Pet Mod Abilitypos: FINAL

From some miscommunication, neither of us realized the Mega Sableye had a low BST until midway through voting...it's supposed to be 600 to match current Sableye, and its HP stat is also supposed to match current Sableye. Its stats will see changes but we're not sure exactly what yet, current idea in the works is +60/+10/-10/+10/-10/+60 working off of what we have now but that fix has some issues. Either way, new slate time!
Idk if you have fixed this yet but those stats are good with me. What are the issues?

Competitive Role: Halloween pumpkins are often lit with a candle, so I thought an ability based around that could be pretty nice considering it could synergize well with its Grass-typing. Fire Lash also acts as an excellent move for more offensive sets on this mon too, and its defensive sets are quite viable too.

  • + Bulk Up, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Superpower
Competitive Role: Defensive option that can support teammates through Sableye’s Mean Eye / other stat dropping abilities or moves. Good Defogger, also has a pretty usable typing both offensively and defensively to do this.

New Ability Effect: Ground-/Water-type attacks deal damage to this Pokemon with a halved attacking stat.

Competitive Role: Wear as in erosion, the elements, etc. - it has extra protection against them. Kabutops’ performance is often limited by its mediocre defensive typing and stats when compared to other options. This ability allows it to offer more defensively, now resisting water and no longer being weak to ground, while being more fast and bulky statwise, and having First Impression to beat grasses more consistently.

Competitive Role: Kind of a mix between offensive prowess and defensive utility due to its movepool and ability, which allows it to use Outrage quite well, which can be really nice especially when paired with DD, however it is a bit slower to compensate. Its movepool is already quite solid as is, so I didn’t change that.

Uh, the lack of Huge Power forces me to put an huge boost. It gains 110 BST. So it has 533 BST.
Movepool Changes: +Ice Shard, +Triple Axel, +Slack Off
Competitive Role: He is based on a sledger that can uh, pick hazards up on its sledge to bring them on the other side. It's possibly too OP.
This is the only veto, as the ability’s name breaks our rule for name schemes. There’s a chance that I could come up with an eligible name to replace it but if I were you I’d play it safe and rename it yourself. (Even besides that an auto Court Change on contact in the last slate of a mod would be crazy unhealthy in terms of balancing, I suggest overhauling the ability in its entirety.)

Competitive Role: Burly Bird grants Dodrio a fearsomely powerful Brave Bird, which when combined with its incredible coverage in Jump Kick and Knock along with SD, lets it easily blast through teams if not kept in check. One of the things keeping it in check however is Burly Bird itself, as the boost it provides is removed if Dodrio loses too much HP. The result is a wallbreaker that must manage its HP well in spite of Brave Bird's recoil damage and the passive damage caused by Helmet and Rocks if it wants to put in work. As such, Roost is a must have on Dodrio, and keeping it healthy is the name of its game.

Competitive Role: Is basically a menace to anything slower than it. Wood Hammer, in addition to being a powerful STAB, will grant a 25% damage reduction thanks to Block Head. While that's great for tanking weaker hits, that recoil damage can offset the damage reduction, so it can't be used recklessly. Sudowoodo is able to keep itself healthy with Drain Punch and Jungle Healing however, the latter allowing it to absorb status. Is otherwise a mon with well balanced stats, a strong offensive typing, useful resists and great coverage.

If you’re interested in my future projects, check out Abilitypos’ spiritual successor Poketypos that I’m a council member for. I also picked up a position in the Impersonators council, so look forward to that soon.

Abilitypos will return one day, but I’m gonna wait until I have enough time to dedicate to it, so I can overhaul some of the rules and add more polish. Also, as I have now learned, this kind of mod could use a bit more moderation, so before Abilitypos returns I will hold council applications.
