Pokemon: Electivire
Battle Bond Name: Volkner-Electivire
Base Stats: 75 / 153 / 117 / 95 / 85 / 125 (+30 Atk, +50 Def, +30 Spe)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Ice Punch
Move Stats: 90 BP | 20% chance to freeze
Activation: Being at 50% or less of its max hitpoints at the end of its turn
Battle Bond Origin: Volkner's Electivire trained its Ice Punch immensely as its main way of countering opposing Grass, Ground, and Dragon types that challenge Volkner's gym. As his strongest as closest Pokemon, Electivire never disappoints with its ability to defeat those Pokemon that could otherwise beat Electric-types, including Ash's Torterra.

Pokemon: Magmortar
Battle Bond Name: Lucas-Magmortar
Base Stats: 115 / 135 / 67 / 155 / 95 / 83 (+40 HP, +40 Atk, +30 SpA)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Fire Blast
Move Stats: Hits Rock-types super effectively | 90 Acc | 20% chance to burn
Activation: Knock out a foe
Battle Bond Origin: Lucas had a Magmortar that could stand up to Rock-types with impunity, with a powered up Fire Blast that could burn through their rocky armor.

Pokemon: Rhyperior
Battle Bond Name: Brendan-Rhyperior
Base Stats: 115 / 160 / 150 / 55 / 125 / 40 (+20 Atk, +20 Def, +70 SpD)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Hammer Arm
Move Stats: gains 30% chance to raise user's Atk by 1 stage | gains 30% chance to lower target's Def by 1 stage
Activation: Get hit by a "not very effective" move
Battle Bond Origin: Brendan's Rhyperior takes resisted attacks and becomes even tougher, with an amazing Hammer Arm that terrifies even bulky walls and pink blobs.

Pokemon: Magnezone
Battle Bond Name: Barret-Magnezone
Base Stats: 120 / 70 / 115 / 160 / 90 / 90 (+50 HP, +30 SpA, +30 Spe)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Magnet Bomb
Move Stats:
/ 90 BP / Hits Fire-types super effectively
Activation: Knock out a foe
Battle Bond Origin: Barret may have only been a Team Plasma grunt, but his Magnezone revealed him to be a much stronger Trainer than anyone could've predicted. Its Magnet Bomb hit Fire-types harder than other Steel-type moves, making Magnezone a tough opponent to face for those who think a type advantage is all that is needed for victory.

Pokemon Name: Electivire
Battle Bond Name: Electirized-Electivire
Stats: 75 / 145 (+22) / 67 / 145 (+50) / 85 / 133 (+38) (650)
Typing:

Buffed Move: Thunder Punch: 90 BP, 30% chance to destroy foe's held item.
Activation: Switching in while holding Electirizer during Electric Terrain.
Description: With the pure power of a massive electric current, the full potential of Electivire's Electirizer can finally be unlocked, allowing it to achieve a newfound strength. In this state, Electivire's feet becoming enveloped with electricity, and its tentacles wrap around its chest, forming an X shape that is also covered in electricity. It also becomes a really fast and strong mixed attacker, with a huge movepool to accompany it, go figure. At least its somewhat restricted by being forced to use an otherwise useless item.

Pokemon Name: Magmortar
Battle Bond Name: Magmarized-Magmortar
Stats: 105 (+30) / 95 / 67 / 185 (+60) / 95 / 103 (+20) (650)
Typing:

Buffed Move: Flame Burst:
90 BP, 30% chance to destroy foe's held item.
Activation: Switching in while holding Magmarizer during Sun.
Description: With solar energy, Magmortar's Magmarizer activates to full power, unlocking Magmotar's latent power. Its right arm triples in size, becoming an oversized flame bazooka similar to Clawitzer. The flames on Magmortar's shoulders also change into the shapes of small ammo containers, like those you would see on an automatic weapon. With one look at its stats, it's obvious what Magmortar is: A fairly fast, fairly bulky Fire nuke, firing off extremely strong Flame Bursts and Fire Blasts coming off of a Special Attack stat higher than that of Deoxys-Attack and Primal Kyogre. Similar to Electivire, be thankful this monster cannot hold items other than Magmarizer.

Pokemon Name: Rhyperior
Battle Bond Name: Protected-Rhyperior
Stats: 115 / 150 (+10) / 130 / 55 / 105 (+50) / 90 (+50) (645)
Typing:
/

Buffed Move: Drill Run: 90 BP, Hits Grass and Water types super-effectively.
Activation: Tank an attack while holding Protector.
Description: After sustaining damage, Rhyperior sheds some of its rock hide to don the Protector armor properly. The Protector is more resistant to projectile-based attacks, and is also lighter than Rhyperior's original skin, allowing for noticeably increased agility and movement. Rhyperior now has really good defenses, usable speed and still very high Attack. It can also use Drill Run to fatally damage the Grass and Water types that used to (and still give it) hell.

