Yajna is my fourth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Game Freak decided to make things a lot easier for Entei on Pokémon Sword & Shield: Flare Blitz, being a Gen 4 Event exclusive move on Entei up to Gen 7, became a Technical Record, while Extreme Speed, move limited to the same exact Gen 4 event, is now a simple Level-Up move! Entei's Hidden Ability, Inner Focus, blocking every kind of Attack drop (most notably from Intimidate), became the standard ability on every physical Entei. The Ability Patch, introduced in the Crown Tundra DLC, made the Hidden Ability available on every kind of Entei, meaning that Entei from Pokémon Colosseum can easily obtain its HA! With all these things considered, it was finally time to acquire myself a special Entei from this game and Ribbon Master it. The nickname Yajna, meaning "sacred fire", refers to the fire rituals and sacrifices practiced in devotion of Lord Vishnu (विष्णु) in Hinduism and connects well with Entei's shared move with Ho-Oh, Sacred Fire.

Damon is my fifth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Much like Entei, Raikou has been quite buffed on Pokémon Sword & Shield. Even if it lost Hidden Power (Hidden Power Ice was somehow mandatory in the previous generations - in fact Damon has been RNG abused with the best Hidden Power Ice spread available on Pokémon Colosseum), Raikou can now learn Scald on Gen 8, which hits Ground-type Pokémon for super effective damage just like Hidden Power Ice did, and it's also able to learn Aura Sphere, without the downside of being locked to a Rash nature anymore! The only way to obtain a flawless Raikou from Gen 3 is getting it from Pokémon Colosseum, since due to the Roaming glitch on Pokémon Fire Red & Leaf Green the Johto beasts have a maximum of 0 IV in Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed; moreover, Raikou is also pretty tedious to RNG abuse as the Cipher Lab is a noisy area and your frames will quickly jump all over the place: this explains why Coloseum Raikou is a perfect candidate for a Ribbon Master! The nickname Damon is a reference to the mighty tiger ridden by the ten-armed goddess Durga (दुर्गा) into war in Hindu mythology, symbol of immense power, bravery and valor.

Azzurra is my sixth personal Ribbon Master project from Gen 3, featuring every possible ribbon from Gen 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8. After getting myself a flawless shiny Entei and Raikou from Pokémon Colosseum, it was finally time to get my hands on the last Pokémon to complete the Crown Beast trio: a beautiful shiny Suicune in a Dive Ball! With the Substitute + Calm Mind set Azzurra can effectively abuse Pressure in a number of ways, especially for PP stalling. Maximum HP and Speed investment with a Timid nature gives Azzurra the most amount of overall bulk and makes her as fast as possible so that she can set up Substitutes more safely.
The nickname Azzurra is a feminine Italian name and it means "sky blue", the color associated with both the sea and the sky in Italian and with shiny Suicune's color palette. The name also means "pure"; "clear", and can link to the fact that Suicune has the power to walk across water and purify it with one touch, as it dashes through the North wind.

Gur Aryeh (גור אריה "young lion") refers to the Lion of Judah, the Jewish national and cultural symbol that represents the Israelite tribe of Judah throughout the Old Testament of the Hebrew Bible. The association between Judah and the lion can first be found in the blessing given by Jacob to his son Judah in the Book of Genesis: "You and your brothers will acknowledge Judah will be the source of Jewish leadership and royalty of the Davidic dynasty and Messiah." In this blessing, Judah is considered a lion cub who will majestically reign over the whole kingdom when he grows up: "the cub of a lion is Judah; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. [...] The scepter shall not depart from Judah, and to Him shall be the obedience of the peoples."

The nickname is a reference to the green dragon of Belverde, that, according to tales, settled in the outskirts of the city of Rimini and would have had fun terrorizing the population. Belverde is described as a real scourge, so voracious of men as to make it impossible to pass through the forest. This legend goes back roughly to 1300 A.D. and it would seem that the population managed to defeat it only thanks to the intervention of the Virgin Mary and the help of the Italian condottiero Malatesta III. From this point onwards, its bones are kept as trophy in the basement of the basilica closest to the place of its killing. "Hic sunt dracones".

The nickname is a reference to the dead woman portrayed in Maruyama Ōkyo (円山応挙)'s painting "Ghost of Oyuki" (お雪の幻), a work that singularly defined the image of yūrei (幽霊) – the Japanese ghost – and created an enduring Japanese cultural legacy. The ghost-girl Oyuki was Ōkyo’s mistress and lover who worked in the Tominaga Geisha house and died young. Nothing more is known about her. What we do know is that Ōkyo wanted to remember her in a poignant portrait which came from intense sadness and longing. Light colours on a creamy silk depict the white-faced, black-haired Oyuki in a bone-white burial kimono. Under her eyes, an expression that either reprimands or romances. The ghostly figure of Oyuki has become as much a part of Japan’s cultural iconography as the black ninja. And just as elusive.
