Porygon-Z's Adaptability-boosted Hyper Beam is a super strong attack against neutral targets, pulverizing even specially bulky Pokemon like Trick + Choice Scarf Cresselia, Sylveon, and Bellibolt. Uproar is a more consistent option, being able to bypass Substitute and beat Pokemon that try to take advantage of Porygon-Z's Hyper Beam, like Whimsicott and Zapdos. Trick can stop any attempt to stall out Porygon-Z by Registeel or Corviknight, and Dark Pulse hits Ghost-types like Spectrier and Pecharunt that Porygon-Z cannot otherwise damage. Porygon-Z struggles against strong Fighting- and Steel-types that can easily take its attacks or outspeed it, such as Archaludon, Sneasler, and Metagross, so Pokemon that can deal with them, like Landorus-T and Skeledirge, are excellent partners. Additionally, Porygon-Z can have problems with Endure + Custap Berry users such as Primarina and Skeledirge, so Pokemon that deal with them, like Ogerpon-W and Hoopa-U, are also great teammates.

Uproar is a more consistent option, being able to bypass Substitute and beat Pokemon that try to use it to abuse Hyper Beam like Ogerpon-H this guy can ohko Whimsicott and Zapdos. Trick can stop any attempt to stall out Porygon-Z by Registeel or Corviknight, and of setup sweeping from Sylveon and Gouging Fire, though it's scared of their attacks. Dark Pulse hits Ghost-types like Spectrier and Pecharunt that Porygon-Z cannot otherwise damage. , while Ice Beam hits Landorus-T and Dragapult for good damage. Porygon-Z struggles against strong Fighting- and Steel-types that can easily take its attacks or outspeed, such as Archaludon, Sneasler, and Metagross, so Pokemon that can deal with them, like Landorus-T or Donphan Skeledirge, donphan doesn't cover a lot of other weaknesses at the top of the VR so idt it's a v good partner, dirge has better overall coverage are excellent partners. Additionally, Porygon-Z can have problems with Custap Berry users such as Primarina and Skeledirge, who use Endure when it attacks, so Pokemon that deal with them like Ogerpon-W or Hoopa-U are also great teammates.
