I've having a problem getting a hold of the meta since the recent bans to Chien-pao and Espathra. I've noticed that the sample teams thread is kinda outdated and 5 out of the 12 teams need to be removed. Any updates to the sample teams thread upcoming?

In all seriousness, I wanna thank Finchinator and the OU Council for having the courage to quickban Espathra. It was the definition of uncompetitive and unworthy of a suspect test

when I said they dropped the ball, I meant they consistently have council votes on which Pokemon to quick ban. I don't Espathra got more then 3 ban votes.

I feel u finch. its just in my opinion the definition of uncompetitive. I've never seen someone win with Espathra and been like "he out played him with the Espathra" im usually like "yea its no way he could of stopped that"

just ban the bird already... its uncompetitive. its just blaziken with roost and tera. plus its usually accommodated by screens and substitution pass. Not gonna lie OU council kinda dropped the ball letting it stay this long

Guess I didn't word my question write. Say I'm the weak link of my team and the other team has someone like BKC or ABR. can my manager make it so I avoid playing a grandmaster like those two guys.

Question for SPL. When a tier has multiple slots like SV OU. How do the teams decide which players match up with the opposing teams players
