Hello everyone and welcome to the second edition of the 1v1 Multigen Seeded Tournament! I am crucify and I will be your host. This format has players playing each other in the five most recent old gens with seeds to try and ensure the most interesting fights are saved for the end. Players will receive their seed rankings by the armchair seeding council of myself, DEG, DenisTheMenace, Potatochan, zioziotrip, Euphonos, and pqs , which will determine their opponents throughout the tournament.


Tournament Rules are as follows:
  • Standard Smogon clauses & tournament rules apply. They can be found here.
  • Single Elimination.
  • Bo5o1: Players will be playing a Best of 5 games in the SS / SM / ORAS / BW / DPP 1v1 tiers. Tiers cannot be repeated within a single set.
  • First game is SS 1v1, loser of the first game chooses the second tier. First one to win 3 games wins.
  • Ghosting is forbidden in each round and any obvious or blatant cases will have hefty consequences.
  • Matches are to be played on the main server or Smogtours server of Pokemon Showdown. Matches played on any other server must be replayed.
  • Each round will last for 7 days, extentions will only be given when both players have made an active effort to schedule.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Replays are required, matches without replays will be coinflipped.

Potatochan vs Ron, just better in all gens
STABLE vs (torterraxx vs waylaid) torterraxx is pretty good, I feel he has a decent grasp on a lot of gens like gen 8 and 7 and 5, but I feel stable is just better in all gens
Close vs smely socks, could be interesting in gen 8 and 6, but I still feel close is gonna take it in other gens like 7 and 4
Elo Bandit vs SMB, just overall better in most gens I feel, smb could take gen 8 and 4 tho
Satanic Beast vs Leru, I’m ngl I think edgar is only favored in sm, leru is a bit of a wildcard in most gens but he clicks very well
Rellia vs Freddy Kyogre, Freddy should take it in sm and bw, rest could be tossups
Murman vs idkgoodnames, I have no idea who murman is facing but I do recognize murmans name, he should win

That shit should not be allowed when ur in tours. And I'll probably get an act call cz of this stupid scenario too. What a damn joke. Leru just lower ur bitch curtains and let's schedule a time to play.
