Aerodactyl @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Dual Wingbeat
- Earthquake

With the onset of the Crown Tundra, Aerodactyl gained access to Dragon Dance, which allows it to function as a setup sweeper that outpaces Choice Scarf users such as Flygon and Heracross after a boost. Earthquake allows Aerodactyl to hit Steel-types that resist both of its STAB moves such as Metagross, Steelix, and Registeel. Heavy-Duty Boots prevent Aerodactyl from being worn down by Stealth Rock, which makes setting up significantly easier. A Jolly nature allows Aerodactyl to outspeed Noivern and Raikou without a boost. Unnerve prevents foes such as Metagross from using Shuca Berry to tank Aerodactyl's Earthquake. As Aerodactyl tends to be walled by bulky Water-types like Suicune and Milotic, Grass- and Electric-type teammates such as Tsareena, Celebi, Toxtricity, and Raikou are appreciated. Choice Specs Gardevoir, Nidoqueen, and Heracross are also notable teammates for being able to wear down or KO bulky foes such as Rhyperior and Steelix. Fire-types such as Chandelure appreciate Aerodactyl's ability to pressure foes such as Noivern and Incineroar.

Since being revived at the onset of the Crown Tundra, Aerodactyl has functioned gained access to Dragon Dance, which allows it to function as a rare setup sweeper (RC), being able to OHKO foes such as Metagross while also outpacing certain that outpaces Choice Scarf users such as Flyogn (typo) and Heracross after a boost. (+1 252 Atk Aerodactyl Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Metagross: 224-264 (74.4 - 87.7%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and 1 layer of Spikes; not even close think u calced ada lo which the calc has. also, im not sure whether it gained dd from tundra but i wld assume so, didnt have it in gen7 so fs worth a mention. no cs users outspeed aero after dd lol, ninjask and accelgor aint seen / not gonna run scarf anyways - no need to mention certain. ig the word rare was a reference to it being a fossil mon? kinda weird contextually since dd aero has been surging in popularity, probs cld adjust the reference). It has adapted to learn Earthquake (RC) , allowing allows Aerodactyl to hit Steel-types that resist both of its STAB moves such as Metagross, Steelix, and Registeel. (helping cut words ig + it ran eq in gen7 as well so idt adapted's the right word) It has enjoyed using Heavy-Duty Boots (RC) , as they prevent Aerodactyl from being worn down by Stealth Rock which makes setting up significantly easier. (helping cut words ig v2). Jolly variants are successful in the wild because it A Jolly nature allows Aerodactyl to outspeed Noivern and Raikou unboosted. (helping cut words ig v3). Unnerve is the preferred ability because it prevents foes such as Metagross from using Shuca Berry to live Aerodactyl's Earthquake. As a result of Aerodactyl's tendency Aerodactyl tends to be walled by bulky Water-types, Grass-type teammates such as Tsareena and Celebi, as well as Electric-types such as Toxtricity and Raikou Grass- and Electric-type teammates such as Tsareena, Celebi, Toxtricity, and Raikou are appreciated. (words cut. also, pls do list some bulky waters, helps new readers). Choice Specs Gardevoir, Nidoqueen, and Heracross are also notable teammates for being able to either wear down or KO bulky foes such as Rhyperior and Steelix. Fire-types such as Chandelure appreciate Aerodactyl's ability to pressure foes such as Noivern and Incineroar.

Overall comments: some of my comments may be a bit long, sry about that, just tryna show the rsning behind the adjustments. don't need to adjust exactly to how i did it, just some suggestions as to how it can be done. "helping cut words ig" = i dont rly get / agree with some of the references so i cut them to help with ur word count, can keep / adjust them if u want to have it there still.

once done, qc 1/1. can tag me to look through again if u wanna, but shld be fine if u cover the pts mentioned.
