1v1 is a metagame where you bring a team of three but only get to use one in battle. Your teambuilding skills are extremely important and your Team Preview mindgames must be sharp. A game can end in the blink of an eye.

Clauses:
Accuracy Moves Clause: A Pokémon may not have the moves Leaf Tornado, Mud Bomb, Mud-Slap, Muddy Water, Night Daze, Octazooka, Sand Attack, or Smokescreen in its moveset.
Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
Evasion Moves Clause: A Pokémon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
OHKO Clause: A Pokémon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
Dynamax Clause: Dynamax is not allowed
