Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I just found out that by investing 248 spd and 8 hp evs along with 252 spa, the base stat of its spd becomes 106. This means that you literally tank your way throughout the entire game with a ridiculous defense spread of 105/100/106 also with Slack Off.
Annihilape, Azumarill, Ceruledge, Dragonite, Garchomp, Glimmora(not really), Great Tusk, Iron Treads, Iron Valiant(around 50% of the time), Kingambit(occasionally), Meowscarada, Quaquaval, Roaring Moon
Despite Annihilape's popularity, everybody just uses this mon with choice or with 2 status moves. But, would it still be viable in OU without running choice or double status moves and making sure that it wouldn't fall down to UU like with Baxcalibur??
Bulk Up + 3 Attacks
Annihilape @...
Breloom and Iron Valiant are both very common in OU. Sludge Wave also checks mons like Grimmsnarl and Azumarill. But tbh, it’s totally fine to use Glimmora as a Suicide Life Orb/Focus Sash All-Out Attacker.
The Best Paldea Starter Used In Action

I also put together this very interesting and unique moveset that is underrated as h3ll.
Rock Polish + 3 Attacks
Glimmora @ Life Orb

I’m actually surprised...
Grass type Glimmora is a great option for terastallizing. It truly turns the tables against its weaknesses and STAB Energy Ball is an absolute necessity. Also, Focus Sash is a far better item then Air Balloon since no matter if Glimmora does get hit a ground type move (which are usually physical...
I’m actually gonna delete Roaring Moon or Flutter Mane in Scarlet and Iron Valiant or Iron Bundle in Violet to replace them with 2/3 starter mons (one for each version) but I don’t know which 1 I should leave out, their all so good competitively :blobthinking:
I've been looking as well, but so far there doesn't seem to be any data for official tier lists. The viability rankings won't come until another month or two.
I've been experimenting Gholdengo on showdown and from my experience, if it doesn't outspeed the opponent, then it just 1HKOs it. Recover is also questionable considering its frail defenses. But I don't wanna run both Nasty Plot and Recover at the same time, that's just weird asf.
I think Houndstone has good potential with Sandstorm in its moveset along with Last Respects and 2 other attacking moves. With it's 72/100/97 defense spread, I plan to use this mon to set up Sandstorm in the first turn and then just go all-out with its attacking moves.
Also, Ppl have been...
Yo Skeledirge can even make it to OU and actually the most competitive starter in this gen. Lots of ppl have underestimated this mon's true potential on the battlefield. It's ability Unaware completely ignores opponent's stat changes and lots of OU/UU mons depend on stat boosting moves in order...
I was tryna say the same sh!t but I couldn't of worded it any better. What I've noticed 2 years ago (as you mentioned above) was that offensive mons were getting banned at the speed of light while defensive/stall mons would just sit there and dominate in competitive. I've prayed for these...
