Gen 3 Another one of those boring SS teams

I've been getting plenty of good results with this team thus far, but you can never be too sure, right?

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

CBTar lead starts up the hurt with his Sandstream trait. Oh, and his hits also hurt.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Spd / 60 SAtk / 192 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

Since lacking a special wall sucks (and nothing else can take on Waters), Zapdos gets extra Sp.Def. It also helps his survivability while sleeping I guess.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Roar
- Surf

A staple to every one of my teams. Its also fun to Roar things out like Suicune who think they can set up on me.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 32 Spd / 100 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch
- Psychic
- Wish

Much-needed Wish support, and adds yet another Special threat to the team. With this, Ttar, and Gengar, Snorlax can kiss his fat ass good bye.

Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Screech
- Substitute

Having a max speed Screechgon fucks up so many things, so why not?

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 108 HP / 184 Spd / 216 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp

This spreads status anywhere it can. It likes to sleep incoming Swamperts and burn incoming Snorlaxen. Classic Boltbeam to hit at least neutral on (almost) everything. Additional HP to take on Hera I guess.

Great Sage

Banned deucer.
Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

Standard.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Spd / 60 SAtk / 192 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

I like to use Modest with 252 HP / 32 Spd / 224 SDef, but whatever.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Roar
- Surf

I suppose.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 32 Spd / 100 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch
- Psychic
- Wish

Consider investing some more in Special Defense and such; Special Attack EVs really aren't necessary.

Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Screech
- Substitute

Why not.

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 108 HP / 184 Spd / 216 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp

If that's how you want to use Gengar.
Overall, this team is pretty much bog standard and rather solid...

Yes, overall, this team is pretty solid and pretty standard. But it isn't a SS team because it lacks Spikes.

No special wall means Raikou can possibly sweep your team. Your only true counter is Flygon atm, so consider making it more defensive.

As I've said before, I like pumps on pert. Try it out and see which one you prefer.

Why FP>TB on Jira? The only reason I can think of atm is to beat gross/steelix (lol) quicker, and you have pert for them.

I prefer Explosion over dualstatus gar, but that's just me.

Yea Fire Punch to mess up other Jirachis pretty much. I guess I'll slow Flygon down a bit to make him more bulky to withstand Raikou more. And about Hydro Pump- I thought I had it on. I like It better than Surf on Swampert as well; he needs the extra oomph.

Your team has a pretty good heracross weakness once gengar is gone to wall off its megahorns. What you can do is consider making gengar more defensive at the costs of speed and/or sp.att evs, or you can invest Def Evs on Zapdos to take the megahorns or just give it drill peck to take care of heracross. You'll most likely won't be tempted to go for the later though. This is the standard Tyranitar spread for CB tar, but be warned that it will most likely not survive against Dugtrio, especially if its Adamant. As an alternative, you can run max HP, 400 attack and 161 speed to outspeed weezing and for guaranteed survival against jolly dugtrio, thought I think adamant duggi can still OHKO it with earthquake. As for Flygon, I run less speed, like 275-302 speed, with around 300 attack and the rest between HP/Def to switch into ttar rock slides better. The rest of the spreads on your team seem pretty standard, though.
