alright lets get this rolling
taking Keriel's challenge, sending in to Doduodrio, and signing up for keriel's reffing as well
also putting up a new challenge
Match Format: TLG Mix Battle
Match Level: 1, 2, or 4 (challenger's choice)
Technique Control: 1 if Level 4, 0 otherwise
Arena: BBP Arena
All other rules are identical to the format in The Legend Gauntlet (best-of-3 b4p2 backpack 7, first KO = win). Additionally, the arena selection phase is replaced with a new "mix" phase:
Game 1:
- The ref flips a coin (or rolls a 1d2, you get the idea) to select who is "T1" and who is "T2"
- T1 declares a Pokemon and item sent in by T2. (Example: "I'm taking Arboliva and Shed Shell.")
- T2 declares a Pokemon and item sent in by T1.
- For the duration of the game, each player owns the Pokemon and item they declared.
- T2 is first sendout.
- Pokemon and items are returned to their original owners after the game concludes.
Games 2+:
- The loser of the previous match decides whether they want to be T1 or T2 (if T1, the next step is done in the same post)
- T1 declares a Pokemon and item sent in by T2.
- T2 declares a Pokemon and item sent in by T1.

I'd like to put up four matches to test the Gen 9 Substitution rules, now available for viewing here.
These rules won't be put into effect right away. Because of how important substitutions are to the game, we are going to run test battles in this rare, particular instance.
These matches will be b5p3 Singles matches with all normal match rules, in BBP Arena. The quirk is that they use the new sub rules. Work out with your opponent what Level you would like to play under; though it would be nice if players brought Pokemon with many moves to sub for.
And to sweeten the deal, I'd like to offer
5 bonus RC to anyone who plays in or refs one of these matches — only once per user, so please leave some spaces for other players.