Pokemon: Rhyperior
Battle Bond Name: Palmer-Rhyperior
Base Stats: 135/140/150/55/125/40 (+20 HP, +20 Def, +70 SDef)
Typing: unchanged
Move Buffed: Rock Wrecker
Move Stats: Physical -- 150bp, 90% accuracy, 5/8pp [[No longer ever needs recharge]]
Activation: Be hit by any special attack
Battle Bond Origin: When Palmer's Rhyperior fully recovered from defeating Ash's Grotle, it found that it could fire off Rock Wreckers consecutively without needing to recover its strength.

Pokemon: Electivire
Battle Bond Name: Bourgain-Electivire
Base Stats: 75 / 123 / 97 / 145 / 105 / 95 (+30 Def, +50 SpA, +30 SpD)
Typing:

Move Buffed: Thunderbolt
Move Stats: Special | 100 BP | 100% Accuracy | 15 PP | 40% paralysis chance
Activation: KO one foe
Battle Bond Origin: Bourgain's Electivire was famous for its combination of Rain Dance and Thunderbolt/Thunder. With the added SpA boost and the defensive boosts, Bourgain-Electivire now has the Special Attack to pull off a decently powered Thunderbolt and not be restricted to Thunder Punch as an electric-type STAB due to its mediocre Special Attack stat

Pokemon: Rhyperior
Battle Bond Name: Hunter-Rhyperior
Base Stats: 115 / 200 / 130 / 55 / 105 / 40 (+60 Atk, +50 SpD)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Stone Edge
Move Stats: Physical | 100 BP | 100% Accuracy | 5 PP | High crit rate
Activation: Get hit by a "not very effective" move
Battle Bond Origin: Hunter sent out Rhyperior to deal with James and Meowth, proving it is extremely accurate at hunting down its targets

Base Stats: 75 / 153 / 117 / 95 / 85 / 125 (+30 Def, +50 SpA, +30 SpD)
Typing:

Move Buffed: Thunder
Move Stats: Special | 90 BP | 70% Accuracy | 15 PP | Cannot miss in rain, 50% paralysis chance
Activation: KO one foe
Battle Bond Origin: Bourgain's Electivire was famous for its combination of Rain Dance and Thunder. With the added SpA boost and the defensive boosts, Bourgain-Electivire becomes a decent mixed threat in rain.

Pokemon: Rhyperior

That move choice for Electivire seems really strange.

1. You claim it's a mixed attacker, but 95 SpA is really suboptimal.

2. Why nerf the BP? The paralysis chance is cool, but you still have bad accuracy, relegating serious use of the move to Rain teams.

It seems that he copied my Electivire and Rhyperior to use as templates but forgot to change the stats I gave them. There's nothing wrong with doing that of course, other than the stats just need to be changed. But I agree, there is no need to use Thunder when you could just buff Thunderbolt instead and give it the 50% paralysis chance.

Pokemon: Mienshao
Battle Bond Name: Delbert-Mienshao
Base Stats: 65 / 165 (+40) / 90 (+30) / 95 / 90 (+30) / 115 (+10)
Typing: Fighting
Move Buffed: U-turn
Move Stats: Fighting Type / 80 BP / 100% Accuracy / Attack then switch
Activation: Use U-turn on a Flying, Psychic, or Fairy type (This is probably overly complex, I can change it if needed)
Battle Bond Origin: Under Delbert's guidance, Mienshao makes a smart switch and changes into its new form, boosting U-turn's BP by 10 and changing it to fighting type. It also becomes much stronger and bulkier than before, allowing it to take more hits and do more with it's own hits.
Wait, how did we not see that Brodaha changed 4 different stats?

Pokémon: Electivire

Battle Bond Name: Gary-Electivire

Base Stats: 75/143 (+ 20)/67/135 (+ 40)/135 (+ 50)/95

Typing: Electric/Steel

Move Buffed: Thunderbolt

Move Stats: Removes items. Super effective against Grass.

Activation: Electivire ends its turn with a Hazard on the field.

Battle Bond Origin: Gary’s Electivire was the first Pokémon he caught after becoming a Pokémon researcher. It sometimes helped him defend other Poemon and has been used to destroy Team Rocket’s traps with Iron Tail and to use Thunderbolt to pick apples. When it encounters Hazards, it remembers destroying them with a Steel attack, using Thunderbolts to precisely remove objects from trees and helping Gary with his research and with defence of others.

Pokémon: Magmortar

Battle Bond Name: Paul-Magmortar

Base Stats: 75/95/117 (+ 50)/135 (+ 10)/145 (+ 50)/83

Typing: Fire/Dark

Move Buffed: Rock Tomb

Move Stats: Dark Type. 30% chance to Flinch.

