Oh my God, Swirlpool just collapsed into a puddle of water!! Is that an ability of Swirlpool's, or did his body completely deteriorate from Grimer's poison?! I don't know! Grimer doesn't seem to know either -- his "attacks" are totally ineffective!

Now the Swirlpool, in his liquid state, is able to splash bits of himeslf onto the Grimer, sending salty water seeping into his pores for massive damage! Grimer's body churns into a bubbling, putrid tempest of water and filth. Swirlpool looks upon his handiwork as a disembodied pair of red pupils floating atop a clear blue puddle. What hideous nightmare battle has my subconscious devised, and when will I wake up from this obvious dream?

Grimer tries to jab Swirlpool, only for his arm to completely crumble upon impact! It would appear that Grimer has taken on too much water to maintain his body composition any longer. Slowly, the greens and yellows of Grimer's grinning face drip onto the floor like an oil painting melting in the sun. His eyeballs, reduced to soggy egg whites, continue gazing straight ahead; his slack jaw collapses into a puddle of goo; and his naked tongue lolls gleefully through the air where his lower head used to be. Then, gradually, his whole body goes utterly limp.

Don't worry about me, guys -- I'm only going to be mentally scarred for life. You can go ahead and send in your next Pokemon.
