With an Assault Vest, Rillaboom becomes a decent bulky attacker and pivot while still having great priority STAB with Grassy Glide and nifty utility moves. Knock Off gives Rillaboom utility by removing items and gives it coverage against the likes of Mewtwo, Deoxys, and Galarian Slowking. Alternatively, High Horsepower hits Steel-types like Magearna and Dialga as well as Arceus-Poison, who would otherwise wall Rillaboom. U-turn allowing Rillaboom to operate as a slow pivot, allowing it to help bring in partners like Sneasler in safely. Tera Dark allowing Rillaboom to hit Thresholds like OHKOing Mewtwo and Specially Defensive Galarian Slowking after Stealth Rock while also providing a nifty immunity to Psychic-type attacks. The given EV spread with an Adamant nature allows Rillaboom to KO Palkia-O with a combination of Grassy Glide + Wood Hammer. Pokemon who are enabled by Grassy Surge like Sneasler are near mandatory partners for Rillaboom. Other pivots like Magearna, Solgaleo, and Landorus-T form a powerful pivot core with Rillaboom, with the former two also appreciating having their Ground-type weakness negated. Other Ground-weak Pokemon like Chi-Yu, Zamazenta-C, and Arceus-Grass appreciate Rillaboom safely pivoting them in and alleviating their Ground-type weakness. Rillaboom struggles to break through walls like Dialga, Magearna, and Giratina, so partners liek Landorus-I or Chien-Pao who can take these threats on are helpful.

U-turn allowing Rillaboom to operate as a slow pivot, allowing it to help bring in partners like Sneasler in safely. (Mention High Horsepower hitting magearna, dialga and other steels & poison types that'd typically wall rilla,). Tera Dark allowing Rillaboom to hit Thresholds like OHKOing Mewtwo and Specially Defensive Galarian Slowking after Stealth Rock while also providing a nifty immunity to Psychic-type attacks (from who? mewtwo? deoxys?). The given EV spread with an Adamant nature allows Rillaboom to KO Palkia-O with a combination of Grassy Glide + Wood Hammer. Pokemon who are enabled by Grassy Surge like Sneasler are near manditory mandatory partners for Rillaboom. (List some effective counters to rillaboom here, like Arceus-Poison, Dragapult, Giratina, Magearna and others, and what teammates can assist in overcoming these, like Landorus-I.)