Activation: A Pokémon on the field becomes affected by a status condition.

Battle Bond Origin: Paul had his Magmortar since it was a Magmar and it is his most trusted Pokémon. It has adopted his sneaky tactics and is extremely tough, blocking and tanking strong, super effective attacks. While it can take a lot of damage and has proven very effective against Steel types, it has been stopped by Brondon’s Registeel before through Flinching, preventing it from using its common strategy of statusing its opponents. When it manages to do so, it becomes even tougher and sneakier and adopts the flinching strategy itself.

Pokémon: Rhyperior

Battle Bond Name: Forrest-Rhyperior

Base Stats: 115/190 (+ 50)/150 (+ 20)/55/95

Typing: Rock/Bug

Move Buffed: Megahorn.

Move Stats: Super effective against Dragon. Can be used while asleep or Frozen and cures status.

Activation: An opposing Pokémon recovers HP.

Battle Bond Origin: Forrest took over as leader of Pewter City Gym from his family members. While he borrows most of his Pokémon from his brother, Brock, he has a Rhyperior of his own. He once used his Rhyperior against a Nurse Joy’s Latias in order to defend the gym from being closed down. While Rhyperior inflicted a lot of damage with Megahorn, Latias simply used Recover and froze it with Ice Beam, costing the match. While the gym was saved, Rhyperior has not forgotten that match. When it sees a Pokémon recover HP, it remembers Nurse Joys healing techniques and Latias using Recover, so it protects itself from being Frozen again, while learning to do even more damage to dragons like Latias.

Pokémon: Magnezone

Battle Bond Name: Zero-Magnezone

Base Stats: 70/70/115/190 (+ 60)/130 (+ 40)/70 (+ 10)

Typing: Steel/Ghost

Move Buffed: Discharge

Move Stats: Ghost type. Does extra damage based on number of non-fainted allies, like Beat Up.

Activation: Magnezone ends its turn with a Room, Terrain or Weather active.

Battle Bond Origin: Zero used his Magnezone to lead his army of Magnemite and Magneton in an attempt to confront Giratina and take over the Distortion World. When it encounters certain field effects, they remind Magnezone of the ghostly nature of Giratina and the Distortion world and of leading an army of Pokémon.

Pokemon: Magnezone
Battle Bond Name: Sophocles-Magnezone
Base Stats: 70 / 70 / 150 / 160 / 125 / 60 (+35 Def, +30 SpA, +35 SpD)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Magnet Rise
Move Stats: Changes the opponent type to flying. Heals the user by 50%. Changes the opponent weight to 0. Traps the foe.
Activation: Succesfully use Magnet Rise against a Steel-typed pokemon.
Battle Bond Origin: Sophocles did research on a way to make weapons out of electro-magnetism. To help him in his journey, his magnezone proposed itself as a tool for the invetor's experiment, having one of the most powerful magnetic field as a pokemon. What Sophocles found was astonishing: With Magnezone's own magnets amplified enough and the help of other artificial magnetic field, it was able of litteraly absorbing the gravity of an object, making Magnezone more massive and leaving the object totally merciless, floating around. Since then, Magnezone became one of Sophocles most powerful and most useful pokemon.

Imma close voting real quick. Congratulations to Origin0's Electivire, Sereg's Magmortar, InfernoDragon218's Rhyperior and Gravity Monkey's Magnezone! (if i screwed up please shoot me)

However...
I have looked through the winners, and I have noticed some have activation methods which are either too easy or complex to code. While I am letting it slide for this slate since it would be improper to change subs against the subber's will, I will be cracking down starting this very next slate, for I will look through new subs and make sure nothing of that sort is happening.

-If I deem the activation too easy, you must make it more difficult.
-If I deem the activation too complex, you must either supply the code yourself OR simplify it.
-Fail to do either with your submission by voting time, and your submission will not be eligible to be voted on.
-If you feel a previous winning submission of yours falls into one of these two camps, feel free to suggest a revamp for it, and I'll be more than glad to change it. (the spreadsheet's here if you want to take a look through your subs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/131WcGGg086qu5Zb0HWRP38l1o5ALSScNRpx_Bz4vDs4)

With that said, here comes our new slate...

Dull Metal
If any of you remember the Disappointing Dragons slate, this is basically that but for sub-par Steel types which currently reside in either PU or NU. Good luck, and remember to keep the new rules in mind when submitting!

