down by threats it otherwise checks such as Tapu Koko and Dragapult with Volt Switch and U-turn.

[SET COMMENTS]
Seismic Toss lets Blissey's Blissey deal consistent damage to most opposing Pokemon foes. Soft-Boiled keeps Blissey healthy throughout the game and allows it to check special attackers. Thunder Wave is preferred,(AC) as it punishes Pokemon such as Heatran, Clefable, and Kartana.

Blissey fits well on teams such as bulky offense and balance, as it checks dangerous special attackers such as Nidoking and Choice Specs Kyurem,(RC) as well as being able to and generate momentum against them. Offensive wallbreakers like Choice Specs Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Lele appreciate being switched in safely safely brought in via Blissey's Teleport, as they normally have trouble switching in normally due to their poor defensive typing and stats. Due to its access to Teleport, Blissey is able to form a pivoting core with partners such as Landorus-T and Corviknight. Corviknight, in particular, has great synergy with Blissey, as it is able to check physical wallbreakers such as Rillaboom and opposing Landorus-T, while Blissey is able to check special attackers like Tapu Koko and Volcarona for it. Blissey is also great on more passive,(RC) defensive(passive defensive is redundant imo) teams as well because of its ability to check the majority of special attackers. Unlike other common specially defensive walls seen on bulky offense teams like Slowking, Ferrothorn, or and Heatran, Blissey is an amazing long-term check to key offensive threats like Tapu Koko and Dragapult. (This sentence contradicts the last sentence of overview.)

High base HP,(AC) and great Special Defense(capitalize),(AC) with a lacking weakness to and a neutrality to(I assume this is what you mean?) a majority of the tier's coverage make Blissey a reliable wall in the OU metagame, as it is able to consistently check dangerous special attackers such as Dragapult, Kyurem, Nidoking, and Tapu Koko. With great utility in Teleport Blissey brings in a teammate safely and you can get your wallbreakers in for free and get the momentum up on your opponents. Thanks to Teleport's great utility, Blissey can safely bring in a wallbreaker(teammate also works) and get momentum against your opponents. In addition, Teleport in tandem with its ability to check many Specially oriented Pokemon letting it special attackers let Blissey perform as an effective pivot. Natural Cure in conjunction with its item and Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blissey a hard to wear down Pokemon, as it doesn't have to fear status,(AC) and synergyzes they synergize well in tandem with Teleport. [SET COMMENTS]
Seismic Toss is its Blissey's only way of dealing consistent damage to opposing Pokemon, as it always deals fixed damage and is therefore great to wear down any non-Ghost-type Pokemon. Soft-Boiled is its recovery option and maintains Blissey healthy over the course of the game so Blissey can reliably pivot, and Soft-Boiled lets it also reliably check Hydreigon, Kyurem, and Tapu Koko. Soft-Boiled keeps Blissey healthy throughout the game and lets it reliably pivot while also allowing it to check Hydreigon, Kyurem, and Tapu Koko. Thunder Wave is preferred as it punishes switch-ins such as Heatran, Clefable, and Kartana.(comma to period) However(capitalize), Toxic can be used to cripple setup sweepers such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Volcarona; it also deters physically attacking switch-ins physical attackers such as Hawlucha, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos from directly switching directly into Blissey to exploit its passivity.

Dragapult and Blissey are great partners have great synergy, as Blissey defensively checks Tapu Koko and Clefable for Dragapult and is able to safely bring it in safely against Garchomp and Urshifu-R via Teleport. Blissey can also spread status on it offensive switch-ins,(RC) to power up Dragapult's(add apostrophe) STAB-boosted Hex. Blissey is also a great partner for Nidoking, as Nidoking appreciates the free switch which offered by Blissey offers for it due to its frailty and it can pressure common Pokemon such as Heatran or Toxapex to take advantage of it to force progress can take advantage of and force progress against common Pokemon such as Heatran and Toxapex. Rillaboom and Kartana like Blissey's(add apostrophe) ability to check dangerous Pokemon such as Volcarona and Tornadus-T, as Blissey it can switch into them and pressure them with inflicting status.(comma to period) In return(capitalize),(AC) Rillaboom and Kartana are able to pressure Ground-types such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill for it. Blissey dislikes Rillaboom, Kartana, and Landorus-T;(comma to semicolon) therefore,(AC) defensive Flying-types such as the aforementioned Corviknight, Zapdos, and Skarmory can check them for Blissey are appreciated. The former two defog can remove entry hazards away with Defog, whereas while the latter is able to setup set(or set up) entry hazards like Spikes or Stealth Rock against the aforementioned threats. In return,(AC) Blissey checks wallbreakers such as Kyurem and Nidoking for them. Although not as common, Blissey is weak to Fighting-types such as Hawlucha,(AC) and Galarian Zapdos, and Urshifu-R;(comma to semicolon) and teampartners teammates such as Landorus-T, Clefable, and Zapdos checks them.
