Iron Leaves and Walking Wake Raid Event Movesets

The main ""difficulty"" with Iron Leaves is the fact it can boost on the AI's turn, meaning it's going to get to +6 pretty quickly with not much you can do with it. If you're online, there's a decent chance you can bruteforce it with raw dmg from the others while having someone that's setting...

    Sticky Orange Islands SQSA Thread

What I meant was simply "if someone is really willing to pay money for a shiny legendary, there's definitely less expensive ways than spending 60 € for a copy of a game." :wo:

Noone is going to "buy the game" because of a shiny legendary raid sir, not when nowadays genning websites are everywhere and it only costs 5€ to get a large amount of legal genned shiny. The only reason they keep adding up 7* raids is to keep people playing, as otherwise there's really no...

There is also a *moderate* chance of legendary raids. In previous gens they have used mystery gifts to distribute "other version" leges during the last year, most likely to help VGC players. Having them done Dialga / Palkia already, it is something possible.

    Sticky Orange Islands SQSA Thread

I don't think we have a specific place for that unless we have a thread about pokemon-related real life events somewhere down in this board... Though ironically I saw that happen live during the stream yesterday. Funny moment.

    April 5-7th 7* raid - Psychic Meganium

Fwiw the main scenario in which you want tera stellar for raids is either if you have a very good dual typing and dont want to change it (es: magearna) or you dont want to have to change tera all the type while typechanging (es: arceus) I also have tera stellar on some raid mons that i use for...

(Little) Things that annoy you in Pokémon

I wouldn't call 100/80/80 "no bulk".... it's no Dondozo or Zamazenta, but it's a pretty solid bulk for a offensive pokemon.. It also learns Draining Kiss if you want to feel creative.

    April 5-7th 7* raid - Psychic Meganium

The only reason I could see them using Tera Blast specifically on a 7* is if they have no move of the respective tera type. Meganium however does have Zen Headbutt so...

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - 18th Nov 2022! **OFFICIAL INFO ONLY**

I'm honestly looking forward to the format. HOWEVER I think they'll pull the same ""trick"" of last year: Worlds will be in a completely different regulation than the one that was live before it. While people didn't like it that much as you had to go in basically blind, there is also the fact...

    April 5-7th 7* raid - Psychic Meganium

If there's no Weather Ball, I think Brambleghast may be a underrated option. I think Psychic type will come with Screens, meaning we get full mileage of Infiltrator. That is unless they go full attack route with Zen Headbutt / Earthquake as coverage. In which case uuuh I suppose steel birds go...

    April 5-7th 7* raid - Psychic Meganium

Looks like Poganium is the next starter on the block. Tera Psychic is a... weird choice honestly. I struggle to see Meganium threatening offensively, but it's going to be quite chonky to deal with. I think Bug and Steel types should be able to resist pretty much everything it can do...

    Sticky Orange Islands SQSA Thread

From what I've seen and cared about so far, it's not that you're forbidden from talking about competitive relevance of pokemon (be it Smogon or VGC related), rather, that is not the focus of this board. If you're asking someone about a pokemon they like, and they like it because it's good...

February - March 7* Raids: Tera Ground Venusaur, Tera Steel Blastoise, and Tera Dragon Charizard

Fwiw for Charizard if you want to no-effort faceroll it (even solo), I remind that AV Sylveon / Flutter Mane with tera fairy + moonblast and draining kiss more or less stomps it without even trying (bar some very bad turn 1 crit shenenigans). Will be even easier if you end up rolling some...

February - March 7* Raids: Tera Ground Venusaur, Tera Steel Blastoise, and Tera Dragon Charizard

You must be unfamiliar with raids that have boosts in their "regular moveset". TLDR: they can use it on other player's turn, including AI's. Mewtwo and Iron Leaves had similar scenarios where they'd be at +6 within a single turn with nothing you could do about it.

Pokemon Day Presents 2024 - Pokemon LZA 2025

Very small correction, you can acquire Alolan Rattata in Let's Go directly, there's a few traders that give you alolan forms of regular mons if you provide them the kantonian version.

(Little) Things that annoy you in Pokémon

Sir if GameFreaks had ever been actually proactive in the way they design their games to avoid bloat, not only we'd never have had the Dexit shitshow (because full portability would have never happened in first place), but 99% of the problems the games have by now wouldn't exist. You can hope...

February - March 7* Raids: Tera Ground Venusaur, Tera Steel Blastoise, and Tera Dragon Charizard

Of all the ones I listed i'd expect either Dragon or Dark to be the one missing then. Aura Sphere kinda rounds up the coverage against Steel types (prevents from being walled by Water/Steel, Dragon/Steel and Grass/Steel) whereas those 2 don't really add much. Small caveaut: Clear Smog is not a...

February - March 7* Raids: Tera Ground Venusaur, Tera Steel Blastoise, and Tera Dragon Charizard

Reasonably speaking, Blastoise is something I expect with Water move / Aura Sphere / Dragon Pulse / Dark Pulse (basically mega blastoise at home), with a very likely scripted Rain Dance (to use Rain Dish) and then a potential Water Spout or Shell Smash (possibly with a debuff wipe to go with...

February - March 7* Raids: Tera Ground Venusaur, Tera Steel Blastoise, and Tera Dragon Charizard

It's most likely to cancel a potential Rain Dance (since Blastoise HA is Rain Dish so it's very likely to have it) while also neutering its fire moves. Nothing special.
