The offers ramp up so fast that it boggles your mind. You figured a legendary artifact would fetch a lot of money, but this is way beyond what you expected! Ultimately, the auction is won by some Hex Maniac who runs an occult-themed Etsy shop. She says she's going to grind the vase into powder and use it to make scented ritual candles or something. It doesn't seem to you like the best use of an ancient historical artifact, especially for the outrageous amount of money she's putting up, but she has cash so that's none of your business.
As you watch the funds transfer into your bank account, you wonder what might become of those captive Pokemon you released...
