Oh my goodness, Basculegion is such a beast! I drew a ”modern day” design if it were to be resurfacing in modern day Pokémon world.

Refulgent Pokémon!

Basically light-themed counterpart of Shadow Pokémon introduced in Colosseum, they are Pokémon corrupted by light that locked their spirit, causing their stress and negative emotions to go overdrive and becoming berserk on combat. Even something as innocent as an Audino become a public danger, and even the kindest of trainers will have a hard time to use them!

They are immune to Shadow Moves, and their Refulgent Moves always deals super effective damage to Shadow Pokémon, but only neutral on regular Pokémon and not very effective on other Refulgent Pokémon. Refulgent Pokémon also take resisted damage on otherwise neutral match-ups (i.e. Fire on Psychic, Fighting on Steel / Fairy) but does not have weaknesses suppressed.​

I got an Apple Pencil for Christmas! First two artworks with the pencil (aside a random bun for practice) are slightly redesigned Ledellar (left) and Volbeast (right)! Flauroma redesign will be coming soon-ish!

Part of why I did the redesigns is to make those less human-like, and more insect-like. I did take inspiration of Mega Man Robot Masters design, giving them more armor-like appearance like how invertebrates in real life have their exoskeleton resembling armor.