Pokemon Name: Togedemaru
Battle Bond Name: Chris-Togedemaru
Stats: 115 (+52) / 130 (+32) / 63 / 40 / 73 / 122 (+26) (545)
Typing:
/

Buffed Move: U-turn: 80 BP, Ground type, if switch-in is a Grass or Ground type, they gain +1 to both offenses.
Activation: Regenerate HP via a move or item.
Description: Chris was fabled to be an ancient farmer who would regularly yield massive harvests regardless of the conditions. This was primarily owed to his legendary Togedemaru, who could tend the crops and make them grow in rain or shine. Togedemaru has shed its Steel hide to be covered in a thick layer of dirt and fertilizer. It rolls itself around on fields to spread the fertilizer around. The loss of Steel makes it more nimble while the layer of dirt takes much clawing to remove, improving its bulk.

Pokemon Name: Probopass
Battle Bond Name: North-Probopass
Stats: 60 / 55 / 175 (+30) / 130 (+55) / 175 (+25) / 40 (635)
Typing:
/

Buffed Move: Tri Attack:
35 BP, hits three times. Each hit heals 50% of damage dealt.
Activation: Tank a single-target hit.
Description: When hit with an attack that would only face it, Probopass is momentarily disturbed before transforming into a giant compass, with its three mini-noses becoming long, red compass needles. Probopass now always faces the foe, and can command its floating needles to attack the foe and drain them to sustain the main compass body. Along with its huge bulk being improved further, the needles can hit MUCH harder than the rock noses used to.
Due to being just an ordinary compass at face value, Probopass has become a Normal type.

Pokemon Name: Bastiodon
Battle Bond Name: Byron-Bastiodon
Stats: 78 (+18) / 114 (+62) / 168 / 47 / 168 (+30) / 30 (605)
Typing:
/

Buffed Move: Block:
+1 priority. For 3 turns, user is immune to Fighting and Ground moves.
Activation: Be at or below 50% HP at the end of the turn.
Description: Byron equipped Bastiodon with a special shield that nullified its two major weaknesses and rendered it generally more bulky. This new shield also has a line of spikes where the yellow markings normally are, allowing for increased power.

Pokemon Name: Klinklang
Battle Bond Name: Chargestone-Klinklang
Stats: 60 / 150 (+50) / 115 / 70 / 115 (+30) / 120 (+30) (630)
Typing:
/

Buffed Move: Wild Charge: 95 BP, no longer does recoil, 20% chance to paralyze.
Activation: Tank an Electric attack.
Description: By lingering around in Chargestone Cave long enough, Klinklang gained the ability to harness electricity, turning into an Electric itself. In this state, certain attacks no longer hurt it, and it becomes faster and stronger.

If my Magmortar's activation is too easy, maybe make it "burning an opponent"?

Any more o mine that could do with having their activation changed?

I don't think changing it to only burns would make a big difference: It just means Magmortar no longer can use Toxic as an option to activate its Battle Bond.

I'll check and answer your other question later today.

Pokemon: Togedemaru
Battle Bond Name: Sophocles-Togedemaru
Base Stats: 65 / 128 / 63 / 40 / 113 / 136 (+30 Atk, +40 SpD, +40 Spe)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Zing Zap
Move Stats: 90 BP | Deals neutral damage to Ground-types | Added 20% chance to paralyze
Activation: Knock out a foe
Battle Bond Origin: Sophocles' Togedemaru is his best friend. Togedemaru uses Zing Zap against most opponents, and even though it is an Electric-type attack, it can still hit Ground-types just due to the strength of the prickly tackle itself.

Pokemon: Probopass
Battle Bond Name: Alan-Probopass
Base Stats: 75 / 55 / 145 / 150 / 170 / 40 (+15 HP, +75 SpA, +20 SpD)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Zap Cannon
Move Stats: 70 Acc | 100% accurate when targeting a Steel-type
Activation: Get hit by an Electric-type move
Battle Bond Origin: Alan had a Probopass which was trained to use Zap Cannon more accurately. This Zap Cannon is also special in that it retains some of Probopass' innate magnetic qualities, allowing it to home in on Steel-type targets.

Pokemon: Klinklang
Battle Bond Name: Mormont-Klinklang
Base Stats: 100 / 140 / 115 / 70 / 85 / 120 (+40 HP, +40 Atk, +30 Spe)
Typing:

Move Buffed: Gear Grind
Move Stats: 60 BP | 90 Acc | 50% chance for each hit to raise Spe by 1 stage
Activation: Knock out a foe
Battle Bond Origin: Upon tossing its gears at opponents, the gears return spinning faster than before, making Klinklang move faster and faster as it attacks.

Pokemon: Bastiodon
Battle Bond Name: Byron-Bastiodon
Base Stats: 100 / 102 / 188 / 47 / 138 / 30 (+40 HP, +50 Atk, +20 Def)
Typing:
/

Move Buffed: Iron Defense
Move Stats: 90 BP | Physical | 100 Acc
Activation: Take a hit from a foe
Battle Bond Origin: Byron trained his Bastiodon to use Iron Defense offensively, using the shielded head in a ramming attack.
