I too really like the ideas of a rotating generation, and think that that would perhaps cause people to bring ideas from other generations into the less popular ones with more quantity. I also love the idea of a semi-regular decently sized gen 6 tourney as a way to show off innovative teams.

As someone who is newer, I didn't spend as much time with you as a room leader. However, what little time I did have was great. You were always passionate about older gens, and clearly knew quite well what you were doing and talking about. You will absolutely be missed.

If you struggle to gyarados, then just swap power whip for bolt strike, I just found swampert to be more common when playtesting, but both work mostly fine
